Guest UserThe yurt's decor is distinctly Mongolian, spacious, and boasts a stable Wi-Fi signal, shattering my preconceived notions about the basic conditions of grassland accommodations. Its location is superb, surrounded by expansive grasslands, perfect for leisurely strolls and photo opportunities – every shot is a masterpiece. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful; any needs are readily addressed, and they even thoughtfully shared information about nearby less-known viewpoints. At night, lying in the yurt and gazing at the starry sky through the skylight creates an immersive atmosphere. It's a one-stop shop for all your needs – food, accommodation, and activities – and I highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to the grasslands!

The hotel is located deep in the grassland, with an endless expanse of grassland right in front of you. The rooms are clean and hygienic, and each has a private bathroom, which is very convenient. The owners, a husband and wife, are very welcoming. I suggest that friends who come here bring warm clothes. Highly recommended, this place is great!

Anonymous UserI went to the front desk to check in, but the air conditioner was not turned on. I was sweating from the heat. They told me that the air cooler was on, but it made a sound like a tractor and it wasn't cool at all. Merchants, please be more careful. Small hotels all have air conditioners, but such a good hotel is wasted. Can your boss afford to open a hotel but not afford air conditioning? The hotel's soundproofing is also poor, the service is pretty good, the girl serving tea and water, it seemed like their manager even apologized to me, but I have to give this bad review. It was such a hot day, 37 degrees, and when I went in I only heard the roar of hauling garbage. I was speechless. I won't come back again. It's not a good experience.

happy320109It is one of the few unconditional pet-friendly hotels in Baotou. I like it and hope to have this business all the time. The room is a suite, very bright, each room has air conditioning and TV, so it is very good not to disturb each other. There is an exclusive parking lot in the backyard, and there are also staff on duty, very safe. The hotel is equipped with a laundry room for guests to wash and dry. Opposite is the People's Park, exercise and walking dogs are good choices. The staff is very hospitable, take the initiative to say hello, and the security guard is also very talkative. There are many restaurants around, and the clerk recommended our Jiuqu Hotel, which is really delicious. I recommend everyone, especially people who bring pets to travel to check in the hotel.

Silas. You can take a bike ride in the morning near the grassland in the city. This is very convenient. The room is relatively large and there is an elevator. Convenient transportation, food nearby. Have the opportunity to stay again. .

Guest UserI brought my family to Xilamuren Grassland this time and we stayed at the Saibei Inn. The inn is right on the grassland, so stepping out, you're greeted by endless plains. The view is incredibly open and the air is fresh. In the mornings and evenings, you can enjoy a cool breeze, which is really refreshing. The room was spotlessly clean, the bedding tidy, and all the basic amenities were provided, making for a comfortable stay. Both the owner and staff were very warm and genuine, always willing to help when needed. It's also very convenient for sightseeing around; horseback riding and other grassland activities are all nearby. You can even enjoy the grassland nightscape in the evening. We had a great experience with both the food and accommodation here. I highly recommend this place to anyone planning a trip to the grasslands.

Nice stay, food is available for morning, lunch, dinner
extra activities:
- go kart
- horse riding
- dancing and singing from locals during lunch/dinner
a performance show available close to here, the owner can sell you the tickets for 140 instead of 280 from the ticket office.
sometimes you don’t have warm water, so it might be a bit difficult during winter.

The boss is very enthusiastic. Now the temperature difference in the grassland is very big. It is very cold at night. There are electric blankets in the yurt. The quilt is also very thick. It is better to have hot water to wash. It is convenient for the boss to pick it up. I will come to the grassland in the future. Come to this place, in short, the experience is great

Here's the updated review with that additional context:
Full Version
We had a wonderful stay, largely thanks to one of the owners who went out of their way to organize activities for us and made our experience truly memorable. The dinner and show were fantastic—featuring original-style Mongolian traditional dance and singing that felt authentic and captivating. Both lunch and dinner were excellent, and we were especially impressed by the Lamb Bao served at breakfast. Overall, the service and warmth from the people were genuinely good.
That said, all the costs were quite expensive compared to what I'm used to after living and traveling in China for more than 10 years. I would recommend the horse riding off the main area, as they suggest, but the Happy Ranch was not that fulfilling—most of the rides and activities there weren't worth the time or money. That's an external activity though, so no discredit to the hotel itself. While we didn't end up using the actual amenities, the hospitality and cultural performance alone made the visit worthwhile.
Balanced Short Version (Google/TripAdvisor):
Great experience thanks to one of the owners, who personally organized activities for us. The dinner and show were a highlight—original Mongolian traditional dance and singing that was unique and impressive. Food was excellent at all meals, especially the Lamb Bao at breakfast, and the staff were genuinely warm. Costs were quite high compared to what I'm used to after 10+ years in China. I recommend the horse riding off the main area as suggested, but the Happy Ranch activities weren't worth the time or money—though that's external, not the hotel's fault. Didn't use the actual hotel amenities, but the hospitality and performance were good.

Guest UserOur experience was truly memorable! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with horse wine and traditional music, which set the tone for the trip. The check-in process was seamless, and the staff were exceptionally friendly, offering us a variety of activities right away.
Shortly after arrival, we went horseback riding through the beautiful fields. Following that, we visited a nearby area with an array of activities like tea tasting, dressing up in traditional Mongolian clothing, archery, and viewing livestock. There was also an option to watch a horse riding show, but we decided to skip it as we were a bit tired.
The room was cozy, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Even though it was cold outside, the heating kept the space warm, making it a perfect retreat after a long day of activities. It added a charming touch to the overall experience.
In the evening, there was a large yurt on the premises where we enjoyed an authentic Mongolian dinner accompanied by a captivating live show. The night ended with fireworks, a bonfire, and more entertainment, making it a truly unforgettable experience.
I highly recommend this place if you want a well-organized and immersive experience. Even though we don’t speak Chinese, communication was never an issue, and we always felt welcomed. A big thank you to the team for taking such great care of us!
