The Mountain House is a great place with lovely owners. Every year I stay a couple of days in their beautiful hotel where they now also serve breakfast if you want. Inside or outside in their beautiful garden. Rooms are big and very clean! For me it feels every time a bit like coming home.

I am truly so happy that we found this place! The family who runs the hotel are superstars: Always ready to help with anything you might need and so welcoming. We ended up staying there for over 2 weeks, and still, didnt really want to leave to be honest. Very clean rooms, cozy beds and the location was great: close to everything but still a bit from main street so you can get a goodnights sleep whitout the noice. If I ever go back to Nepal and Pokhara, I will go back to this hotel for sure!

Stan an Indira are the owners. I have visited Mountain Guesthouse I have stayed there 7 times. Alone, with two groups (11 and 17 people,) with my son and his family (wife, children, 12 and 7) and with my grandaughter, 23. Kids love til stay there. You can enjoy exelent breakfast outside or inside. You can see Fishtail Mountains right in front of you. If you need or have problems with plane-tickets. If you need a guide for Phokara and for the mountains, they will help. They are ready, when you have problems. Day and night. the live in the house. Mountain Guesthouse is a quiert area, but i in five minutes you are in the the main street with shops of all kinds, restaurants, massage-shops and the beatiful lake with the the small boats and the view to the Peace pagode.

What a lovely family! They are so warm, so friendly, always smiling. It was a true pleasure. They also organise tours and other activities. There are great views from every floor. The hotel is spotless and the location is quiet and convenient.

All the rave reviews are spot on. The family that runs this hotel couldn't be more kind and responsible. They go above and beyond in hospitality. The place is clean well lit..great location amazing price great hot water and Wi-Fi....which is not a given in Nepal...sound does carry a bit but I think that is most buildings in Nepal. I highly recommend this hotel.

This wonderful family run hotel is centrally located 2 minutes walk from shops, bars and restaurants, and 5 minutes from the beautiful Fewa lake. However, the most amazing thing about this hotel is the family. Stan, Indira and their son Nabin are the most helpful , friendly and kind people you could wish to meet. They organised hotels, transport, guides and everything in between. They represent everything good about their fabulous country and I do feel I left as a friend. Thank you.

Great place to stay! We only stayed for a short time (3nights) but were so impressed by this place! The staff were super helpful and friendly, always asking how we were and if we needed anything. They also stored our excess luggage while we went on a four day hike! We stayed in the private double room, the rooms were very clean, the beds were comfy and the bathrooms were great, with good hot water showers! They even have a yoga space on the 4th floor which I thoroughly enjoyed using. Thank-you staff, we’ll be back!

The hotel is cosy and clean. The room was big and had a comfy bed. This accommodation is well located in Lakeside, but quiet enough for a peaceful stay. The couple who run it are very nice. Would definitely go back!

We had a fantastic stay at Mountain view. So much so we booked rooms there before and after our trek for the duration of our stay pokhara. The rooms are spacious, very clean and comfortable with large open showers and hot water. The hotel is located about 5 mins walk off the main street so its a perfect location without the noise. This is a family run hotel and Stan Indria and Nabin are wonderful hosts. They are gracious and always willing to help or just chat. For dog lovers they have a small quiet dog who loves to play and is adorable. Highly recommend staying here.
