This was our second stay in the Muskegon area, and I would never stay here again. When you stay at a Motel 6 you at least know what to expect but at this hotel you get the quality of a roadside motel at the price of a Marriott. At the time of writing, this is the most expensive hotel in Muskegon and is not even close to worth it. The rooms are uncomfortable with the staff trying to hide cheap mattresses by putting foam pads on the top. The appliances in my room were broken and the sliding glass shower door was so unlevel I had to wedge a washcloth in the jamb to keep if from sliding completely open. The TV had a 3 second delay to even change the channel and the AC is so loud it’ll keep you awake all night. If you plan on using their business center, I’d say think again. It’s just an uncomfortable table in the middle of their lobby with wooden chairs I swear they grabbed from a middle school cafeteria. Their Wi-Fi isn’t password protected so do what you will with that info. Finally, they don’t offer a continental breakfast throughout the week, which just feels extraordinarily cheap. They have a paid restaurant in the lobby, but this is the first time I’ve been to a hotel that doesn’t at least offer a cereal bar. Heck, even Super 8’s give you a muffin and a beat up waffle station. In short, save your money and go somewhere else. For the price the Shoreline Inn is half a mile away and is a far nicer stay for less. I would never stay here again.

This is a clean hotel with a very friendly staff! Everyone we have had contact with has been very pleasant; from the front desk to the cleaning staff to the maintenance man we met in the elevator. We asked for and received a waterfront facing room and it's beautiful. It's pretty quiet for the most part. The one thing I wish was that there were screens on the sliding glass doors facing outside. It would be nice to have the doors open without getting bugs in. My final comment is from my husband. He said, ”If you do a Trip Advisor review, mention I love the big-man towels in the bathroom.” HAHA. I see what's important to him! I really nice place I hope we can stay at again, sometime.

Easy check in, clean room, hot breakfast. The only issue was we signed up for a king size with a tub, but when we called, we were told that there was not a king available. And all we were told was this is all we got

We stayed here one night and we were pleased with our room. It was pretty quiet and clean. We enjoyed swimming in the outdoor pool during the day. It was a good temperature. The bedding looked clean and updated as well. The check in person was friendly. There not a lot offered at breakfast but I had a cinnamon roll with coffee. The only strange thing was an empty granola bar wrapper left on the desk when we checked in plus an opened soap bar with wrapper left on bathroom counter and someone used a hand towel and threw it on counter. Pretty minor but why? It’s so quick and easy to throw your trash away. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay here.
