I went to Avis to return the car. I called and the shuttle bus came to pick me up in 10 minutes. It was great. The shuttle bus left every 20 minutes, which was convenient for taking an early flight. The bed in the twin room was big, which was great. There was hot water, coffee and tea downstairs, which was great. The front desk was also quite welcoming.

I’ve been returning to this immaculate Hampton inn location again and again over the years and it seems to both maintain its original look and feel while still being fresh, modern, and easily accessible , a short block from Grand Central. Very good, good location, a wide variety of breakfasts, and afternoon desserts🍧, a really recommended good hotel🏨Decidedly canceled the hotel farther away, walked around the bustling Manhattan Street, and returned to the hotel. It was very safe and convenient, and the price was reasonable!

🚗 Transportation: The location is so good, it is delicious and fun to go out, and it is also close to the subway station 🧹Sanitation: very clean, the facilities are quite new, and the bathroom is also easy to use 🍃Environment: Living on the 10th floor, although it is facing the street, it is quite quiet. I didn’t feel dangerous when I went back to play late at night 🔔Service: The sister at the front desk is very nice, the only downside is that the breakfast is received too fast, there is almost nothing to eat at 8:50. But there are great cafes and bagels around the hotel

I have paid for my room online before check-in. However, I was charged again upon checkout.... and it was paying for a room that was not under my name!! Thank God I double checked. The staff checked and made a refund to my credit card without any expression or apology. It was so stressful to try to settle this while catching the shuttle bus. The driver looked friendly but I was taken aback when he shouted rudely at my aged mother who was hesitant at the door because the two front rows were all taken up and she has difficulty moving to the back row. A younger lady then offered her seat to my mom. When I had time to check my credit card bill later, I realized that the refunded amount was less than the amount wrongly charged to my card! I wrote to their guest relations but one and a half month later, I still have not received any reply from them. Although the shuttle service was prompt and room was clean and quiet, I probably will not stay there again.
