Amazing

The lobby is quite small, but there's a self-service toiletries counter where you can grab essentials for free, including dental floss and tea bags. The hotel feels a bit dated, but it's very clean. The rooms aren't huge, but they're well-equipped and make good use of the space.
The only downside was the air conditioning in the room; it made an irregular buzzing noise, likely due to its age.
**Cleanliness:** The cleanliness was good, no major issues there.
**Service:** The service was very attentive, and the front desk displayed a rainbow flag, indicating it's LGBTQ+ friendly.
While the breakfast selection wasn't extensive, it offered a good mix of Japanese, Western, and Chinese options. We happened to be there during Japanese New Year, and they even served festive dishes like mochi soup.
The hotel is next to a church. During my stay, I didn't encounter any church activities or services, but I did see a baseball or rugby practice nearby, probably from a local team. Most guests were Japanese and very polite.
**Location:** The location is fantastic. The hotel is less than 300 meters from the subway station, right next to Osaka Prefectural Government Office, Osaka Police Headquarters, and Osaka NHK, which made me feel very safe. The intersection where the subway is located has a FamilyMart, 7-Eleven, Lawson, McDonald's, Sukiya, izakayas, yakiniku restaurants, coffee shops, and Sugiyama Pharmacy, making it incredibly convenient. Getting to Namba, Umeda, and Tennoji takes less than 20 minutes, so transportation is also excellent.

The hotel is very near osaka castle so do make use of it to see the castle in the day and at night (the latter is one that I regretted not doing). The staff was helpful when I couldn't lower the temperature of the shower - just need to use more force to turn the tap while pressing down the safety valve.

Overall, it was a decent stay, simple and cozy. I personally think this is suitable for business stay. Amenities are provided at the lobby, you can pick what you need. The only downside is that they don't provide water in the room, which in my opinion is quite a basic provision. Anyway, if you'd like to have one you can still purchase it at the lobby for ¥100, or the convenient store next door.
Location is great, walking distance to the history museum and osaka castle. Train station is also very near.

this hotel is located in a very prime location being only a 3 minute walk from the osaka castle park. there are many good restaurants and convenience stores in the vicinity as well. room itself was rather cramped for a room for 4 people, but bed was very big and comfortable. the hotel breakfast was elite, simple but full of japanese and western delights.

This hotel is really great. It's about 300 meters from the subway station. To the left of the hotel, about 300-400 meters away, is the Osaka Prefectural Police Headquarters – super convenient if you're a Conan fan and want to visit! A little further on is Osaka Castle Park, which is a lovely walk. The room was clean and not small; two 26-inch suitcases could lie flat. The front desk staff spoke English, were very patient, and communication was seamless. It seems to be a church-affiliated hotel, as many Europeans and Americans were staying there. They even have complimentary samples like facial cleanser and face cream at the front desk, which is a nice touch.

Stayed for 4D5N and had a very good experience in this hotel. Staff can speak English, courteous and helpful. Daily cleaning, spacious room & comfy beds. Breakfast selection is simple & delicious. Located near Chuo & Tanimachi Line, Osaka Castle, Osaka National Museum, police station, convenient stores (7-11 & Family Mart) and a lot of local food options. Will definitely come back! 👍👌

This was my favorite accommodation in my entire 23-day autumn trip in Japan. The hotel location is perfect because it’s just a few hundred meters away from the subway station and from the Osaka Castle Park. There are plenty of restaurant options in the area and nearby stations. It’s not a busy area to be honest, so access to trains was a breeze. I love that the room has a Smart TV and everything I need is available. I would love to stay at this hotel again in the future.

This is my second time staying at the Luther Hotel, and from now on, whenever I come to Osaka, this will be my top choice. The location is excellent, right next to Osaka Castle Park, the Osaka Prefectural Police Headquarters, NHK TV, and the Osaka Museum of History. The room facilities are clean and tidy.

Although the hotel is a bit older and has a more classic design, the room size and cleanliness are excellent. There's a microwave on every floor, which is very convenient. The best part is its fantastic location – it's very close to the subway station and within walking distance of Osaka Castle and museums. The surrounding area is also quiet and pleasant. Definitely worth revisiting.

The hotel is right across JR station so it's convenient to get around. The room feels a bit cramped and doesn't have space to fully open a bigger size luggage. Check in process was smooth and hotel staff are friendly.

This isn't directly operated by Trip.com; it's an agency booking. I was in a rush and booked a twin room, but unfortunately, only one person's information was linked. After unsuccessful communication, I had to pay an additional 300+ RMB at the hotel. Then I discovered it was a smoking floor, and the hallway had a horrible smell, as did the room. Two nights at this hotel ended up costing me over 1800 RMB, which is the standard price for a budget hotel in China, and the facilities were a bit old. There was no bottled water, nor a place to refill water bottles, only vending machines and an ice maker. The hotel is close to Osaka Castle Park and the Osaka Museum, but you need to take the subway to go shopping. Transfers on the Japanese subway are not convenient at all; going up and down was a bit of a hassle.

The buffet staff begins clearing the buffet tables at 940am. I was still eating. The breakfast buffet ends at 10am on weekdays, so why is the staff cleating away dishes while there were still diners eating? I still wanted to grab more food. So unprofessional. Utterly disappointing experience

It's a bit far from the subway station, and the nearest exit doesn't have an elevator. The hotel's front desk has Chinese-speaking staff. The hotel itself is a bit old. The 'deluxe single room' is actually a twin room with one bed removed, so it's definitely spacious enough. Breakfast is just average. The laundry facilities are in the underground parking lot, only accessible by one elevator, and the equipment is old and the environment is poor.

There are few kombini within 200m from the hotel, and around 4mins walking to the nearby train station, 5mins to the Osaka Castle.
The space is slightly smaller than usual, but the Smart TV saves our nights with Youtube and Netflix.
The breakfast is not really satisfying as the variety is not much, and most of the dishes are repeating.
