Platis Gialos Hotels with Breakfast

This hotel is a global chain, the service is good, the airport and dock shuttles are provided free of charge, the breakfast is very good, the variety is rich, but unfortunately we catch the early flight, did not have time to taste. Disadvantages: The location of the hotel is average, although it can see the sea but not directly to the sea, about 200 meters away from the beach. In addition, you must call the car, if you can, choose other hotels in the same group, the location may be better.

Wow Wow Wow 💕 Had the most fabulous stay at THE GEORGE HOTEL..Everything was perfect and we could not fault a single thing .. Our room was spacious,clean ,fab bathroom ,balcony and the beds were so comfy .Also cleaned to a high standard every day . The 2 pools were so clear ,and sun loungers once again were comfy and lots of them . Views of the sea from the our room and sun terrace was stunning . Staff were always friendly and helpful both in the bar area and reception.. Breakfast was always beautiful and plenty to choose from ,in fact too spoilt for choice .. We ate lunch here every day .The menu and food was again very good and couldn’t fault a thing .. The veggie pizza was a favourite of ours ,even tho we aren’t veggies.It was like a Greek salad in a pizza .The Greek salads we did have were enormous.. We really didn’t want our holiday to end as we enjoyed it so much ..The resort too was fabulous ..Our favourite restaurant was NIKOS GALLOP and had the most gorgeous salt crusted sea bass (filleted at our table ).. We would highly recommend THE GEORGE and will definitely stay here again 💕

The Grecotel Blu in Mykonos is a beautiful hotel where it’s worth spending your holidays or - as we did - to enjoy your honeymoon. EVERYONE Wirkung in this hotel (from the cleaning Laders to the Managers ) is super friendly. We were very happy and impressed! Our special thanks go to Costa, the beach manager, and to Panos and Vasili, who served us at the hotel bar. Especially Costa, the manager at the beach, made us wonderful times every day. Very professionell, very friendly at all times - really perfect. Thank you all! We definitely recommend this wonderful hotel. Very nice people, nice hotel, perfect beach and good food- in the hotel and nearby restaurants (e.g. Nikos Gallop which is on the other side of the street, other restaurants and bars are a small walk away (8 min). We cannot say enough wonderful things about Nissaki Boutique Hotel. From the minute we booked our room we received an email from the team so excited that we chose them for our honeymoon. We arrived late due to a plane delay but the driver was there waiting as promised and he was very helpful and friendly. He offered suggestions on things to see and do as well as restaurants to check out. The people at Nissaki were unbelievable. Friendly, helpful, personable and all around a great group that goes above and beyond for their guests. From the customer service, to the drivers, to the cleaners, to the servers and bartender you are well taken care of. A few made our trip extra special - Anastasia in customer service, Maria our server and Sakis the bartender extraordinaire. These 3 always had smiles on their faces and always asked if we needed anything. They went out of their way to ensure our stay was perfect and it truly was. The honeymoon suite was beautiful. Very spacious, had a wonderful balcony and ocean view and was very quiet. This was a magical and perfect trip and we cannot wait to go back! You have your choice of 2 beaches which are a quick walk from Nissaki. The food and drinks were delicious. While this is a Luxury hotel, the service was top notch, the views were breathtaking and our honeymoon was a dream. Thank you Nissaki for making our stay so wonderful. Special thanks again to Anastasia, Maria and Sakis who went above their duties to show they cared. When your bartender (Sakis) orders your husband a bottle of Crown Royal because they didn't have any at the bar, you know they value their customers and want everyone to have a pleasant stay. Absolutely beautiful hotel.

Staff go above and beyond. I left an item in the hotel and had a short amount of time before the rest of our party (who were staying at a different hotel) would be leaving the island. The staff got working quickly, and managed to find my item and get it to my friends before they left. Location was phenomenal, steps from the beach, close to other hotels and restaurants, close to other beaches as well. Short bus ride into town that picks up 5 minutes away from the hotel. Breakfast staff were very accommodating, made an effort to chat with guests and get to know them, even recommending things to do in town and nearby. Booking through the website gets you free transfer to/from the airport and is an amazing benefit to have. We were at the hotel less than 20 minutes after stepping off the plane. Like others mention in the reviews, avoid DK Oyster at all costs due to their scammy behavior. There are plenty of restaurants on the beach nearby that will provide the same if not better experiences for much less. Overall great hotel, would highly recommend to anyone!

This is a luxurious hotel, service and staff were excellent. A la carte breakfast of high quality served till 11 am. DJ played trendy music from 11:30 till 6:30 on the beach and so ***y beach staff waiting around the sun beds just to make sure the guests were well looked after. However, if you want to occupy the first row of the sun beds you’ll need to pay extra 60 EUR for a set, otherwise can stay on other rows for free. Room was nice with great view of the beach and ***y restaurants close by.

We decided to stay in this hotel during our recent stay to Mykonos after good research and will recommend this place 100 percent. I never had such a great experience in my 30 years of travelling international locations. Right from the check in to the departure there was a personal touch and care.. just like I was staying with my family. Breakfast was very good and fresh . We left our passports in the vault and realized after reaching Santorini. There were euros and some expensive jewellery and it was completely our mistake as we were rushing to take morning Ferry and did not take stuff out of the vault . When we contacted the hotel Stavruls from the hotel immediately took action, went in the room and secured our passports and other stuff. We called few times to discuss best way to get our passports and finally decided to go and pick up personally. Stavruls was so caring and helpful and she sent hotel driver Teodosl who initially dropped us to the port to to deliver the package/ passport to the port as had to go back on the same ferry to Santorini. I am not giving 5 starts for the reason of getting my passports back but the overall experience, care and personal touch we felt during our stay. Their restaurant at the beach has great food. Thanks once again to Argo staff and specially Stavruls & Teodosl for your help and care in ensuring delivery of passports/ valuables at the port safely. Never seen such hospitality and care in any of the hotels I have stayed.

The location of this hotel was fantastic. You are right on Platys Gialos. The staff is friendly, attentive and helpful. You get a free private shuttle to and from airport or ferry for arrival and departure. We were welcomed with free drinks and given a free bottle of wine with lunch. The breakfast each morning was a huge buffet with lots of delicious options and was included with our stay. We also were able to use the beach lounges in the first three rows on the beach included with our stay. We were in a deluxe suite that wasn't ocean facing but had a lot of space. We ate at the restaurant several times and the food was fresh and delicious as well. The hotel is very near the local bus which we took in and out of town. There are also multiple mini markets and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.
