Stayed in Building B, Deluxe Suite Ocean View, 3rd floor. The room was indeed beautiful and comfortable, but starting from 9 or 10 AM, extremely loud music with heavy bass made it impossible to sleep.
We had already paid for the airport transfer when booking. Before checking in, we communicated via messages that we would be changing hotels after checkout and not leaving Phu Quoc. (I thought we could take the shuttle to the airport and then head to our next hotel ourselves.) However, they insisted that I provide a flight number to arrange the shuttle. Later, they told me to arrange the timing with the front desk upon check-in.
When I checked in, I asked the front desk if we could be dropped off at our next hotel instead of the airport since it was along the way. They said OK, and there was no need to arrange the time in advance—we could confirm it on the checkout day. However, it turned out they were referring to the free VinBus, not the hotel's paid shuttle service that I had already paid for. The front desk staff at check-in completely misled us, and as a result, we were unable to use the hotel shuttle.
We noticed that the door lock kept beeping, and our keycard couldn’t open the door. We asked a hotel staff member to report the issue, assuming it would be fixed by the time we returned. However, when we got back at night, the problem was still there. I had to walk to the front desk again, and it seemed like no one had addressed our request, meaning it had been completely ignored. Finally, they helped us enter the room and told us the door lock battery was low and could only be fixed the next day.
We ordered room service for a late-night snack, but by early morning, I had diarrhea, and my girlfriend was vomiting. I was left completely drained and unable to continue our itinerary. When we reported this suspected food poisoning incident at checkout, the front desk simply said, ”Okay, we will pass on the message,” and that was it. No apology, no compensation.
Only the exterior looks five-star, but everything else fails miserably.
Overall hotel is good but was expecting a bigger pool and is a bit far from airport.
Like that members get food discounts.
It would be good to have some music in the pool area and more activities like canoeing, kayaking or snorkelling and pool table if appropriate.
We recently stayed at a villa accommodating three families with five kids, and it was a fantastic experience! Here are some highlights:
- **Spacious Rooms**: The four-room villa was incredibly spacious, allowing everyone to have their own space while still enjoying family time together.
- Cleanliness: The villa was spotless upon our arrival, which made us feel right at home.
- Private Pool: The kids had a blast at the private pool. It was the perfect place for them to have fun and cool off during the hot days.
- Friendly staff: The property was easy to navigate with a buggy, making it convenient for the little ones.
- Breakfast Variety: The breakfast spread was impressive, offering a wide range of options that catered to everyone's tastes.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this villa for families looking for a fun and relaxing getaway!

We had a very pleasant stay at Vinpearl Resort. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and efficient.
Our hotel room was spacious and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. The pool and beach areas were large and well-maintained. A small but thoughtful gesture was that the resort provided three balls for us to play with in the swimming pool—this was a big hit with the kids!
The kids’ playroom offered some engaging activities that kept our little ones entertained.
Breakfast had a good variety and tasted great. While we didn’t get their names, we noticed that some staff members were especially attentive and welcoming, which added to the experience.
Out of the three hotels we stayed at during our trip, Vinpearl definitely gave us the best staycation vibe, with the pool, beach, and theme park all conveniently nearby.
The free shuttle bus service was very helpful, although it’s worth noting that the bus tends to leave exactly on schedule (sometimes even within a minute), so it’s easy to miss it and end up needing to book a Grab instead.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would consider coming back again!
During our recent 2 nights stay at the Sheraton Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort, we booked both a 4-bedroom Garden View Villa and a Twin Balcony Ocean View room.
The villa itself was impressively spacious and boasted a lovely ambience, although we did notice signs of its age. In particular, the curtain in the upstairs bedroom had come loose, and the balcony gate could not be opened. That said, we still found the accommodation generally comfortable and enjoyable.
We were quite impressed by the buffet breakfast, as it offered an abundance of dishes and the food quality was excellent. However, the receptionist at the restaurant appeared inadequately trained. On one morning, instead of checking whether any tables were available on the first floor, she directed us upstairs to the second floor. When we insisted on remaining on the first floor, we were obliged to wait for roughly 10 minutes despite the presence of numerous empty tables. This lapse in organisation was disappointing and suggested that the restaurant’s management could benefit from additional oversight or coaching.
