"The service was excellent; the hotel was very accommodating and the reception was warm and welcoming, meeting all my expectations. The hotel's pool and beach were quite good, and not too crowded. It's a good value-for-money option among the high-end hotels in Cancun."

"The hotel staff were all incredibly kind, and both the room and facilities were spotless. The food at the poolside bar and other snack spots within the hotel wasn't exceptional (for example, the matcha latte I ordered had no matcha flavor at all), but it varied, and the convenience of being able to order something anytime I wanted to eat or drink outweighed any minor disappointments. I made a reservation at the steak restaurant for dinner, and the appetizer salad and soup were much larger than I expected. I felt bad about not being able to finish them, so I'd recommend that those who eat light inquire about portion sizes beforehand. The room service menu was also extensive, and I found myself wishing I could have tried more. While it's not a beachfront hotel, meaning you have to take a shuttle bus to the private beach, and thus not ideal for those who want the ocean right outside their door, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. "My wife and I had an unforgettable and wonderful experience at NYX Hotel. The hotel's warm and hospitable experience made me extremely excited. Every delicious meal leaves me at a loss as to what to choose. The restaurant works very late every day, allowing guests to have a meal at any time. It is particularly worth mentioning that the front desk staff, Aejandro and Olivcr, helped me with everything. You know, I don't speak English, let alone Spanish. When there was a problem with the one-day tour I booked with the travel agency, Aejandro made many calls for me and helped me solve the problem. I want to thank these two handsome Mexican lads! Next time I come, I will still choose NYX!"

"The hotel was fantastic. We got a free upgrade to a family suite room which was really nice! We only spent 2 days there but I thought everything was good. The hotel seems like it’s been there quite a while and it’s not particularly modern, but they maintain it really well. For that area the price and quality it’s definitely worth a stay!"

"The hotel feels a bit dated, like one of those older-generation resorts (which is common in Cancun, given that the first Hyatt was developed here back in 1974), but it's well-maintained and the rooms are very clean. The two-bedroom suite is actually a one-bedroom suite connected to a standard room next door. There are many Westin Vacation Club salespeople here promoting timeshares, all part of the Marriott group, and they frequently call the rooms."

"Staying at this hotel brought mixed impressions. On one hand, the property looks new and visually appealing; on the other, there were several disappointing and controversial moments. The check-in process felt quite strange. My room upgrade request was declined in an inappropriate manner despite my Hilton Honors Gold status. Additionally, no one assisted us in locating our room, and there was no introduction to the hotel facilities- we were simply told to find all information in the app. The room itself was very noisy due to constant traffic from buses and service vehicles outside the windows. A request to change the room was declined, and the receptionist even mentioned that my Gold status meant nothing for this booking. Housekeeping also skipped our room twice, despite the sign on the door requesting service. On the positive side, the food quality was generally good, and the entertainment program was decent, though not outstanding. It was surprising that the bars did not provide a clear drinks menu of what could be ordered. The biggest drawback of the hotel is the beach, which is almost nonexistent. The highlights were the wonderful Kids’ Club staff and the generally friendly hotel personnel, although some bartenders and reception staff were less welcoming. The swimming pool is pleasant, but the hot tubs were disappointing, with noticeably dirty water. Regarding the all-inclusive restaurants, the Italian restaurant was excellent, while the Mexican restaurant was the weakest. Overall, the hotel has potential thanks to its modern appearance and some great staff members, but improvements in service consistency, cleanliness, communication, and beach access would significantly enhance the guest experience."

"I highly recommend Oleo Cancun. We had a fantastic time from start to finish. The hotel is not big but rather medium but is the ideal size if you prefer to stay away from those massive resorts that feel more like malls than hotels. However our room was quite spacious with lot of storages and a beautifull view, The staff was extremely friendly and not pushy at all, which was greatly appreciated. The food from our all-inclusive package was delicious, with a variety of restaurants and buffets to choose from. They offered a range of international, Mexican, and Asian cuisines, with plenty of options for meat, vegetables, fruits, and cakes. The hotel is quite peaceful at night, which is nice if you're not looking for a party hotel. The staff was attentive and remembered us, making us feel valued. Our room was clean, and they always tried to accommodate our needs. We paid a small fee for a late departure, which gave us continued access to the facilities and food for a very good deal, perfectly matching our evening flight schedule. I would definitely come back and recommend this place. The location is very convenient for the airport and is situated on the *****."

"I was extremely satisfied with the hotel I booked this time. It offered incredible value for money. The beachfront king-size room was very close to the sea, and pictures 1, 2, and 6 show the view from the balcony. I could gaze at the ocean all day long and never get tired of it; the sea in Cancun is absolutely stunning, truly that jelly-like turquoise blue. The all-inclusive meal plan was fantastic. The hotel has many beautiful restaurants, and dining there was an experience in itself. Just be aware that for some popular restaurants, you need to book them as soon as you check in, otherwise, you won't be able to get a reservation later. If you enjoy drinks, it's even better, with a wide variety of alcoholic beverages to choose from. Opting for the all-inclusive package was definitely a smart choice."
