"I recently stayed at this hotel and had a disappointing experience with the front desk staff, specifically the two girls on duty during my check-in at 9 PM. Despite my reservation, I had to wait over 30 minutes for a room, which turned out to be different from the one I booked. Despite informing them of our anniversary, the staff's response was unhelpful. The initial room's view was changed without acknowledgment, and the alternative offered was worse. Only after speaking to the manager ( it's worth noting that the manager I spoke to was exceptionally friendly and understanding) did we receive a better room, but it still wasn't the one we booked. The lack of consideration for our special occasion made it a frustrating experience overall."

For the Oberoi Marrakesh, it is truly difficult to find fault. The hotel, relatively new, is simply stunning with the impressive lobby and villas, as well as expansive gardens with 2700 olive trees. The acting General Manager Mamdouh is the perfect and consummate hotelier, ever present checking everything non-stop, to ensure the guest experience is nothing less than 5-stars. Jalal from their F&B outlet surprised us with an entire loaf of lemon cake to take back to London that was not available on two breakfasts which we sore missed after our first breakfast. El Habib is an amazing server ready to grant you at least three wishes with his magic lamp! Khalid the Duty Manager also asks non-stop how they can improve a service that is already par excellence. Our hats off to the amazing pastry chef who makes baked goods that rival the best Parisian patisserie. I saw the two staff who cleaned every machine in the fitness center using four sprays leaving neither dust nor germ —- they focus on the minutest detail. The whole team is just extremely well-trained and professional and very committed in their desire to exceed your expectations. The synchronization of their efforts, in the most natural and sincere manner, always with big smiles, translates to nothing less than less than a truly memorable experience. They know how to make you feel like Arab royalty! We will certainly be back!!! Thank you so much to all of you!!! Shukran!
