Came to this hostel for a one day trip to Rio and wanted to check out the Ipanema are and beach. Dalia and Ian were very nice and helpful when checking me in. The hostel definitely felt like home with all the activities everyday allowing me to meet people.

had such a great time at Ipanema Beach Hostel! The people here are insanely friendly, with an insanely amazing vibe. It doesn’t matter if you’re traveling alone or with someone — you’re guaranteed to make friends. This place brings people together in the best way. They offer so many fun activities every day, from beach volleyball to parties and tours around the city. You really don’t need to book anything in advance — there are always plenty of options, and the hostel makes it super easy to join in. It’s a great place to explore Rio, even if you arrive without a plan. As a tourist who came to Rio for the first time and stayed in this hostel, I can say without a doubt — I would come back. Honestly, I would love to join the staff. Working here looks like so much fun — good energy, amazing people, and the best vibe every single day. One of the best things about the hostel is how flexible they are. Whether it’s about prices, extending your stay, or changing dates — they’ll always try to help you. Everyone who works here is super chill and helpful. I have to give a special shoutout to Natalie, one of the staff members. She is truly amazing! She helped me buy a bus ticket to another city when I was totally stuck. She didn’t have to, but she went out of her way to help, and you can really see that she loves helping people. She’s kind, warm, and honestly made my stay so much better. If you’re looking for a fun, social, and welcoming hostel in Rio — this is the place. 10/10 would recommend

The best hostel in Ipanema I love this place. It’s so much fun every night. Jean is very fun and we like you a lot. The place is very clean and nice to stay at.

A great sociable hostel always putting on events for guest, Jean was a standout staff member very attentive and brought the life to the party

So many people to meet from all over the world and plenty of activities to do thought the hostel. I went some of my best friends through this hostel. And Jean specifically was very friendly and helpful!

Ian was THE BEST in everything helping around and answering all the questions. Definitely recommend to stay here. I love rio and the caipirinha than Ian make us was the best loved it. You definitely should come to río de Janeiro and experience everything here