On our final day, we requested a one-hour late check-out, and the receptionist (lady) was both gracious and efficient in accommodating this request. Regrettably, we encountered a problem when our room key stopped working at 12:45pm. Upon returning to reception to resolve the issue, another staff member — identified as a guy “Thuan” who addressed us in a noticeably impolite manner. His abrupt comments relating to the number of key cards provided were unexpected and created an unnecessarily tense situation. Such conduct seemed incongruous with the typically high standards one would expect at a five-star resort. Additionally, we attempted to ring the “Guest Service” line to request a buggy from our villa, only to find that no one answered. This was a minor inconvenience, though it did add to the sense that some elements of the hotel’s service could be improved.
Nevertheless, in general, the Sheraton made a favourable impression, and the facilities remained otherwise pleasant. With a focus on further training for the staff — particularly those at the restaurant and the front desk. It has the potential to provide a consistently excellent hospitality experience.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The property is impeccably clean, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Its location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach, making it incredibly convenient for some seaside fun.
The highlight for me was the large pool, which was perfect for relaxing and spending quality time with my family. Another fantastic feature is the free Kids Café – a wonderful space where kids can enjoy themselves, adding an extra touch of thoughtfulness for families.
The staff were incredibly positive and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. To top it all off, the price was very affordable, offering great value for the amenities provided. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a family-friendly and budget-friendly stay near the beach!
location is good, few mins walk to the beach, and few mins walk to the Grand World Nightly Light show place, where many shops and restaurants are there.
There is free bus ride, Vinbus from airport to the hotel and also stops at the city centre. You can save some Grab money there.
Facilities, Standard swimming pool and there are some staff oeganizing water polo games for hotel guests to join. they are fantastic. The slide is right there, but didnt open during my stay, a bit disappointed
the things i dont like was that too many people smoked around the pool, which i felt very uncomfortable.
The breakfast was fine, but there were so many people and staff were not able to keep the place clean. Please hire more staff.
To conclude, the stay was fine, and it is value for money.
I recently stayed at Holiday Fiesta Lake in Phu Quoc, Vietnam with my family, and it was a comfortable and enjoyable experience. We had booked a room for three people, and everything was well-prepared for our arrival.
The service was commendable — the staff was polite and responsive to our needs. The room amenities were up to the mark, clean and convenient, and the swimming pool was a highlight, especially for relaxing in the evenings.
One suggestion for improvement would be to have a dedicated help desk near the reception to guide tourists about local attractions and transport options. That would make exploring Phu Quoc even easier for new visitors.
Overall, I would definitely recommend Holiday Fiesta Lake to anyone planning a trip to Phu Quoc. It offers a pleasant stay with good facilities and a welcoming environment.
We arrived very late on the day. The children are very happy when enter the room until there is one room the air-con is broken and on top of that one of the bed have sand inside. The worst is day after the room service the other bed have sand and they only make bed don’t change the bedding for the room service.
The some of the new towels smell of smoke, so becareful when using them. I think just my room I come across like 3. But I don’t know about other.
Room service will take 1 hr which is quite standard.
The water from the villa maybe is from a tank above the building, I constantly can smell and taste mud from the water, and hot water will run out it everyone use the shower at the same time.
There is an accident that they sent us to wrong breakfast area, which is fine but they don’t immediately sent us back to the right one, and let us wait for another buggy.
Hair conditioner is run out just after 3 nights (one 1 used it, which mean they didn’t check up and refill)
Generally the hotel quality is around 3 stars. However their room services respond very fast. They fix the aircon overnight (even is quite noisy but I think they should make sure the room is okay before the guest arrival) They come in very quickly if you request towels/water. Just the quality is not 5 stars. If you don’t ask them they will not provide you. As for bedding I think they come with sand that why even the replacement still have sand.
Excellent hotel! I liked it very much, I recommend it to everyone! Everything is new and clean. The hotel itself is small, there are not many people.
