The hotel itself is clean, modern and everything you need. Rooms are spacious with a very nice bathroom! Free breakfast was solid with a decent variety to choose from (scrambled eggs, muffins, bagels, toast, cereal, etc). Reception staff were very helpful. Location is great for Aquatica/SeaWorld/Discovery Cove if you're headed that way and not too far from anywhere else really (Universal ~15min drive). Would definitely recommend and stay again myself.

This hotel was our saving grace after we had a shocking experience at the first hotel we booked. We booked this hotel literally on the way to it in a Lyft and we were greeted with the warmest welcome and consideration for our situation. We left our luggage there whilst we went to Aquatica which was a convenient distance away from the hotel. We got our rooms in the afternoon,my boyfriend and I getting an amazing view of Sea World from our room but unfortunately his sister was given a room with a parking lot view. She was across the corridor from us though which made things easy for us but she was very jealous of our view-possibly understandable given how short notice our booking was. We could also see the WDW fireworks from our room! The room was nice and modern with a good showering experience. Just a few minor issues but maybe a lack of knowledge. We plugged our Nintendo Switch into the TV and followed the prompts for HDMI2 but couldn’t get it working and the remote had no way to change the TV source either. We also had no idea how to turn off the A/C.We played around with the settings and one option did display “Off” on the screen, but it was still blowing air in my face at night which was a bit in convenient. The A/C also produced the brightest blue light which we wished we could determine how to not make blue because it was glowing like a beacon at night. The included breakfast was a highlight, plenty of options which was a good grab n go style set up with some hot food options too which was good when we had early mornings for theme parks. The hotel was also very conveniently located to Discovery Cove,an easy walk away and a quick rideshare trip away from Sea World which made it good after seeing a concert which finished past park close. I would happily stay here again,it had all the essentials and even the mini kitchen setup was helpful for storing our dinner leftovers too. This hotel saved us from another disastrous hotel experience.

My family of four arrived at the Element at 5:30pm after an 8 hour drive only to find they oversold the suite I reserved (directly through their site) for two nights. The receptionist at the front desk sent me to two different rooms that he had said were suites (separate bedroom) but turned out to be just standard studio rooms. Perhaps sensing my growing frustration, another receptionist, "Nebraska", upgraded our room to a nicer suite on the top floor. Kudos to her. If she had not done that my review would be 0 stars. This suite was nice and large but, unfortunately, the bedroom AC did not work at all the first night (the main living AC was working). After calling down the next morning for repair, the next night yielded a blowing fan from the vent, but NO cold air. Our stay was in early April, so the temperature hovered at 74 degrees at night in that bedroom which was kinda doable? If this had been in the heat of mid-summer, tho? I was surprised to find this issue at a new hotel. The hotel is nicely designed with a Scandinavian flair and the Aloft adjoins which I think is a great way to share accommodations with complimentary hotels. The room and bedding seemed clean. There were only two towels in the bathroom which seemed strange for such a large suite. The bathroom door would not lock. The bathroom fan did not turn on. Again, why is this happening a newer hotel? The breakfast was surprisingly worse than expected. The person making omelets was friendly enough, but the egg mixture is poured from a large container and is obviously very low quality. Don't expect them to be cracking eggs in front of you. There is no other hot food, just fruit, yogurt and muffins. etc. There was no luggage cart available the entire night we checked in. I had to take about 5 or 6 trips to get my families gear up to the room. There was one cart available on the day we checked out, tho. Finally, If you think you are wanting to walk from this hotel please read on. The hotel is located right across the back of Seaworld and was visible from our room. However the front and only entrance to Seaworld is unfortunately a 30-40 minute walk away through some heavy traffic streets. Without sidewalks at times. I was forced to walk this route w/ stroller due to an ill child mid-day at the park (we had gotten seperated from a family friend that we rode to the park with, and Uber with child seat was 20 minutes away) and it was long and precarious journey. You have to cross a 4 lane highway, without a crosswalk, to get to the Seaworld parking lot. Nobody else was walking the route while I was on it. It appears Seaworld does not encourage walking to the park. Especially from this direction. Without Nebraska helping us out at the front desk, this would've been a real tough trip. So much thanks to her. I hope Marriott can remedy their oversold room issue, improve the breakfast, and address the themaintenance issues. Call ahead?

