Louis Althea Beach

I travelled to Cyprus with my family in the Easter holidays, when we arrived at the hotel simply from the outside we could tell it was going to be a great week stay! Firstly, the food there was very well made with a wide selection of meals and themed dishes in the evening that was always unique. The pools were always lovely and clean as well as the pool bar nearby with delicious food and drinks on offer. The nearby sun loungers on the grass was an amazing spot, close to the sandy beach, the pristine pool and all the rooms. Every room was kind of in its own block all fantastically decorated and organised with the rooms themselves being comfortable and spotless what with the the cleaners ensuring your rooms stay clean throughout your stay. The rooms also blocked any view of the other hotels alongside the coast so you really felt as if you were in your own holiday environment. Not to mention a small football field, play park and volleyball area outside the rooms. The hotel staff were always very friendly and helpful which also helped draw together the enclosed and personal feeling of this amazing hotel. The reception workers were always happy to point out the best places to see in this beautiful area. Places such as the beach walk which took you past many cats and beaches or all the amazingly bustling nearby towns and villages. One of the best things about the whole holiday was the entertainment crew, they always put on amazing shows and games such as mini disco, darts or a music quiz. One person I have to point out particularly in that group is the leader of the entertainment crew Fabio. He was always so funny and charismatic with different jokes that adults, teenagers or children could find funny. He was an amazing person to meet and hang out with but all the staff were helpful and cheery. Overall, the Louis Althea beach hotel was one of the best holidays I’ve ever been to with great food to fill you up, activities and jokes for all ages and in an amazing beautiful area! We made so many wonderful memories there and will definitely be returning next year.

Excellent Cypriot food with friendly staff and a great animation team. Couldn’t fault this place and hope to be back again. It’s in a quieter part of the coast, a little beach in front of the hotel and an amazing selection of food. The animation team provide funny and inclusive entertainment for all the family in the evenings.

We had the best week at this amazing hotel. All the staff made us feel so welcome, from the wonderful manager, the bar staff, restaurant staff and housekeepers. The rooms are fabulous for families, large with a separate bedroom and two separate single beds for the children in the living area. We didn’t use the kitchen as all inclusive but everything was provided. The hotel kindly left us some food and drinks in our fridge for our late arrival. The entertainment team were so lovely and enthusiastic, Natalia did a fantastic stretch class every morning, Mark and Fabio made up the team and were so lovely with the children and keeping us entertained in the evening/ afternoon activities. The only night we didn’t enjoy was the movie night, but it made no difference as we were happy chatting with new friends. The food at this hotel is outstanding, I am a vegetarian and there was always so many things I could eat. One plate never seemed to be enough… bottles of water are always available at the bars, the beer was good, as were the cocktails. I don’t drink anything else so can’t comment on wine ect. The hotel is in a fabulous place, 10 mins walk from the harbour for boat trips, 5 mins from Penera, and 30 mins walk to Protaras. I cannot wait to go back with my family.

Best hotel and lovely Staff. I have been here with my family for a week. The hotel is a little worn, especially the rooms are nice and excellent but "old fashioned" The cleaning of the rooms was impeccable. The facility is very clean and the staff works hard to make everything exceptional! There are 2 swimming pools plus a small pool for children, excellent food and drinks. During the day there is an entertainment program where there are 3 staff of animation who work hard all the time. We want said thanks to Natalia for your availability and kindness, for your stretching lessons and for looking after our children at the mini club, every evening she danced to the mini disco with a lot of energy!!! THANKS 🙏 A big thank you, however, goes to the head of the Pink Wave animation team, the showman, Mr FABIO! Thanks to his kindness he made us feel good, always has something nice to say and always smiling. Thanks for the fun darts and beach volleyball tournament, super Katastrophe bingo so funny!! we called him Mr Katastrophe because he always said in a nice way, KATASTROPHE!! The other guy came to talk to us sometimes but he wasn't very convincing so we didn't think much of him, but I think he young guy. Thank you all guys for your energy and passion! Stayed in Villa 3, the cleaning staff are unbelievable the villa was perfect in every way. We used the hotel a couple of times to eat and drink. George and Maria were superb with us, Fabio was a funny man doing the entertainment. Aplausos. Thanks The Murphy family.

We had a great time in the idyllic hotel. The staff was friendly, the food was fresh, versatile and tasty. The room and common areas were clean. We felt very welcome, thank you! The children were well taken care of and there was plenty of joy and laughter for the children at the hotel.

Hotel in good location with small beach ( not crowded) fit also to children. Friendly and helpful staff. Very very good kitchen, fantastic meals. All rooms AC. Close is diving center . A lot of to see around with rent car what you could arrange in hotel. Towels in room not changed during whole week, maybe it is necessary ask for it even it is 4* hotel. Also cleaning on room was average . But generally very good stay and holiday.

Just returned from a fabulous 12 night stay at the Louis Althea Beach hotel in Pernera. What an amazing hotel in a stunning beachfront location. We are a family of four with a 17 year old and a 14 year old and we all had an amazing time. Thank you to the friendly and energetic entertainment team, especially Amalie, Vera, Francesca and Marco for keeping us busy with water games and exercises in the pool ❤️. The food in the hotel is outstanding. There was lots of variety and everything was delicious. We loved the Mexican night the most, with the ribs, tacos, chill and fajitas. Watch out for the rabbit and balsamic onion at lunchtime and the beef stefado, absolutely gorgeous 😋 The draft lager is Keo 👍 and the all inclusive cocktails are absolutely outstanding 🍹 If you do venture out of the hotel for food, we highly recommend the happy pub, just 250 metres up the road. Lovely friendly staff and wonderful food. Avoid the Mexican in town, complete gimmick, basic greasy horrible food. The hotel has its own beach so you are only a few footsteps from the clear and warm beautiful sea. There are loads of water sports on the doorstep. We highly recommend the sunset boat trip with Aphrodite cruises, it’s absolutely brilliant. Thank you to all the staff and Louis Althea for a fantastic holiday.
