The hotel has an excellent location on the seafront. Convenient location to Bushmills, Dunluce, Giant’s Causeway and many other North Coast attractions. Staff were exceptional. We ate in the restaurant on one night and had a very good meal. Breakfast offers you a buffet with a hot food selection too. Would recommend a front room, or you will overlook the car park.

If you are looking for a fabulous hotel in this part of Northern Ireland, then this is it!!! The room we had, had amazing views and with everything we needed!!! Food in the restarant is great, and all the staff go the extra mile!!! We can't wait to go back, but apparently it gets very busy in the summer, so book early!!!

A few weeks ago, my sister in law and me were visiting Portballantrae. We decided to have Sunday lunch at the Bay View hotel. We hadn't made a reservation, but were lucky enough to get a table. The place was buzzing. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our meal was excellent and good quality. I haven't stayed in the hotel before, but will definitely be looking into a stay there. We will definitely be back.

A great place to stay lovely pleasant staff, clean rooms, great comfy beds, food both for dinner and breakfast so good and tasty. Service was excellent with friendly staff, views over the sea amazing and hotel situated close to many attractions of the North coast. We will be back.

We ate here during a trip to Portballintrae. It was a wonderful meal. Party of 8 and everyone enjoyed their meal. The chowder and the beef were superb. Lovely location & staff. Would definitely recommend. We also popped in. For the drinks the previous evening and there was a wonderful atmosphere and music in the bar area.

I live across the street but my heating went out and i needed a place to stay..The Bayview saved my day. The hotel has recently been refurbished and it is more relaxing than ever. The setting is idyllic. The view from the restaurant/bar and from the front rooms are the only hotel/restaurant that has a full view of the majestic North Atlantic. The food is superb, from dinner-I had SeaBass to a proper cooked to order breakfast with amazing croissants and perfectly cooked eggs and the staff is second to none., The bar is extensive with an incredible collection of local gins-Dont miss Shore Born drinks..they are made in the Village by a local distiller!! I even had an amazing nights sleep, the rooms are comfy, very clean and total up to date! I almost wish my heat would go out more often. Thanks again Bayview!!!

The hotel has recently been refurbished and it is more relaxing then ever. The setting is idyllic. The view from the restaurant/bar and from the front rooms are the only place on the NorthCoast that give you a proper full on North Atlantic Vista. The food is superb, I had Roast Cauliflower soup (starter) and Sea Bass and Champ (Northern Irish Mashed potato) for dinner the staff most welcoming and professional. I had one of the best night sleeps in a long time. The next morning there was an extensive continental breakfast buffet with amazIng croissants and then I chose a modified Ulster fry (too much food otherwise). Egg was perfect and was everythign else. Thanks to all at the Bayview for such a lovely stay. Lookign forward to coming back!

I called the Bayview to book a table for a small family birthday. I spoke to Fiona , the manager, who was so warm, friendly and kind... a fantastic asset to the hotel. Fiona booked a beautiful table for us by the window. Not only that my 87 year old mum had a sweet surprise of birthday balloons...a lovely touch by the hotel. Service was excellent by the staff. Food amazing . We had the soup , shared chicken wings ...delicious . My mum had the hearty fish pie, I had lovely delicately flavoured sea bass and my husband had the salt and chilli scampi. Sticky toffee pudding for dessert. House white sauvignon blanc.. excellent. We love the hotel, lovely low background music so you can hear each other... important for older clientelle. Exemplary service which is hard to find. Thank you Fiona for your superb service and thoughtfulness in helping provide my mum with the perfect birthday meal .
