New Hotels in Busan

"We stayed at this brand new serviced apartment with 2 adults and 2 children. It had two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a dining area, and a living room. The large wrap-around balcony offered amazing sunset views. If you're sensitive to light, bring your own eye mask, or the front desk can provide one. One of the guest rooms only has sheer curtains, not blackout ones. The hotel is quite new, so if you're taking a taxi and can't read Korean, you can just search for ”Obanjang Samgyeopsal” in Haeundae, Busan. The hotel building is right next to it. It's located just 30 meters after turning left at the second intersection on the main road of Haeundae Beach. It's a very convenient 3-minute walk to the beach. Highly recommended!"

"What a chaotic combination of a building utterly unprepared for heavy rain (leaking everywhere, puddles forming) and the Matié management's complete lack of consideration for how uncomfortable guests would be. There was no basic guidance like directing us to the check-in lounge or telling us to use the underground passage when moving between buildings A and B. So, initially, we walked on the first floor, got drenched with our luggage... And with few signs, we were just wandering around. We weren't the only ones. The breakfast buffet is absolutely, definitively not recommended. The bread was old and hard, and they poured commercial orange juice right in front of guests. The seaweed soup was under-seasoned. All this for a 500,000 won stay, and 28,000 won per person for breakfast?! I will never go back. They seriously need to make major improvements. Tsk."

"Coming to Korea for a summer vacation, Busan was our second stop, and this new hotel in Busan was by far the best throughout our trip. The bedding was new, and the facilities were complete. You could even cook your own noodles, with tableware and a microwave provided (please clean up after yourself and protect the equipment before leaving). Self-check-in on the 2nd floor was very convenient. It was also easy to pick up water from the 2nd floor during working hours. Food deliveries could be brought right to the room door. Downstairs is Haeundae Commercial Street, and it's a short walk to the capsule train and Kamakura, making it super convenient to get anywhere from here. The subway line 2 is just a 3-4 minute walk downstairs. In the evening, it was very pleasant to go to the beach and enjoy the sea breeze. The only drawback was that the duvet cover fabric was too stiff. When turning over in bed at night, the rustling sound from the duvet was quite loud. Aside from the bedding issue, I would definitely book this hotel again."

"I was a bit confused at first because the hotel shared the same photos and address as Hotel HLB, but it turned out to be split into upper and lower floors. The hotel itself is clean, and so is the room. While it's a twin room and not huge, it's compact, comfortable, and well-organized. I had read some reviews mentioning noise, so I requested a quiet room several times, and perhaps because of that, I had absolutely no issues. I stayed here for BTS Festa, and seeing the purple BTS balloons in the lobby really lifted my spirits 💜. I'd love to stay here again!"

"The toilet and bathroom are tiny. The shower water flows into the toilet area. While there's a kitchen, it's not usable, and there are only cups, no plates or bowls. However, towels are changed daily, and water is replenished. The front desk staff are very polite, and the housekeeping staff are exceptionally friendly. Aside from the strange layout with a lot of wasted space, the location is great, the room is new, the view is excellent, and the price is reasonable."

"The staff were all incredibly kind and wonderful people, which I really appreciated! I was also relieved that they could communicate in Japanese. This time, I booked a suite. We had a great view of the big bridge, and the night view was absolutely stunning, which was lovely. However, I was disappointed that the bathroom was full of mold. Also, it seemed like the cleaning wasn't thorough, as there was a lot of trash under the bed. Since I'm a bit of a germaphobe, I brought my own floor cleaning sheets and cleaned it myself. I think it would be a truly excellent hotel if they could ensure thorough cleaning not just in visible areas, but also in less obvious spots! The location was very good."

"The location is excellent. The hotel is conveniently situated near both Nampo Station and Jagalchi Station, making it easy to take the metro to different parts of Busan. It is also right beside BIFF Square, with plenty of restaurants and eateries within walking distance. There are two Daiso stores less than a 5-minute walk away, and a huge Olive Young outlet had just opened right beside the hotel during our stay, which was very convenient. The bed was comfortable, and the room was very clean. One of the biggest plus points was the water filter, which saved us the hassle of constantly buying bottled water. The washing machine and dryer were also brand new and worked very well. The view from the room was fantastic. Waking up to the view each morning really brightened up our day. We did not get daily housekeeping because the available cleaning schedule did not fit our plans. However, we did request fresh towels and rubbish collection every other day, which was sufficient for us. One downside was the location of the washing machine and dryer. They were situated right beside the beds and generated quite a lot of noise when operating, especially at night. This did disrupt our sleep on a few occasions. The building houses three different hotels, with all three receptions located on the 3rd floor. There was a security post on the ground floor, although we rarely saw anyone stationed there. That said, the building had numerous security cameras. The first floor was mostly vacant, with no shops operating there. There were rental signs for the retail spaces placed throughout the floor, which made the area feel somewhat unfinished. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, particularly because of the excellent location, cleanliness, comfortable bed, fantastic view, and useful in-room facilities."

"The room was spacious and newly renovated with modern facilities. There are many restaurants and convenience stores nearby, and it's very close to Lotte Department Store and the subway station. The only downside was a strong smell due to the fresh renovation, but their air purification system worked wonders, and the smell was almost gone after a few hours. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a very comfortable environment, and I would definitely consider staying here again."

"This hotel is still quite new, so it's very clean. It's super convenient with lots of convenience stores, cafes, and shops nearby. It's a compact hotel with not too many rooms. There was only one front desk staff member, and they seemed busy, but their Japanese was excellent, and they were very kind. I had an early departure the next morning and wanted to arrange a taxi. When I inquired, they immediately said they'd pass on the request since the staff at that time couldn't speak Japanese. The price was also affordable, and I'd definitely like to stay here again."
