The Wynnstay Hotel, Oswestry, Shropshire

What a beautiful location. From the moment we arrived and greated by the fabulous Lucie at reception, we felt so welcomed. We settled into our rooms, freshened up, and decided to have drinks in the bar before our evening meal. The food and service from chloe were outstanding. Followed by more drinks in the bar. After a great night, sleep in our king-size bed, and we came down for breakfast. Help yourself fruit, Yoghurts, juice, and pastries. Claudia came to take our order for cooked breakfast. It's so fresh and amazing. Her level of service was outstanding, remembering our drink order from the day before, also remembering the little things like my mum likes her bacon crispy and my dad has an allergy to egg. Sunday evening drinks in the bar were quieter than Saturday, which allowed Chris the Manager to sit and have a chat with us, learning more about him and his wonderful team. Adding the personal touch to our visit. We can't wait to come back soon.

A very pleasant one night stay on route to Wales. Room well furnished although a little on the small side. Large bathroom with full bath and shower. Breakfast excellent. Would definitely stay again.

My friend and I have just had a fabulous meal and been served by the amazing Sophie who was exceptional . Brilliant service , super friendly you are amazing Sophie ! Also the meal was super tasty and a great ambiance . Highly recommend The Wynnstay for a meal !

What a lovely hotel, we stayed for two nights. It’s a beautiful hotel, very clean and well maintained, very friendly staff, very helpful nothing too much trouble. The food was superb very hard choice what to have. The room was very comfortable clean, nice touch of a welcoming note on the side when in the room.

Great hotel with lovely staff. Brilliant power shower and super comfortable bed. The breakfasts are great, loads of choice. Our room was comfortable and we were very well looked after, many thanks. We have just returned from a 3 night stay which was fantastic! The hotel is very comfortable with excellent tea and coffee in the bedroom, plus nice soap etc in the bathrooms. The decor is lovely for a county hotel and the staff really are excellent! We had stand out service from Sophia, who went out of her way to help us with a problem late at night - this was above and beyond what I could have asked for and we were so appreciative. Lucy was also super helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend a stay here - good value and also a great breakfast!!

I wanted to reach out and express my gratitude for the wonderful stay my wife and I had at your hotel this past Easter Sunday. Our daughter had booked us in for an overnight stay and we couldn't have been happier with our experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome. Our room was well presented and cozy, making us feel right at home. As it was Easter Sunday, we decided to have our evening meal at the hotel. While my starter of a Scotch egg was not the best, the main course of fish and chips was delicious. On Easter Monday morning, the breakfast wasn't starting until 8:00. However, the gentleman on duty kindly saw us sitting in the lounge and organized for us to be served sooner. We were blown away by his excellent service and willingness to accommodate us. The breakfast selection was also impressive and cooked to perfection. Overall, we had a fantastic stay at your hotel and would highly recommend it to others.
