We stayed here for a fun romantic weekend in early December. And even though it was the off-season and part of the complex was closed for construction, we had a great time at this beautiful resort. There are beautiful falls, pleasant grounds, peaceful ponds, and places to see alpacas, mini-donkeys, geese, swans, and peacocks. The complementary Bearkat’s t was awesome. We went to their farm to table restaurant which was great, and then explored the local area (the FDR Presidential Library/Museum was a highlight). Staff was super-nice and helpful and the rooms and suites are really great. The place is pricey but we got a discount though ******* points.
