An's Eco Garden Resort

Wow! This place is truly amazing. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful, each one of them was so friendly and always put a smile on our faces. Rooms are very well kept, comfortable and cosy. The hotel grounds are truly stunning and directly within the nature. The atmosphere was tranquil and peaceful and was a brilliant escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Food was great and fresh too! We’d highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Ninh Binh who may be looking for a relaxing time with the most beautiful views to wake up to.

This resort is set at the foot of limestone rock, like a land version of Ha Long bay. It is the most beautiful oasis of calm, located down a long lane and features quirky accommodation types from bamboo huts on stilts to converted buses! The rooms are positioned around a big lake and landscaped gardens which are exceptionally well kept. We stayed in one of the thatched huts which had a lake view. The room was perfect - plenty of space including a hanging rail and wardrobe for clothes, plus big bathroom / wet room. There were a few mozzy’s but the room had an electric fly swat if you were quick enough to catch them. Our favourite thing to do was to sit on the terrace with a coffee in the morning and soak up the view! We also liked the fact there were picnic benches dotted around the lake if you wanted to sit and chill. The other thing to mention is that there’s Wi-Fi connectivity everywhere you go around the resort which is really handy. There are 2 improvements this resort could make which I feel would really positively impact them. One is the food… whilst there are a vast array of menu options, I think it would work in their favour to offer fewer but better quality dishes. The breakfast would also benefit from fresh pastries and bread options. Secondly, whilst the pool is absolutely stunning (it really is picture perfect overlooking the lake), there are only 5 sun beds which, during really busy periods, means there’s nowhere to relax in the sun once they’re all taken (the picnic benches are under trees which suits their purpose). A little jetty out onto the lake with additional beds would be fabulous! The hotel is situated near a few towns, all of which are accessible (and cheap) by taxi which the hotel can call for you. I would definitely recommend staying here for a few days, it’s perfect to relax and unwind!

The staff were incredibly nice and helpful. The food was great and facilities perfect. We rented a motor scooter at the property and used it to get to all the local attractions. Great rates.

This property is nestled amongst amazing rock formations at the end of a very quiet road. We chose to spend our last night in Vietnam here rather than in Hanoi - and I am SO PLEASED we did. We borrowed push bikes in the morning and then hired a moped in the afternoon - again another MUST do so you can see more of the stunning surroundings. The only downside was spending one night there - just wish it could have been longer.

AN'S Ecogarden was just sublime, I stayed for a week. Paradise at the end of a village road, surrounded by cliffs, greenery, birdsong and peace. The manager and his son are very helpful and attentive. All of the staff are lovely. The place is clean, has all the mod cons, safe and comfortable. It was hard to leave, so relaxing and peaceful. The place is a magnificent refuge from crazy Hanoi and is central to all the sightseeing. Bring some mosquito repellent tho as quite abundant due to all the water. The pool is great, the food isn't so suggest eating in Tam Coc where there are many choices. Breakfast is basic. No Western coffee. A small price to pay for such a wonderful stay. Would return in a heartbeat ! Motorbike hire available.

We chose to stay at An's as it was outside the tourist areas, and it just looked amazing. We were not disappointed. We were heartily welcomed when we arrived and shown our rooms and facilities. Each of the rooms are simply decorated with no frills, but exactly what we needed. The rim- flow pool was a bonus and we jumped in shortly after arriving g, which was a blessing g. Phun (not sure of spelling, the manager was extremely accommodating and arranged everything we needed, including motorbikes, car bookings, and advice. After we checked out, they held our bags for us (as most do) until we arrived back later that day. The bonus was that we were given a free shower, another swim, and could enjoy a beer while waiting for our transfer - great customer service! Highly recommended for a relaxed venue away from the madding crowd with all the perks.

My friends and I stayed here and absolutely loved it. Beautiful landscape and great services. Breakfast buffet has limited item but has delicious Pho, fried noodles, and fruits. The rooms are spacious and the staff are very nice. We look forward to coming back here when we visit Ninh Binh again.

Did a lot of research for our Ninh Binh stay and kept coming back to An's Eco Garden, and so happy we ultimately chose it! Very peaceful property located between limestone elevations, truly a unique stay! Staff was friendly and very helpful and the restaurant had plenty of options for all types of food restrictions (vegan, vegetarian, etc). We ended up going with the studio bungalow and the room itself was very cozy and clean, and had a great porch in front of the lake that we definitely took advantage of during our evening breaks to relax a bit. Would definitely stay here again, a peaceful oasis that is very well located, close to both to the town and to all the main view/tourist points nearby. We'll be back!
