Ruifang is the best base if you want to visit Jiufen and JinGuaShi by bus and Shifen, Houtong and Pingxi by train. Do note the minshu (hostal) provides clean and basic facilities and is suitable for families and solo travellers. Walls are a little thin but Joe ensures he spaces out the guests whether he can. He is extremely helpful with tips on food & places of interest.

The room was very warm, although Fenjie introduced the house to a small size, but the actual space layout was very good, and the decoration was very friendly.
