"Good day! We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights, having booked a beachfront bungalow, and we were lucky enough to get one right on the first line. The staff are polite, the breakfasts are simple but very tasty, and there's daily room cleaning. This hotel is perfect for a quiet, relaxing getaway, with many families with children staying here. Within a few minutes' walk, you'll find a Tops supermarket, as well as various restaurants and bars. The sea is very clean, with some areas having coarse shells in the sand, while closer to the water, the sand is fine and white."

"They are calling themselves a wellness hotel and they are! The staff are very nice and attentive to the details. There are interesting sessions to attend during your stay and you will love it. The breakfast options were great and I enjoyed them so much while I stayed. The hotel provided a shuttle bus to central mall in case you don't drive. I won't recommend to walk from the main road to the hotel. I want to highlight the gym here that people will love and one more thing the hotel won't accept the customer under 16 years old."

"Lamai Beach Resort – Relaxing Beachfront Stay we had a very pleasant stay at Lamai Beach Resort. The location is excellent, right on Lamai Beach, with beautiful sea views and easy access to the beach. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The bed was comfortable, and the room had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. we especially enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the sound of the sea. The staff were friendly, polite, and always helpful, making us feel very welcome throughout our stay. The resort grounds are well kept, and the overall atmosphere is calm and relaxing. This resort is perfect for anyone looking for a comfortable beachfront stay in Lamai. I would definitely recommend Lamai Beach Resort and would be happy to stay here again."

"We loved everything! The hotel has its own private beach with sun loungers and umbrellas (though sometimes there weren't enough loungers on the beach, so we'd just relax by the pool). Breakfasts were a bit repetitive, with only the soups changing, but no matter what time we went, everything was always well-stocked (omelets, fried eggs, boiled eggs, vegetables, fruits, soups, pastries, bread, cheese, rice with stewed meat and vegetables, bacon, and sausages). The hotel grounds are beautiful; I recommend getting a garden bungalow, as you'll have your own gazebo and a drying rack for clothes. The hotel provides rubber slippers and a beach bag with towels. Right next to the hotel is a 7-Eleven, and on the same side, there's a fruit stand with really great guys working there. We ordered fruit smoothies and sliced fruit from them, and they always treated us to bananas or watermelon while we waited. The hotel offers scooters for rent (located on the property) and also helped us rent a car at the best price with insurance (I compared prices on all platforms and was surprised that the hotel's price was better). They delivered the car to the hotel and picked it up there too. There was a 5000 baht deposit, and we had no issues whatsoever from the rental company; they returned our deposit and we shook hands."

"Gorgeous views and a very green, well-maintained territory. Cleaning is excellent. Linens and towels are changed daily. The room is very clean. Breakfasts are fantastic. They prepare different types of eggs, pancakes, and offer cheese, cured sausage, vegetables, greens, ready-made dishes, and lots of fruit. The coffee is bad, but that's the only downside of the breakfasts. It's great to sunbathe by the pool; there are comfortable sun loungers, and you can order drinks and food. The music is pleasant and not too loud. The pool water temperature and showers are nice. Massages are slightly more expensive than elsewhere, literally by only 200 baht. CONS. 1. You can't take more than 1 towel at the pool. This is absolute nonsense. One towel isn't enough to cover the whole sun lounger, and it's impossible to touch the scorching hot faux leather. Just buy more towels; you're washing them anyway. What's the problem with one more or two? I really don't see the issue! 2. Internet. It didn't work at all in our room. There are apps and YouTube on the TV, but you can't watch movies because there's no internet, even though they give you the Wi-Fi password. It only works in the restaurant and by the pool. 3. The staff is excellent, EXCEPT for the older man with glasses by the pool (photo attached). He constantly has a sour face as if everyone owes him something. Disgusting. Unfriendly. Customer service is ZERO. He needs to be retired with that attitude! 4. The sea. It's non-existent. It's a quarry. Take a 3-minute ride to Chaweng, that's where the beach is. White, fine sand, turquoise water. Here, it's yellow, coarse sand, all rocks; you can't swim without a mask. Even getting in is difficult. So, if you love swimming in beautiful water, this isn't the place. And if you use a mask, which they provide for free here, it's not Zanzibar or the Maldives; it's not that beautiful, and there's not much to see. 5. Flies in the restaurant! This is absolutely horrific. There are 5-8 of them flying over your plates. And don't tell me it can't be dealt with. I refuse to believe that a guest in a 5-star hotel should sit swatting flies. Put some small repellents on the tables. They cost pennies, but they solve the problem. 6. The air conditioning in the room roars like a plane taking off. It's impossible to adjust it properly. It has no quiet mode. Replace this old thing with new ones; it's not that expensive either. 7. Near the building where our room 406 was, there's a smoking area for staff. We have to walk past this spot every day, and it's dirty, with trash everywhere, as if it's not hotel property but a backyard in a village. 8. Water temperature fluctuations in the shower. There are only two options: scalding hot or freezing cold. It's impossible to get a medium temperature."

