Hampton by Hilton Hotels in Nanjing

It was the first time for me to travel to Nanjing with my family. I was not familiar with Nanjing. I decided on this hotel with trepidation among many hotels. Because there were elderly people and children, I had many concerns. I was very anxious before checking in and on the way to the hotel. The road was very congested on May Day, but this hotel completely exceeded my expectations and brought me too many surprises. Surprise 1: When we were still stuck in traffic, we received a call from the hotel and asked about the approximate arrival time. Then, when they learned that I had elderly people and children, they arranged a room for me in a targeted manner, sent me some precautions in advance, and entered the license plate in advance and told me the convenient parking route; Surprise 2: The lobby is very warm, with a parent-child area and a beverage area. The front desk lady saw that we had elderly people and children, and she was very smart to help me take care of them. A young lady enthusiastically took my child to paint, and another young lady guided the service to sit in the rest area and gave drinks and snacks. I took the room card with all my heart. After the processing, we had a lot of luggage. A beautiful girl named Zhang Xiangru took my luggage and sent us to the room The room was very big; Surprise 3: We got up late, and when we got to the restaurant, there were a lot of people. Miss BILI took us to a very parent-child area, and left pig buns for us. She also played cartoons for my child; Surprise 4: They have different interactive activities every day. Wang Na and a group of other little sisters took a group of children to make ice cream and hand-made lemon tea, so that the children could participate in it, and it was free. I really like the parent-child area they designed, which can help us free our hands; Surprise 5: The room also has different gifts for adults and children; Surprise 6: Too many, too many, too many, too many touching things... Although the price will be slightly higher during holidays, I think it is worth it for their attentive service. The overall feeling in this store is very comfortable. Several little sisters have a very good memory. Every time they see my child, they can call his name and make the child happy, which makes our family feel not strange at all in a strange city. It feels like the whole hotel is opened by my friend.

As a senior traveler, I stay in hundreds of hotels a year and have written thousands of reviews, some good and some bad. However, this Hampton is really a quality hotel that deserves praise. Not only is the surrounding environment great, but there are also all kinds of food and convenience stores nearby. The restaurant overlooks the surrounding scenery. I still remember the fairy waitress at the front desk. After asking, I learned that her name was Morii. She was really kind and beautiful. Since our family of three arrived very late that day, she not only enthusiastically helped to check in, but also enthusiastically gave us a breakfast voucher. During the day, she also helped us recommend the must-eat food in the surrounding area. The service attitude was very good and I give her a big praise! The room was cleaned very cleanly, the room was large, the air was fresh, the view was wide, the view was good on the high floors, and the items were neatly arranged. The facilities are also very smart, the Sealy mattress is very comfortable, there are two robots in the lobby, and the children specially let the robots deliver things at night. The room is very clean. The area around is not developed yet. There is nothing to visit. But it seems that something is being built outside. The hotel is about 18 minutes by taxi from Nanjing South Railway Station, which is very good. It is about 20 minutes by taxi from Confucius Temple and Qinhuai River. It is about 25 minutes from the museum. It is a bit far from the Nanjing Massacre, about 30 minutes. In general, this place is not too far from all the attractions. It is quiet. If you don't like noise, you can choose this one. Takeout is also very convenient. Good 👍

Continuing from where I left or from my previous submitted comments: overall experience was pleasant and enjoyable (mainly due to the friendliness + helpfulness of hotel staff) therefore we extended our stay and spent a few more days in Nanjing. Rooms were cosy enough but perhaps (just a personal opinion) more options can be made available - a queen size bed coupled with a single (currently the trend) sofa beds in most of those Holiday Inn rooms, instead of a standard sofa (perfect for small families) plus pay per view offerings. Not forgetting free breakfast coupons for three (since we booked as and indicated three pax) my 5cts worth, my many years of moonlighting as a mystery shopper for an American company.. So to say that, in this review is a truly four star rating for a “four star hotel” but the final verdict is a three star score. All shortcomings were resolved by the team (the people) hotel amenities and etc. Definitely room for improvements and my mission to deliver truthful, useful and accurate information (for the sake of future potential guests)

The mall, go out to eat barbecue street at night, it is very lively, go back to the hotel to rest after dinner, it's a wow day

The room is clean and tidy. The front desk staff Xiao Lai and the room service staff are warm and thoughtful. We are very satisfied with the room they arranged. Out of trust in the brand, I choose Hilton Garden Inn almost every time I go out. Each city has its own local characteristics, and the standards are generally the same. I feel that it can basically meet the needs of guests, whether it is a business trip or a tourist. The breakfast is a combination of Chinese and Western food, with a good combination of meat and vegetables. With the addition of local flavors, it can fully meet the needs of different guests. The receptionists are very accommodating. They are friendly and polite. The ambiance of the hotel entrance is amazing and the room is clean and superb. I love the room arrangements and with complete amenities.