Breakfasts are good, there is a variety, our favorite pho bo too)) you can order fried eggs or an omelet. Breakfasts are until 9:00, but we usually came at 9, there was still food, there were guests who came later and ate until 10, no one cleaned anything, everyone was expected. Very nice staff, cleaning every day 👍 the girls at the reception are the best! ❤️ always prompted, helped, beauties, clever girls, keep it up 🤗
Of the minuses, perhaps, we met cockroaches in the room, one small, one giant 👀 a slipper solved the problem, but not very pleasant 😅 maybe because we had food. But we also ate in other hotels.
And another minus, this is the bed, it seems new, but it creaks all over, it is even impossible to turn from side to side at night. It was room 401.
And we also couldn't get our bearings for a long time and find the hotel, it shows differently on all the maps. And the buildings are all similar, so we got a little lost. 90% of the buildings are empty and they are not marked on the maps, but in fact everything is built up. The hotel itself is a 5-minute walk from the free bus stop.
At the reception we later found a QR code for searching in Google. I will attach a photo. Otherwise, I liked everything very much. Good luck to you🤟

Outstanding
SSul SakuraiSuddenly - the hosts of the hotel are Russian! Very good and Russian-speaking))) gave a lot of advice. Helped with the exchange of money. Prepared the plums that I slept) in general good people.
Hotel itself:
A great location - sea in 5 minutes walk, near shops, cafes. The area where the evening show takes place at the corner in two minutes walk. In the hotel itself, you can order breakfast and buy drinks at a price as in the shop.
The rooms are clean, the repair is fresh. There is a teapot and everything you need. If you want, you can cook in the common kitchen on the first floor - there is a stove, microwave and dishes.
EEvgeniyaKThe location is excellent, the staff is very attentive, courteous, responds to any request, there are breakfasts, very cheap, transfer at the hotel, at a very nice price. Everything is clean in the room, there is a balcony. Large shower. You can take an excursion to vin world and safari with a discount. There are many shops nearby, Venice, a park across the road. The only negative is the lack of an elevator, the floor was 4)) but this did not spoil the impressions of the stay. They helped lift and lower the suitcases. We will definitely add to favorites!!!
GGuest UserHad an absolutely excellent and memorable stay at in Grand World Phu Quoc! The complimentary airport transfer service was incredibly convenient and greatly appreciated, making arrival and departure seamless. The hotel's prime location is perfect for easily exploring all the attractions within Grand World. Service was consistently top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff. Highly recommend this hotel for a truly hassle-free, comfortable, and enjoyable trip!
MMy name is jayjayThe room is spacious, the bed is soft, the facilities are complete, the room is clean, the water is strong, the service is good, the accommodation is near the Bear Museum, the gondola ride point, not far to walk, there are shops, restaurants and minimarts around the accommodation, quiet, not crowded, there is a free bus line 17/19 from the airport to Grand World, very convenient.
YYann FungThis is a good resort, just off the Grandworld trail.
Friends who like nature and tranquility can choose here. The breakfast in the morning is also very diverse and the taste is very authentic. Basically, you can stay here for a whole day.
The resort is a little older but very clean. There are bonsai flowers and coconut trees planted around it, and there is a dedicated person cleaning it early in the morning.
The Resort provides free shuttle service to the bus station, making it very convenient to go anywhere on Phu Quoc Island.
It also provides chartered boats for 1-4 people to go to Turtle Island in 2 hours for a very reasonable and cheap fee.
The boss is very nice and can communicate in English.
If you like to convey tranquility and feel one with nature, this is a good choice.
GGuest UserGood hotel, helpful staff, located at the beginning of the Grand Ward between two bus stations, you will have to walk to the beach for 10-12 minutes, and right on the beach there are two cafes where I recommend having lunch
효효돌이It's a great place to stay for a great price in Grand World. ㅎㅎ
I'll stay cheaply.
It's inside Grand World, so you can tour around on foot.
There's a free shuttle from the nearby Bin Bus Terminal to the night market or the airport.
The staff at the accommodation were friendly.
