Very pleasant stays at this lovely hotel. Room is bigger than most hotels in Japan Has a small kitchen stove that we used to cook a family dinner on the last day since the supermarket was just right across the road. Must mention the service staff was super helpful and accommodating. If I’m visiting Kyoto again will definitely stay here again!

After a long time of review, Hongye Jiwei ran to the mountains of Kyoto, Kaohsiung Shenhu Kaohsiung Mountain is extremely clean. Except for the hotel guests and a few climbers, there are basically no people seen. Compared to the urban area, the red leaves are basically fallen, but the scene of the mountains and the fallen leaves is also very wonderful. The hotel is traditional and old-fashioned with one night and two food. The dinner is very delicious. Although the breakfast tastes average, the details are meticulous and there is nothing to be picky about. After all, the room was renovated during the Showa period, aside from the history, it is a bit old, but it is also a good experience. The female generals and mother-in-laws are very kind, they will help you make tea and serve refreshments when you check in, and will briefly introduce the dishes when they are served. Pros : Close to JR Kyoto station, just about 10 mins walk. Hotel looks quite new & very clean Rooms are spacious enough (considering Japan’s standard) Staff are generally friendly and always prompt to offer help. Very extensive breakfast buffet spread, literally one of the best we had before. Definitely worth booking a room package including breakfast. The only downside, the hotel tends to be a little overcrowded and bustling during our stay. It’s great for families but if you are looking for quiet or private getaway, then you may want to consider elsewhere.
