Don't go there. This property must not be listed as a hotel or resort. It's filthy and not maintained at all. I was manipulated to stay there and I regret every bit of it. Location is quite far from lakeside. It's in some residential location. The video which will be sent to you is shot perfectly to hide all the things. All the doors are broken, the electric plugs are broken, towels are like foot rags (filthy). There is constant bad smell in the rooms. There is dampness all around, everywhere. Filthy, broken & not maintained.

Absolutely awful experience, threadbare towels with holes in them, dripping toilet and sink keep you up all night, everything tired, dusty, dirty and not maintained. The owner is extremely rude and will charge extras to your bill without ever mentioning the cost at the time of use. On arrival no remote in room for heating/ac which meant a freezing night, a filthy duvet cover which I refused to use, uncleaned rooms and toilets, a fridge that I doubt has ever been cleaned, black mould growing on the ensuite window curtain, no backup generator for the frequent power cuts, a warped entrance door to apt. that doesn't close properly and only one of two bolts that can be closed giving a lack of security. When I asked if he could fire up the generator as I had a fridge full of food which would spoil he told me it was broken. I asked why he didn't fix it and was faced with a torrent of abuse and rudeness and then told that he didn't need my business and to pack my bags and go at 9.30am. When I had found alternative accommodation and packed my bags he refused to let me leave and said that I had to pay for that night as I had stayed past the check out time which was never notified to me and does not appear on any signage or paperwork. When I looked at the room and made the booking a week before arriving I was told I could do my laundry using their washing machine. On arrival it turned out to be broken. I asked how to do my laundry and was told to give it to the staff who would do it. No mention of any cost. I've now been presented with a bill for laundry in addition. Dreadful place, dreadful owners and management, absolute liars and charlatans who only want your money. Dirty kitchen with no hot running water, no washing up liquid, and dirty plates and cups routinely left in the sink. Having told me to leave today, a Saturday, when the banks are closed he now produces a bill including tonight when I am not staying here, laundry, and when i questioned it was subjected to another tirade. Currently being held prisoner as he refuses to let me leave with my luggage. I've explained HE asked me to leave on a Saturday and I cannot settle his bill until tmrw when I can go to the bank. He refuses to let me leave and now wants me to stay tonight so he can bill me!!!! Avoid at all costs. Filthy, rude, unmaintaned, and very poor value for money. Much cheaper, cleaner and better accommodation available.

Before visiting kathmandu, I stayed here at Katero. I am a plants enthusiast and the greenery here at katero is really beautiful. The rooms were clean and staff Laxman was very nice to me. The food was also very nice. Main street of lakeside is also very near so it is easy to go anywhere in Pokhara.

In the heart of lake side area, the feelings of staying in a farm house gave the most exciting ambience for me. I would recommend people to enjoy your vacation with family, friends or official trips for relax stay. Regards, Rudra Mani Koirala