"The hotel was excellent. The staff who picked us up from the airport, both for arrival and departure, provided fantastic service. On the first day, we booked a room with a bathroom by the pool and enjoyed complimentary drinks. On the second day, we moved to a beachfront room, which had an amazing atmosphere. The hotel is conveniently located near shopping areas, making it easy to walk around. Thank you for the wonderful service. See you next year! /Maya Sweden"

"Overall, it was okay, but I felt the price was a bit high. The soundproofing was really good, with a double balcony. Our windows faced the road, but we slept perfectly well – only the air conditioning made noise! The beach is nice, the sand is a bit coarse in places, not like flour, but quite comfortable, almost like a massage. You don't have to walk far for good depth either. There were no problems with sun loungers, but we usually arrived early; by lunchtime, there were none available (but I guess that's common everywhere). Housekeeping was daily, no complaints there. Breakfast: buffet style, modest, but you definitely won't go hungry. Three types of eggs, rice/potatoes/noodles, pancakes/fritters, always soup, cheese, one type of sausage, one type of hotdog, salad, vegetables, bread, croissants, jams, three types of fruit: watermelon, pineapple, and something else that varied, various cereals with milk, tea, coffee, juices (from a carton). The coffee and tea are brewed in teapots, not from a machine. We only stayed a few days, so it wasn't a big issue. The bath leaks a little, but there's even a drain for it, as if they specifically anticipated and solved this problem with a drain. It just feels like you expect a bit more for the price. The staff are good. The massage parlor across the street is recommended."

"Stayed one night here and the location of the hotel was why we chose the hotel in the first place. It had great location to the main street with shops, bars and restaurants all in walking distance from our room. Right by the beach with lounge style sun beds, bar and restaurant beside a small pool area. They also had cool plunge pools. We left early in the morning so didn’t have time to try their breakfast but they had friendly service in the reception from check-in to check-out. Quite simple rooms but with everything you need, lived in attached styled bungalows with the entrance from the resorts garden, with a small terrace which was nice."

"The room I got had a beautiful view overlooking Lamai Beach, it was perfect! Highly recommend it, the price is good and it's great value for money. Plus, all the snacks and drinks are free."

"We stayed 9 nights in this excellent picture perfect beachfront paradise!! Our bright and airy cottage was right next to the sparkling clean pool and overlooking the beach. Our room was was spotlessly clean, with a huge comfy bed with new clean sheets, a large bathroom with good hot water. Lovely to sit out on our deck overlooking the pool and ocean. Breakfast was served overlooking the beach and was awesome!! The buffet, included Thai food such as sweet and sour pork, chicken and cashews, noodles, fried rice- they changed everyday. Everyday there was also an egg station, bacon, sausages, salad, fresh fruit , croissants, juices and a coffee machine. The restaurant is open all day and the staff set up tables on the beach for dinner - delicious food. All the staff are friendly and welcoming!! Perfect quiet location on Lamai beach - walk 2 or 3 minutes along the sand to the walking bridge and you are at the Night Market and busy Lamai town. There is also a 7 11 right next door. Tesco down the road and a Makro another few kms further. Highly recommend… we are staying again next year"
