Kwanruen Resort

In the heart of Korat, close to restaurants, and opposite a public park.

Great location in center of Korat. Break is fresh and plenty. Staff always helpful. The swimming pool is very clean.

Clean room, and easy access, but the wi-fi on the 5th floor was a total disaster. Basically didn't work most of the time, and when it did give a signal, it was one-bar, glacial speed - totally unable to do anything with it). If you need to do any work on your computer, this is not the hotel to stay at. Also, the shower head in the bathroom was very low, hard for a six foot foreigner to have a good shower. The breakfast was your standard Thai breakfast, with boiled rice soup and fried rice, and fried eggs, etc. - perfectly adequate but nothing to write home about. The best part is the location, right across the street from a lovely park, which is actually operated by the Thai Army - with bike lanes, walking areas, etc. and very clean. and a huge lake.

Good centrally located resort close to many local restaurants. Buffet breakfast is very nice and many choices.

The hotel was excellent value for money- Our room was clean and spacious with a very good selection of TV channels. A very good sized bed although maybe the mattress might be a little firm for some guests. Good storage space for clothes and a good sized bathroom- A very good breakfast choice to complete a very enjoyable relaxing stay.
