Yunnan Grand Impression Hotel
"This hotel boasts a fantastic design. Every evening, returning to the hotel, I was captivated by the stunning starry sky ceiling at the entrance – very unique and upscale. In the late afternoon, I enjoyed the hotel's infinity pool, which offered incredible views of the entire Vientiane cityscape. The pool water was also immaculately clean. Overall, the hotel's design is very high-end and sophisticated, perfect for business travelers, making for a very comfortable stay. The guest rooms offer a complimentary mini-bar with free drinks and snacks. A special mention goes to the coffee in the room – it was absolutely delicious, a local Lao blend, and there were also tea bags. I stayed for several days, and the experience was truly excellent. If I come back for a business trip, I would definitely choose to stay here again."

Latsavong Wanda Vista Vientiane
"Large, modern and impressive hotel. The bedroom was beautiful and very well appointed, with a comfortable bed and excellent shower plus bath tub as well. For all that, the service was generally poor if not unacceptable. On one occasion I had to ask for/order coffee on four times over a 20 minute period before my drink arrive. The breakfast buffet was extensive and generally good, although the breakfast coffee was at best luke warm on the first day and stone cold on the second day. Having passed comment both times, the coffee on the third and final day was acceptably warm but still not hot. The worst experience was ordering some snack type hot food one evening and having waited for 2 hours, choosing to give up go home feeling miserable (and hungry). The duty manager admitted to the hotel's mistake and offered took responsibility for the bill, although the hotel staff did try to charge me the following morning upon checkout, I left the hotel without feeling as if I was a valued customer, rather a feeling of being a second class citizen and unwanted guest."

Avani+ Lanexang Vientiane Hotel
16 KM HOTEL
"Our family planned a trip to Labuan, and we booked this hotel blindly because we were rushing for the high-speed train, but it turned out to be a pleasant surprise! The location is a bit far from the city center, but very close to the high-speed train station. What's great is that the hotel offers shuttle service, which is super convenient for independent travelers. Then, for check-in, the front desk staff all speak Chinese, so communication was smooth and the process was quick. As for the room: it's incredibly spacious, comes with a fridge, and has a great view. The bedding is also very comfortable and clean. Thumbs up! 👍"

Landmark Mekong Riverside Hotel
"Nice hotel with big room."
Wuzhou Hotel
"Room was fairly big and clean. Location is remote, near the Khamsavath Station but quite a distance from the town area. Nobody was attending to the reception and required prompting before the keys to the room are handed over. But for its price point, its not that bad a stay."
Dhavara Boutique Hotel
"Very good beutiful special"
RIJI HOTEL
"Stay afternoon before pickup a plane Great top swimming pool and helpful front desk"
City Garden Hotel
"Terrible hotel far from everything and no taxis or very difficult to find a taxi willing to take you anywhere. The room is very basic, old badly fitting windows and poor air conditioning. Our fridge didn’t work and staff had no English ability at all. In fact front desk when asked about anything such as local attractions or information just looked blank and totally clueless when asked something. It’s a Chinese hotel catering to Chinese tourists groups only. Even they had the good sense not to stay longer than one night. Garden City hotel is not in the city… and guest facilities are very very poor. Stay somewhere else. We very nearly did."
Grand Szechuan Hotel Vientiane
"A typical Chinese-style hotel. Please note that smoking is allowed everywhere in the hotel. If you’re traveling with children or you don’t smoke, it’s better to choose another place. English is not spoken here at all - I had to use a translator at the reception, and the staff member was clearly annoyed about having to stop playing on her phone to communicate with me. (To be fair, this isn’t just this hotel -in many hotels across Laos, staff often seem reluctant to interact with foreigners.) Overall, the hotel is fine for solo travelers. It’s quiet - despite some mentions of discos or KTV, there is nothing like that inside the hotel. There is only a massage/spa on the third floor - the music isn’t too loud, and it’s turned off around midnight. I can’t comment on the breakfast, as I wasn’t able to wake up early enough to try it. Also keep in mind that the café/restaurant inside the hotel does not operate in the evening, and the nearest shops are quite far away. Within the hotel, you can only buy water and cigarettes. The room itself is quite dirty, despite attempts to clean it: the walls are stained, and the floor is in very poor condition. However, the bedding is fresh and clean, and the bed is comfortable - it seems they do take care of that part. As I smoke and travel alone, I was personally fine with everything. However, others should consider carefully whether they’re comfortable staying in a Chinese-style hotel where smoking is allowed throughout."
Athens Hotel
"The hotel is tailored to Chinese. I checked in the hotel and it was a smoking room. I requested change to non smoking and they said I have to pay extra. The TV channel is all in Chinese. The gym facilities is not good."
Landmark Vientiane Life Center
A modern 4-star hotel in Vientiane, opened in 2023, featuring a rooftop pool with panoramic city views, a full-service spa and a fitness centre. Located within walking distance of shopping malls and local attractions.

Mintra Hotel Vientiane
"Great location, very friendly and helpful stuff, clean rooms and comfortable beds!"
Family Boutique Hotel
"The hotel is located near restaurants, food street and not too far from tourist attractions. It’s clean and breakfast is good. Hairdryer wasn’t provided but can be requested."
Nana Hotel
"The room was pretty good, quite spacious, clean, and hygienic. It was also very affordable."
LAOS WEI YE NA H0TEL
"The hotel's facilities and equipment are all very new. The smart toilet is very convenient to use. Most importantly, the rooms are kept very clean, which made me feel very safe during my stay. There is a famous Tiangong Bar nearby, which is only a seven or eight-minute walk away. After visiting the hotel, there is also 24-hour front desk security, so it is very safe!"
