Amazing place to stay - 5 star luxury with great service. Breakfast and pool were both amazing! They also have shuttles down to their beachfront restaurants and beach club. The pool is open 24/7 which is really awesome.
Every room opens up to the pool and feels like a mini Villa. Good gym. Great value for quality spa too - make sure to book in advance as it’s not the biggest spa with only 3 masseuses.
This time during the Chinese New Year, I saw direct flights and decisively chose Phuket. Since I only booked two nights, the hotel did not provide airport transfers. According to the guide, it seemed that three nights would be available. Waiting for the bus on the road, the traffic jam somewhat affected my mood, but when I arrived at the hotel, I saw the front desk staff welcoming me with smiles on their faces, and the bad mood was swept away. Aman's service decision was the ceiling. When I arrived in the room, I was very moved when I saw the layout of the room (I informed Ctrip in advance that it was an anniversary and I hoped to get the layout). Everywhere you go in the hotel, there will be staff greeting you with a smile, and they will find out any of your needs in a timely manner. There are no service staff who can speak Chinese in the hotel. It is a bit laborious to order in English, but it does not affect communication at all. The hotel has its own beach with very fine sand. We borrowed the hotel's snorkeling tools and boats to have fun. When you are tired, you can read and relax on the beach. There is also a special kidsclub for children. Just put your children there (over four years old), and the staff inside will be very patient and play with them. It is really a standard holiday feature.
Lovely hotel, great location, delicious food and the staff were so kind to us. We will definitely be back again! The beach (surin beach) is right beside the hotel and is nice and quiet, very suitable for families. The area also has nice restaurants and 711, which has just about everything you need!

Our 2-night stay at Mida Grande was average.
We had booked a room with a Jacuzzi but it had some green algae at the bottom so we didn’t use it. The bed cover was not clean and had some stains so we asked housekeeping to come around to change it. Since it rained a lot on the first day, we ordered room service and the food was just so-so and it took a while for green curry and pineapple fried rice to come but the person was nice.
The room felt like a serviced apartment, the bed was comfortable and it was a quiet room. The hotel doesn’t seem to have many guests and those we saw were mostly Russian families.
Breakfast was okay with enough selection including an egg station. There is a Starbucks at the lobby. Location is not ideal but fine if you have a rental scooter. Also, the layout of the hotel was strange and you need to walk along paths and lots of stairs to get to other buildings for the gym, restaurant, etc.
My wife and I loved this resort. The service was amazing, everyone was so friendly and everything was done with a lot of thought. We arrived at the resort at 12am in the night and they had prepared some complimentary food for us because the restaurant closes at 11pm. The location is just amazing for a resort, they have their own private beach. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had, they got both the buffet option and also an a la carte buffet menu. I normally hate hotel breakfasts but this one was just too good. We had dinner at their Beach Restaurant and it was amongst some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had.
To top it off there is a really smart and friendly cat that roams the hill side. We loved her so much, we’ll definitely have to come back to see her.
What a beautiful find ! Set high on the hill of the main road yet with breathtaking views and quiet . Our views from the room and sitting on the balcony were spectacular. The hotel is slightly older but well maintained, the rooms are big beds are comfortable, smart tvs , housekeeping everyday and roof top pool. This hotel has direct access to the beach down some stairs. The local food places , coffee shops ,7-11 massage etc is a little walk away ( about 15-20mins) much easier with transport. We wanted to extend our 5 night stay for much longer but unfortunately the hotel is doing renovations and closing for few weeks. Would definitely stay here again 😍
The hotel is nice and clean. There is a roof top swimming pool with a sea view, a cafeteria and a gym. All is functioning from 8 am to 8 pm. The household service is a little slow to deliver what you need. If you call the reception and ask for something you have to remind them about it several times. The towels that had been changed on the second day of our stay were clean but stained and smelled vinegar. These are actually little things. The location is good - the hotel is relatively close to Surin beach, only 10 min on foot and there are outside restaurants, convenience stores and massage salons also within walking distance. The hotel staff is friendly and the overall impression of our staying there is good.
Absolutely impressed with the hospitality team. I am not easy to please as I review hotels for the last 10 years and this hotel is great value for money. Our flight landed early and I did not expect our rooms to be ready and they were. We paid more for the room of our choice and got an upgrade which was a nice surprise. The spa is excellent that we had massages upon arrival and before leaving Phuket. Breakfast is a small but decent spread with basics of western and Thai dishes. The restaurant is seriously underrated. Our friends had lunch there and took us back for dinner and the oysters, ceviche, BBQ pork were delicious. The team speaks English and are very polite and helpful.
Full disclosure: Would love the pillows to be a little more sturdy as we melted into it but they were so nice to give us another. The beach is just across the hotel but it's not connected.
Nice apartments, beautiful design, amazing 50 meter pool, convenient location, 5-7 minutes to the sea at a leisurely pace. Furniture and walls are a bit worn out, water in the shower drains slowly, maybe I was just lucky, because I stayed for only 3 days.
Someone occasionally appears at the reception, but when checking in they left their WhatsApp and it was possible to keep in touch. They clean well, put water, take out the wort. There are dishes, cutlery, frying pans.
In general, the holiday in Surin left only positive impressions)
I had a great stay! The hotel was very clean and comfortable, and the location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach. The lady at the front desk was extremely helpful and kind, which made the experience even better. The room was spotless, and I really enjoyed the restaurant—delicious food and a nice atmosphere. Thank you for a lovely stay!

GGuest UserA huge plus of these apartments is the location, 5-7 minutes to Surin beach at a slow pace, next to a cheap Audi cafe with European and Thai cuisine and a Tops minimarket. On the downside, it's time to renovate; the furniture and plumbing are already outdated. Overall we are pleased with these apartments, we stayed for three days.
GGuest UserRest in this hotel in February. The room is small (taken with a separate bedroom, but I never understood what we gave), two of us quite normal, a family of 3 people I think too will be normal, more - already tight. The biggest plus - there is a washing machine, a refrigerator. There is a furnace but we haven't even used it. 2 air conditioner. After the end of the stay, the fee is 1000 Batt for clinking and 8 Batt for kilowatt electricity. It was in the conditions, no surprises in this matter. Over 13 nights 12 days we had a electricity fee for 1032 Batt. Also on settlement it is necessary to leave a pledge of $200 or 5000 Batt.
The location of the hotel is very good. In step-to-step availability the beautiful beach of Suren and Bang-Tao, at your choice. We liked Suren more, it is a little closer, minutes 5-7 walking.
There is a swimming pool on the roof of the hotel, a small gym. Staff speaks English
