FFrancisco VertedorWe had a wonderful stay at Riverside Hotel in Vientiane and highly recommend it to other couples or travelers. The staff were extremely helpful and polite throughout our visit, making us feel truly welcome. Our room was modern, spotless, and beautifully lit, with great amenities including free Netflix and YouTube, and a stylish washroom with excellent water pressure. The breakfast each morning was satisfying, offering both Western and Asian options along with delicious coffee. The location is unbeatable—just steps away from the Mekong River, the night market, and a variety of shops and restaurants.

JJasonThe room condition was great and the guy in the front desk was super friendly. The hotel is located in the city center and 3mins by walk from the Vientiane night market so it makes very easy to take a walk around from the hotel to the riverside. The AC in the room worked well and the water pressure was strong enough. One small bad thing was that there is no elevator in the building, but you can request to assign low floor in advance. So overall, the hotel was worth the price and considering all the good thing of this hotel, you won't regret staying in this hotel.

ZZachryI had an amazing stay at TT Hostel in Vientiane! The best part? It's incredibly affordable without compromising on quality.
The location is super strategic, making it easy to explore the city's main attractions. I was able to walk to nearby restaurants, shops, and landmarks with ease.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, ensuring I had a comfortable stay. The hostel itself was clean and well-maintained, with a cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home.

JJoywalkerThe front desk staff spoke fluent Chinese, making communication smooth and service excellent. They even helped me book a taxi using their phone app. Although I missed my high-speed train, that was my own fault for not anticipating rush hour traffic. Because I left in a hurry, I forgot to return my room key card. While I was in the taxi, the hotel room called the ride-hailing driver, and the driver agreed to return the key to the hotel when he had time. The driver was quite friendly and communicated with me proactively, but his driving skills were a bit lacking; he might have been a new driver, and he was driving a Chinese brand new energy car, a NETA. The hotel provided breakfast, which was also perfectly suited to Chinese tastes and came at no extra charge. There's a swimming pool on the rooftop, and whether it's day or night, if you have good eyesight, you can clearly see the iconic Patuxay monument, and as far as the eye can see, you can spot most of Vientiane. I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Vientiane for business. For first-time visitors who don't speak Lao or if the driver's English isn't good enough, just say 'ICBC China Industrial and Commercial Bank building.' This is my first long review on Ctrip, because the hotel's service was really good. I went out for business and didn't ask the front desk to have housekeeping clean my room, but they cleaned it every day during my stay and replenished all the essential toiletries. 👍👍

GGuest UserThe room was small but clean. However, the window glass really needs better cleaning. The hotel seems to host a lot of large Chinese tour groups, which makes mornings quite frustrating. By the time you get to the dining room, most of the food is gone, and waiting for the lift takes a very long time because of the crowd leaving at the same time.

GGuest UserI had an amazing experience staying at Lily Hotel in Vientiane! The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, very comfortable with all the essentials provided. The bed was soft, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the bathroom was spotless with a good hot shower. I especially appreciated the attention to detail in housekeeping — everything was kept fresh and tidy every day.
The service was truly exceptional. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and efficient.
Lily Hotel is a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring Vientiane. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and outstanding service!

GGuest UserThis hotel's location exceeded my expectations; there's no shortage of places to eat or things to do nearby. The room was exceptionally clean, and the mattress and duvet were incredibly comfortable, making for a truly pleasant stay. When I wasn't sure how to get to the night market, the owner at the front desk not only drew me a simple route but also helped me arrange a taxi and confirmed the price before I left, clearly worried I might get ripped off. Their service was incredibly thoughtful and absolutely amazing!

KKurzaWe had many difficulties at this hotel.
What was good: the rooms were clean, despite many negative comments regarding cleanliness. We had all necessary things in the bathroom, hot water, etc. The aircon in the room worked fine and the beds were comfortable to sleep on.
Breakfast is quite average and not much food for Western people. There are some things to eat such as fruits, yogurt, cereal, eggs but everything else are Asian food.
What was bad:
- Check-in was an absolute mess. The reception area looks like a ghost town with only one person checking in guests on a Saturday. We waited very long to be helped.
Finally, after long waiting time we reach the room to see that someone else already occupies the room. Due to a severe lack of English from the receptionist, we explained there is someone staying in the room and that we need a different room. He nodded that he understood and typed on his computer, scan a new room key but gave the same room number three times. So three times we had to explain that we need a COMPLETE DIFFERENT ROOM since there are already guests inside. This took very long. We got a new room finally but it was a twin room and not the type of room we booked.
- No sound proof walls, we can hear our neighbor coughing in his room at night
- The gym is not functional at all. So many broken machines that we were not able to use the gym during our stay. There is also no air conditioner in the gym even for when it’s maintained better.
- The elevator buttons are not working properly, the button to close the elevator door doesn’t work at all.
Generally this hotel has the potential to be much better. Management seriously needs to improve these shortcomings.
