The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The location is super good. It’s definitely the best place to stay if you want to see sunset at Pentire headland.

Good hotel. Personally I think it’s a little too expensive for what they offer. It’s an old hotel and you can definitely feel that. However, some people like that stuff. Staff were friendly and welcoming which after a long journey is the most important. The room was clean and mostly well equipped to support your stay. Shame we got the road view instead of the beach view.

Booked a single room for my stay and was very surprised to receive an upgrade so thank you very much.
The staff are amazing and so friendly, also a special thanks to Sue for being so helpful with everything and making my trip run so smoothly. All in all a lovely stay so a massive thank you.

Overcharged but this was corrected. Water trap in shower was extremely smelly. We wouldn’t stay again.

Lobby and bar/restaurant looks okay but the rooms are horrendous. Smallest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in, mouldy bathroom door, stained carpets, awful tile job, bathroom flooring peeling away. Obviously haven’t spent any money to keep the rooms even half way decent, felt and smelt so grimey and disgusting in there, wish I’d have thought to take photos as my description doesn’t explain how awful it was.
The guy who severed us on the bar was lovely! Prepare to take out a second mortgage if you get a drink though!! Reception staff are very very rude and unhelpful. One overweight women at reception was especially awful, hopefully it’s her day off on your check in if you do stay! Oh, and the room wasn’t even ready on time for the 4pm check in either, no sign of an apology or anything for this, just treated like we were in the wrong for being there….