During a late-night arrival at a Marriott property, Marilyn Dominguez, the night supervisor, promptly and efficiently resolved a significant issue. Her proactive problem-solving exemplified outstanding professionalism, reinforcing my preference for Marriott as my top hotel brand. Thanks, Omar and Amaia Nunez

The arrival. Look up the location on a map. You can only enter from Central Florida Pkwy. I thought I could sneak through the Aloft hotel next door. No dice. If you arrive at night take your time as it will be really dark. Hotel manager says they are working on the lighting as this is a new development area. Front desk personnel were really great and friendly. Easy check-in. Everything seems new and fresh. The room was in good shape but the floor had not been cleaned. I had a pair of socks on that attract everything. Lets just say there is a naked Sasquatch out there. I let the manager know and she was on top of things. That was really the only issue I had. Nice building. Excellent location. You also have a variety of restaurants and shops in the area if you need them. I would stay here again especially with the quick response from management.

I'm staying at the Element on I-Drive while I'm in Orlando from February 23 - 27, 2024. I arrived at the hotel around 8pm on the 23rd and check in went very smoothly. The agent at the desk at that time was extremely helpful and kind. By the time that I got settled in, ate, showered, and ready for bed it was around midnight. As soon as I pulled back the duvet, I was immediately hit with the smell of urine. I called the front desk and a male agent told me that he would check and see if someone from housekeeping was still around, or if I would have to change rooms for the night. An hour passed and I heard nothing, so I called back. This time, another male agent sounded surprised that no one had been to my room yet, but said there was a list of people that needed housekeeping and that I was next and could expect someone to be up shortly. 30 minutes later, still nothing, so I called again. Finally, a female agent said that no one from housekeeping was onsite anymore and that I should've checked my room for cleanliness as soon as I arrived because now there was nothing they could do. I apologized to her for not immediately coming into my room and sniffing the sheets for urine, I didn't realize that was the expected behavior for guests of the Element. Ultimately, she said I could either sleep in the bed that smelled like someone else's urine and housekeeping would change the sheets the next day, or they could bring fresh sheets for me to make the bed myself and she would make sure that housekeeping prioritized my room for cleaning the next day. At that point, it was almost 2am and I was exhausted and ready to lay down, so I accepted the fresh sheets. When I *****ped the bed, the mattress pad underneath the sheets was absolutely FILTHY, full of hair and multiple urine stains, and smelled foul. The next day, housekeeping did not clean my room until around 4PM after I requested service - my room was not "prioritized" at all. Additionally, no one has reached out to me to offer any sort of compensation or even an apology for the bed reeking of someone else's pee, or the fact that I was left to handle the soiled, bioharzardous linens on my own. Housekeeping comes every other day here, so no service yesterday as expected. However, I just returned to my room after being out today, and housekeeping has clearly been here - bed is made and trash has been taken out - but nothing else has been done. Clean trash bags were left draped over the side of the can for me to put in myself. New face towels were thrown over my makeup bag instead of folded neatly on the counter. The desk and the shower both visibly need cleaning but weren't touched at all. I'm a professional global event manager with a degree in Restaurant & Hospitality Management, so I have an above-average knowledge of how things are supposed to function in a hotel, and above-average expectations to match. Cleanliness is 70% of your stay at select-service properties like this, and the Element Orlando I-D

Disappointed in this hotel. We booked ahead, however, myself and another family ahead of us at check in were told that our reservations were sold to other walk-in parties earlier and that they overbooked. The only thing they could say was, “we’re very sorry for the inconvenience.” Then they still charged our card for the room. We had to contact the hotel the following week to request a refund. When you plan a trip with a family there are so many variable landmines that can occur. The biggest is when you try to check in to your hotel after a long days travel only to find that the hotel decided to sell your reservation. On a busy night, we were left to find another hotel, Despite a brand new and beautiful hotel, a hotel is only as good as its management and service. A hotel that does this once, has done it before, and will do it again. I would not book with this hotel.
