The front desk service was excellent and quick, but the luggage service was absolutely terrible. We got to our room and had to wait an hour for our bags to arrive after five phone calls. The same thing happened at checkout; we waited an hour and a half for them to come take our bags down, which caused significant delays for us getting to the airport, all because of them.

Dear Trip.com Customer Support Team, I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding my recent stay at Mövenpick Hotel & Residence Hajar Tower Makkah, which was booked through your platform. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet the standards expected from a hotel of this category, nor the information confirmed prior to arrival. 1. Early Check-in Confirmation Not Honored Before my arrival, I received a message from the hotel requesting confirmation of my check-in time if it was before 12:00 PM. I confirmed this accordingly. However, upon arrival, I was informed that no room was available and was asked to wait until around 4:00 PM, under the pretext that this is the standard check-in time. This was both disappointing and exhausting, especially after travel, and contradicted the prior communication from the hotel. 2. Bathroom Plumbing Issue On the first day, I encountered a serious issue in the bathroom where water overflowed and accumulated, making it impossible to shower or even use the sink properly. Although the issue was eventually repaired, it significantly affected my comfort during the first day of my stay. 3. Repeated Unfulfilled Requests (Pillow and Blanket) I requested an extra pillow and blanket multiple times (at least four separate requests). Each time, I was assured that they would be delivered shortly, yet they never arrived. This reflects poor service follow-up and lack of coordination. 4. Incorrect Breakfast Restaurant Assignment At check-in, the reception staff encoded my room key with access to a breakfast restaurant that was extremely limited in size, overcrowded, and of noticeably low quality. Often, there were no available tables, forcing guests to wait. Every morning, hotel staff verified my eligibility to enter this restaurant. However, on the last day, a different employee informed me—unexpectedly—that my booking actually entitled me to access a higher-quality, more premium breakfast restaurant, which I immediately visited. This means I was wrongly deprived of the service level included in my booking for the majority of my stay. --- Considering all the above issues—miscommunication, delayed room availability, maintenance problems, poor service responsiveness, and incorrect service allocation—I believe this stay fell far below reasonable expectations. I kindly request that Trip.com review this matter and provide appropriate compensation for the inconvenience and service failures I experienced, whether in the form of a partial refund, Trip.com credit, or another suitable resolution. Had an amazing stay at this hotel! 🌟 The room was super clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay, making everything feel smooth and welcoming. The location was also perfect—easy access to nearby attractions, food spots, and transport. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices to start the day right. Definitely a great experience overall, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Will surely come back again! 😊

Price: Very cheap for a 4-star hotel. Good value for money. Location: Quite far, located in the an Naseem area, but like the vive there. Shuttle bus : very excellent and very punctual. Room: Overall okay, but the toilet is quite small. Breakfast: Has a good variety, but the menu is almost the same every day. I stayed for 7 nights and ended up eating nearly the same items daily. Staff: Generally okay, but there was a serious incident that affected my stay. One night, a bellman attempted to open my room door 2–3 times. Fortunately, I had engaged the inner lock, so he was unable to enter fully. He was accompanied by other outsiders, which was a clear breach of guest privacy and safety. I immediately made a complaint to the reception. They offered a room upgrade, but the room change process took a very long time. I waited from before Maghrib until after Isya, and eventually had to go to the reception myself to follow up. Wi-Fi: After changing to the new room, the Wi-Fi signal was very weak. I had to sit near the lift area just to get a stable and stronger internet connection, which was very inconvenient.

Al Ebaa have been our favourite hotel everytime we visited the Holy Mecca. The location was very strategic. Its just a 6 mins walk to reach Masjidil Haram. However, bear in mind that there were steep hill road you have to walk to reach Haram. The hotel were really clean, smell good. We reach early in the morning, the check in process was really smooth. I recommended you to add breakfast cause it was fantastic.

Clean and tidy hotel. The reception staff were extremely cooperative and ethical. The only issues were weak internet and connectivity. Basement parking spots were crowded, but there was plenty of outdoor parking available. There are buses to the Haram.

From a price perspective, the cost is very competitive and personally affordable for me. The location is far from the Grand Mosque (Masjidil Haram), so transportation is necessary. There is a hotel shuttle bus service to the Haram. The shuttle buses run on time, so do not expect the bus to return for guests who are left behind. It is a relaxed 10-minute walk from the bus stop to the Haram. I highly recommend this hotel. Thank you.

Excellent hotel with great service and a nice breakfast. Highly recommended! Compared to other hotels, this offers the best value for money. However, the location is on a hill, which may be difficult for elderly guests to access.

We booked Emaar Grand and our confirmation said so, which is a 4star hotel however upon checking in, we were told our hotel is across the road at their sister hotel called Emaar Manar. This was 2,3 start hotel. When I showed the confirmation and it clearly showed we had booked Emaar Grand they refused and told us to check in their sister hotel across the road. They said they were fully booked. This is disappointing as we booked months in advance for these dates.

Facilities: Average Cleanliness: Average Ambiance: Average Service: Average In Mecca, the location is good. There's a supermarket and bus stops downstairs, making it convenient for getting around.
