Hotels in Rawai Beach, Phuket

I had a wonderful stay here and was very impressed with the overall experience. The reception staff were friendly, welcoming, and always greeted us with a smile. 😊 The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with a surprisingly large bathroom. The atmosphere was also peaceful and quiet, making it a great place to relax. Housekeeping cleaned the room every day, and all the essential amenities were provided. The breakfast was delicious. Although the selection was not very large, the quality was good, and considering the price of the stay, it was definitely great value for money. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience and was really impressed with the service, cleanliness, comfort, and peaceful atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable stay.

Pros: 1. Room cleaning: The service was excellent and efficient. Rooms were cleaned both in the morning and evening. If the 'do not disturb' sign was on all day, a note was left under the door. 2. Breakfast: Whether we went at 7 AM or 11 AM, there was always a full spread. Fresh pastries, egg dishes, etc. Nothing extraordinary, but you definitely won't leave hungry. 3. Hotel app: You can do everything through it – book spa appointments, request towels, order cocktails by the pool, and more. 4. Pools: They are fantastic, with a very comfortable temperature and always few people. Cons: 1. Some design genius decided it would be a great idea to put a glass partition from the bathroom directly next to the bed (see photo). Am I wrong in assuming that if I were on vacation with my parents, for example, I'd have to lie in bed and watch my mom or dad showering? 2. One evening, we had a power outage (affecting the entire hotel). It lasted about 5 hours. While power was restored to many other hotel buildings after 2 hours, ours remained without electricity. This was late at night, and it was impossible to sleep because the air conditioning wasn't working. I called reception and even went there in person multiple times that night, only to hear excuses that the power would be back on in 10-20 minutes. Ultimately, we didn't get a room where we could sleep until 2 AM! Essentially, I spent half the night trying to resolve this issue with hotel staff. 3. Insects: The hotel is located in a green area, and they do treat the premises for insects. However, the entrance doors have several-centimeter gaps where geckos would crawl in (see photo). Also, the air conditioning unit has an open connection to the outside, allowing a large American cockroach to fly in, which we couldn't get rid of. After our complaints, we were given an electric fumigator, then moved to another room, but found another gecko inside. It wasn't until the third room (around 2 AM) that we found one free of insects. 4. The hotel is undergoing renovations. While details are provided in the app and it didn't really bother anyone, a part of the spa was closed when I wanted to use it. Regarding the location: We left the hotel every day and always had to call a taxi. However, I can't call this a 'con' because we knew about it beforehand and deliberately sought a quiet hotel (which it truly is – quiet and peaceful).

This hotel boasts an excellent location. The Rawai Pier is just a short walk to the right, and the seafood market is to the left. We upgraded from a three-bedroom to a six-bedroom villa, which we were quite happy with. What impressed me most was how quickly the owner resolved any issues – a big shout-out to the very nice owner! The villa also offers a convenient shuttle service, though it's actually not a far walk anyway.

This is an excellent hotel, and its location is great if you're not a first-time visitor to the island and are familiar with its different areas. It's roughly centered between Chalong and Rawai. The hotel is a good fit for those coming to the island for active pursuits like diving, rather than for a beach holiday, as the nearest swimmable beach isn't particularly close. Ideally, having a scooter or car would be best for comfortable travel from the hotel to any spot on the island. The room itself is very spacious, equipped with everything you need for your stay, including a large kitchen, a huge refrigerator, a washing machine, all necessary utensils, plates, and kettles. The hotel also boasts two comfortable swimming pools, each with convenient, soft loungers (cabanas) nearby. I really enjoyed everything and highly recommend it!

The staff are great. Overall, if you take a walk and explore the whole area, it's out of this world. It's clear the owners put a lot of thought into every little detail. The only downside was the underground parking, which had a 30-40 degree ramp. I almost hit a pillar trying to get out because my car felt like it only had 50 horsepower. Ended up immediately re-parking on the street.

The service was excellent. The staff kept the building clean, the breakfast buffet team was great and the atmosphere was amazing. The only things I didn’t enjoy was how understaffed the beach bar seemed because we had to constantly ask when our food would be finished because it was taking so long. I assumed it was understaffed in the kitchen. Ask the lobster bruschetta was not actually lobster, but shrimp. Unsure if it’s a language barrier thing or they stopped using lobster for it and just didn’t change the menu to reflect that. It tasted great, but perhaps the price would be different if it was labeled what it actually was. The room was so nice and clean! Cleaning ladies came by daily and every single person working there was unbelievably friendly and kind. I will most definitely go back just for the hotel alone! The hotel close to everything, including many different beaches. One thing to keep in mind, even though the hotel is on a beach front, you can’t swim in that particular beach, but they do have a pool on site! 10/10 🤩

Spacious and Comfortable Common Area: Features a large sofa, perfect for lounging or watching TV together, ideal for gatherings and group activities. Relaxing Homely Atmosphere: Friendly ambiance with a large TV for watching movies or favorite shows together, and a central table for snacks and drinks. Well-Proportioned Rooms: Clear glass partitions create an open and airy feel, looking through to the bedroom area, preventing the room from feeling cramped or stuffy.

This is a good, secluded hotel. All the guesthouses and the main building face the pool. The bed is very large, and the mattress is firm, but that's typical for Thailand. I asked for two extra pillows, and they brought them right away. Housekeeping is by request: if you hang the sign, they'll clean; if not, don't expect it. If your room isn't cleaned daily, you can ask for water at reception. The room is large, with a small kitchen area, microwave, kettle, and sink. There's also a balcony with a drying rack. Overall, it's very good for Thailand. The pool is cleaned daily, and it doesn't smell strongly of chlorine. The only downside is a limited number of sun loungers. As for the surrounding area: just around the corner to the left, there's a 7/11 open 24/7, a fruit stand, plenty of massage places, and cafes. Getting to the sea requires a motorbike, as it's a 5km walk in the heat. All in all, a good hotel.

This stay was absolutely perfect! The actual accommodation looked exactly like the photos, with no disappointing discrepancies at all. I especially loved their pool; the water was deep enough, and the kids were so happy they swam in the morning and insisted on swimming again in the evening! The kitchen was also incredibly well-equipped, providing everything from a microwave to various pots, pans, and utensils, which made our stay incredibly convenient. We stayed for six consecutive nights, and when it was time to check out, we were truly reluctant to leave. The memories from this trip were wonderful, and we'll definitely stay here again next time if we have the chance!
