Guest UserThe hotel is clean and hygienic, and the lobby staff are polite and speak both Chinese and English well. They are very helpful with calling taxis. It’s an excellent hotel. A special thanks to the staff. The facilities, including the outdoor pool and gym, are top-notch. The cleanliness is beyond reproach, truly world-class. The Chinese artisan spirit ensures the hotel is spotless. Every ten minutes or so, cleaning staff are seen inspecting and tidying the public areas. Watching their busy figures gave us guests a sense of peace. As for the environment, no one in Laos would dare claim to be second best after this place. Watching the sunrise through the window at dawn is incredibly romantic. In the evening, sitting at the sky bar, seeing so many beautiful men and women in pairs, groups, and clusters, truly brings to mind the ancient poem, 'I only envy mandarin ducks, not immortals.' Beautiful women and talented men gathered to envision their future together.

AModernMusafirI stayed at Settha Palace Hotel during my visit to Vientiane, and overall, it was a decent experience with a mix of positives and areas for improvement.
The hotel’s location is definitely one of its biggest strengths. It’s right in the middle of everything, close to the river and within easy reach of the main Songkran celebration areas, which made getting around very convenient.
The property itself has a charming Lao-French colonial style. While it is an older hotel, it has been maintained reasonably well and retains a certain classic character. The staff were excellent, professional, friendly, and always willing to assist, which added positively to the stay.
However, the room was somewhat disappointing. While the minibar was well stocked, basic amenities were missing, not even essentials like a toothbrush or shampoo were provided, which was surprising for a hotel of this category. There were also some maintenance issues: the bathroom had leaking pipes, and the air conditioning wasn’t working initially, though to their credit, they promptly sent a technician to fix it.
The pool area is visually quite pleasant, surrounded by greenery, giving it a relaxing vibe. That said, there were quite a few frogs around the pool, which became a bit irritating. While I personally didn’t mind, some other guests, especially European travelers, were clearly uncomfortable.
Overall, it’s a good property with great location and strong potential, but it could significantly improve with better room maintenance and attention to guest amenities.

Guest UserThis is one of the most satisfying hotels I've stayed at in Vientiane. The rooms are well-designed and airy with great natural light, truly a professional designer hotel, perfect for Instagram-worthy photos. The overall service is attentive and thorough. The in-room TV supports screen casting, and the equipment is new and large. I slept soundly for ten hours and spent the entire day relaxing at the hotel. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, and I checked out feeling full and satisfied. This designer hotel is located in the bustling city center, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing and shopping. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Vientiane. The exclusive butler proactively contacted me beforehand to coordinate my itinerary and follow up on my needs, providing meticulous and proactive service throughout. This hotel absolutely deserves a full five-star rating.

S_BeijingWe stayed here when traveling back via Vientiane airport. So we only stayed for one short night.
I have a mixed feedback
Very positive:
The staff is really friendly, helpful and also spoke very good English; the pickup from train station and transfer to airport worked very smoothly and was easy to arrange. Also the breakfast was quite delicious. The outdoor facilities like pool and surroundings also very well maintained and beautiful arranged.
Not positive/ convincing
The room itself are just old and outdated. Old facilities, used, not modernized. Just from a different area. I can't say not clean but you also don't have the impression everything very clean as it just ”used up”. We have been in Laos in some hotels, unfortunately I need to say this one did not meet the others and this mainly due to the rooms
Location is okay. Not in the old quarter but more in the modern / new city part. Depends what is preferred.

Every time I have a layover in Vientiane, Laos, I stay here. The shuttle service is incredibly convenient. The breakfast starting at 6:30 AM also gives me enough time to catch my domestic flight from the airport. I'll definitely keep staying here in the future. This time I got a membership card that I can recycle, but I'm not sure how to use it?

Hon_HoneyThe hotel is clean and beautiful, located right by the Mekong River. If you walk a little to the left, you'll find the night market, and to the right, there are bars and restaurants. It's incredibly convenient! The room is lovely and spacious, with a huge bed. There's also a minibar. The staff were very helpful. I was thoroughly impressed!

Guest UserThe hotel's breakfast selection is incredibly rich and diverse, with their noodle dishes being particularly delicious. This is a highly functional business hotel. The breakfast is very well-suited for Asian palates and is prepared quite exquisitely. The bedding is incredibly comfortable, soft, and springy. The hotel has a mini-bar, and the best part is that it comes with local Lao coffee and tea bags. We stayed for several consecutive days and were, overall, very satisfied. We even asked the front desk for several more bags of Lao coffee; it's truly excellent. Although it's a newly opened hotel, the overall experience was outstanding. If we have the chance, we would definitely choose to return. The hotel also has a coffee shop, a gym, a billiards room, and free parking on the ground floor.

Guest UserOverall, my stay was fantastic. The hotel's location is super convenient with tons of dining options nearby. The room was spotless, cozy, and the bedding was so comfortable, I slept like a baby. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and handled both check-in and check-out very efficiently. Breakfast had a great variety and tasted good too. Definitely great value for money. I'd absolutely choose to stay here again if I get the chance!

Guest UserEverything about this hotel was great, from the service to the friendliness of the staff. I especially liked that there's a convenience store on the first floor where you can buy Korean food, alcohol, cigarettes, and most daily necessities. The only downside is that it's about a 30-minute drive from the tourist area and Vientiane's main downtown spots. Aside from the location, everything else was top-notch.
