Ivana Palace Hotel - Free Parking
4.2/512 Reviews
I booked this holiday understanding that very little would be open on our arrival date of 10th October. Sunny Beach pretty much shuts down at the end of September. However, if you are not too fond of thousands of people marching up and down the promenade, or hate queing for food or drink this is a perfect spot. The hotel is very clean and looked after despite its age and the breakfast is perfectly fine. Ok, no croque madame or eggs benedict but for the budget everything is there. If you want tea (as anywhere) bring your own PG tips or whatever. the pool is spotless and QUIET! Great for us. And there was plenty of open supermarkets and shops, particularly in Nessebar old town. All in all a great stay at Ivana Palace and I recommend it as a three star.
Castro Mesembria Boutique Hotel

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed! It was exactly in the centre of the old town Nesebar. The room was very clean, the bed was super comfortable and the interior of the room was amazing. You can tell that everything inside is made with high quality materials. The staff was very nice as well very helpful and friendly! I totally recommend this place!
Imperial Palace Hotel

I’m going to start with the positives as there were some. The Hotel from the outside and the reception area is absolutely beautiful. The rooms were small but adequate considering you only sleep in there. The entertainment staff were hard working and very nice and always got a smile on their face. The one person that’s sticks out on reception was Stella a definite asset to the hotel, it was my daughter’s birthday whilst we were there and she organised a birthday cake for her. Housekeepers very friendly. The beach was minutes away and had a boardwalk so good for pushchairs, wheelchairs etc. There was also towels to rent. One thing is a must is bug spray lots of little thing’s waiting to have a nibble. I enjoyed the snack bar food for lunch, nice salads and loads of fresh fruit. I must say the man who cooks the fresh bread downstairs was so happy and always had a smile on his face. I’ve decided to list the negatives. 1) there was one man on reception who was incredibly rude, regarding towels and pool hire. 2) the maintenance man shouted at us to get our sunbeds off the grass 3) Bedrooms and showers were never cleaned properly. Some days random black long hairs appeared in the bathroom and shower and I’m blonde so who knows. 4) Showers some days they worked perfectly but must say most days they trickled out and was cold. 5) Food in the restaurants were never hot, I’m a vegetarian and lived on salads for 2 weeks as there was labels telling us what the food was but no idea if it was vegetarian or not. 6) Toilets in the public areas were smelly Now for my biggest gripe my Grandson was served alcohol not for himself but nevertheless they still served him even though he had a child’s wrist band on. NOW FOR MY BIGGEST COMPLAINT My daughter took her 4 year old to the kids club and I arrived to pick her up and basically just took her. The staff didn’t check who I was and basically it was chaos the staff seemed more interested in hugging the children and not watching the others. How this hotel is a 4 Star hotel is beyond me, I certainly will not be recommending it and will never return.
Melia Sunny Beach All Inclusive

It was already early October when we went, the Black Sea was so cold and cold. The hotel closed in mid-October. So very deserted. No one at the swimming pool. It's better in summer. All inclusive meals.

We have very fond memories of our stay at the HI Hotels Imperial Resort. The hotel is located at the beginning of Sunny Beach, not far from Nessebar (a 25-minute walk), right by the sandy beach. The hotel itself leaves a positive impression and is comprised of three complexes. POOL / BEACH / AMENITIES: - there are several pools, including an indoor pool and one for children with various water attractions, - the pool water is clean, and the area is well maintained, cleaned every morning, - there is a special play area for children, - the hotel provides beach towels (with a 20 LEV deposit at the lobby) that you can exchange daily, - access to the beach is through dunes (a 2-3 minute walk); the beach is large and clean, - there are sun loungers and umbrellas available at the beach for an additional fee, but you can also go with your own towel (there is a naturist beach nearby), - the hotel offers daily activities: daytime sports and physical games, evening shows in the amphitheater, - there is a fitness area and a gym available. SERVICE / STAFF: - good communication with the hotel, both before the stay (via email) and during the stay, - reception staff is very friendly and helpful, - the hotel manager is a true professional, always smiling, regardless of the situation, - the restaurant staff and cleaning crew are also very pleasant and diligent in their duties, - efficient and friendly animators who encourage guests to participate in activities, - the hotel has a currency exchange office wit
Sunny Day Club Hotel
3.7/541 Reviews
Just home from a week at sunny day club. I was a bit optimistic after some of the reviews but I needn’t have worried! We were greeted by a very cheery receptionist who escorted us straight into our room(she stayed cheery all week). We obviously had to go to the bar to sample the beer (approx £1 a pint), and got chatting to other folk staying there, some have stayed numerous times and others said they would return after this visit. Pool is lovely and big, a few slides going into it for kids, separated younger kids pool and of course seats in the pool for the big kids.. Plenty sun loungers but it was only the 2nd week in June so not our school holidays yet, maybe quieter, lots of outdoor and indoor seating and a shaded vineyard seating area, very pretty. In the morning we had breakfast, we found something to eat daily; boiled, scrambled, fried eggs(though the lady takes about 15 mins to cook them on the show cooking bit out front), bacon of sorts, smoked sausage, beans, toasts, jams, cereals, fruits, cheeses and hams, salad, just the usual but well replenished and hot. Cuppys, juice and water supplied but sometimes a queue when someone’s filling their 2ltr bottle! The rooms were cleaned daily including clean towels. I had taken a kettle and 2 mugs and they were cleaned too! The outdoor area including under sun beds to out on the street were swept and mopped from 0730, sun loungers wiped down etc, even had 8 cleaners in a row on their hands and knees scrubbing the inside wall of the pool! The staff were very attentive, all of them, they work very hard and for all the reasons stated above, we will definitely be returning! Met some lovely people and just had a great time! So glad I booked and didn’t let the reviews put me off!
