The Sense Experience Resort

Nice peaceful hotel amongst the trees and beach, but the location is quite far out ..not a tourist area at all, I assume it’s where many locals go on vacation. I noticed outside the resort many people cycling or jogging, also families with dogs. Very tranquil relaxing peaceful area.. for more entertainment and restaurants you need to go into Follonica town . You can walk which took me an hour or pay 20 Euro for a 10 -15 min taxi ride!! We did discover a local bus that runs 3 times a day( download the app at bus stop) would be great if the hotel has a shuttle service to town. Rooms are bright modern and clean, but our rooms were right next to the trees and wild life ( had a luxury glamping feel) lots of mosquitos and noisy big crickets that came into room. Breakfast was average very continental. However a free omelette station should have been included for this type of hotel. instead there’s a 9 Euro charge. Hotel is a bit expensive for what it is .. would only return if the room rates was heavily reduced. Reception staff was super friendly and polite

A splendid, spacious and light suite with a balcony looking onto the beach. The service was welcoming and very friendly. The beach facilities are family-oreinted and not crowded. Big breakfast buffet. Beautiful property to explore under the pjnetrees.

This Hotel is just perfect! The staff is really friendly! The rooms are so cozy! Especially the bed! Manuela was at the front desk was very very friendly and we felt highly welcomed! We enjoyed our stay here! Thank you!

The Sense Resort is a perfect for a relaxing break. Great restaurants, private beach and lovely rooms. My partner and I really enjoyed our stay whether it was relaxing on a beach gazebo, or by the huge, heated swimming pool, or dining at one of the onsite restaurants. The staff were very friendly too.

Really happy with our stay at Senses, had the best chilled, relaxed and calm holiday. We were a couple but it was lovely to see how the hotel are both family and dog friendly (we weren’t bothered by the dogs at all). The reserved sunbeds on the beach for each room are an excellent idea, no stressing or rushing around in the morning to get a bed! Really enjoyed using the complimentary bikes to cycle to town. The sunset and sunrise paths with unique seating areas are lovely to sit and relax!

Lovely hotel with a great private beach, a reserved space just for you, an umbrella, two sun beds and a chair, plus of course towels. Great shower, nice room but I wouldn't choose the EMOTION one again even though it is nice and bright with a fabulous view. Downstairs you have the restaurant and logically it can be rather noisy especially if people tend to stay later than usual. The balconies are with glass partitions and everyone can see you when you are sitting in one of the chairs. Well it's not a drama but still next time (and this is our second stay) I will choose another building. Dinner was fabulous , you get 3 choices for antipasti, 3 for the first course, 3 for the second course and of course 3 for the desserts. Service is good. You can use the bicycle to get into town free of charge, a stand up paddle and a canoe to use at the beach. Turn down service in the evening, Now I want to thank you some of the staff, unfortunately I didn't get all of their names. Our cleaning lady was kind and our room was cleaned to perfection, so a big thank you to her. Thank you Misha and Stefano both of you were great, Stefano always gave us tips about wine and we laughed a lot even though they were working very hard. Thank you Chiara for organising the table in the garden for us. A big thank you to Alina for checking on us, asking if everything was fine. Last but not least Kiara with a K. What a wonderful girl/person and so young, always with a smile for everyone, working hard like all the rest and studying at the same time. It's great to see young people with so many traits, patience, initiative, confidence, optimism. Keep it up Kiara with a K, you are such a wonderful person and you will surely go a long way. Oh I forgot, thank you to the beach employees especially the man fixing the beach in the evening. We were always the last ones to leave and he was very accommodating maybe even more than he should have. See you next year.

Very very rude staff, checked out this morning and we were told breakfast was closed. No help at all. Staff on 5 occasions have been rude. Life guard was rude at the swimming pool. Receptionist was extremely rude when we checked out this morning on 20/09 at 7am.
