Yangzi River International Conference Center

The location is great if you are a concert goer like me. They provided a drop off and pick up service for me, which I totally appreciated given that I am a foreigner, and first time visitor to Nanjing. I wasn't sure how to get there on time, given how bad the roads could get. That said, the room, is much more than I expected. It was utterly spacious, with a bath, and separate shower and toilet facilities. The river facing view is worth it (albeit it was rainy the day I arrived and windows could do with some cleaning). Room has more than ample space for a single user but totally good for more than 2 persons, I am sure. The breakfast the next day was also much welcomed with a large variety of local options and a small selection for those with a western palate. Ohh, and that they helped me with their infamous Nanjing cabby who tried to fleece me. They made a report on my behalf and empathised with my encounter, giving me a little treat pack reserved for the little ones. Little gesture counts when you are in a foreign land. The only thing I would suggest? The temperature of the air conditioning doesn't seem to be quite right. It was warm in the breakfast area and in the room, despite setting the temperature low. Regardless, I would stay there again if I am in the vicinity.

We came for the music festival and it was a great location.

The room was very clean and big. While the hotel is very far from the city center, its location is perfect for those attending an event at the conference center nearby. The staff is extremely kind, though nobody speaks english. Breakfast is good, though a bit poor compared to other hotels with similar ratings.

The room was spotless and well equipped. A very good choice of stay for business traveler.
