Ibis Budget Paris Porte de Montmartre

A typical budget hotel. There is no air conditioning in the room. The location is not attractive and I'm afraid to go out at night. Breakfast is very simple. Bottled water is not provided and I have to buy it from the vending machine.

Overall the experience was actually bad. I remember that they assign us to a room where there was already someone's inside. Imagine someone can open to your room by just using the passcode. I mean the people on the front desk were very kind and welcoming. It's just the mistake made was an unpleasant experience for us. Luckily they resolved the issue asap.

For me it had everything I wanted. Clean mid size room with TV and hot shower. Location was amazing in terms of tram and train stations were nearby and took me everywhere I wanted to go. Montmorte can easily accessible by walking. For the price I would say it was nice.

I’m a little disappointed with this one as there was no air conditioning or any fan in the room and at times it got really hot and humid inside the room even though we travelled in October which is the season of fall and the weather was better than the one in summers. In case you don’t need an AC or a fan, you can go ahead with this. Also, it’s a bit far from the central Paris and requires walking up to the metro station every time you wanna go to the central Paris. Choose wisely.

Overall experience with the hotel was very good staff was friendly the room was cleaned very often The surrounding area of the hotel feels dangerous

The room is very clean, tidy and cozy, but having a bit sewage smell. The big window is very good ventilation and good view. It is very good for 3 persons.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness of this hotel was extremely disappointing. We found cockroaches in the room, which was completely unacceptable. We were travelling with a young child, so seeing cockroaches everywhere made us feel very uncomfortable and concerned about hygiene. This is not the kind of environment anyone should have to stay in, especially families with children. The hotel needs to seriously improve its cleanliness and pest control. I would not recommend staying here, particularly if you are travelling with young children.
