"This is a newly opened hotel that's part of the CTS Surfing Resort, with a pretty fresh style. We stayed in a surfing twin room. There's no nightstand in the middle, so the beds can be pushed together, which is convenient for families like ours with kids. The twin beds are larger, and having two separate duvets is more practical in case the little ones kick theirs off. The vanity is in the main room, in line with the TV, while the toilet and shower are on opposite sides of the room. Overall, it's fairly convenient. However, when you enter the shower area on the right, there's no space to change or grab a towel to dry off – you're immediately in the shower. Once you're done and open the shower door, you're directly back in the room, completely exposed. For families with very young children, this might not be an issue. Since it's a new hotel, the facilities are quite modern. The balcony has two seats and a clothes drying rack. There's no washing machine in the room, but there's a self-service laundry room on the first floor with two washers and dryers (no need for detergent or disinfectant, as the machines automatically dispense them). You might have to wait during peak hours. Overall, it's pretty good and suitable for surfing. Our butler, Linda, added us on WeChat in advance to introduce the services and facilities, which was very convenient and the service was good."

"Our stay this time was absolutely perfect! I had originally booked a standard room, but upon arrival, the hotel thoughtfully upgraded us to a Thai-style villa free of charge, which was such a wonderful surprise! The villa featured high, wooden ceilings that were incredibly stylish, and the living room was spacious and comfortable. The Thai-style soft furnishings were tastefully arranged, with blue and white throw pillows complementing the solid wood furniture perfectly. Being in the room felt like a Southeast Asian getaway, the atmosphere was just incredible. Not only was the hardware superb, but the service was also impeccable. From check-in to everyday needs, the staff were incredibly attentive and thoughtful. Their response time was quick, and they even proactively asked about our needs and offered suggestions for activities. The care in every detail made us feel especially welcome. The bedding in the room was soft and skin-friendly, and the bathroom facilities and amenities were all high-quality; you could really feel the hotel's dedication in every detail. The surrounding environment was serene, surrounded by lush greenery, offering a truly immersive holiday experience. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time!"

The room was clean and tidy, and having a dehumidifier was a huge plus – they were also generous with bottled water, which is a lifesaver in scorching Hainan! The gym and indoor pool are in great condition, and there are even tennis courts and an outdoor pool. Breakfast is plentiful, and the hotel organizes various activities daily. In the evenings, there are often performances, and it's lovely to sit at the bar, enjoy the sea breeze, and chat over a drink. Every staff member I met was friendly and enthusiastic, and there were no hidden costs whatsoever. A truly comfortable and enjoyable trip!"

"The hotel more looks like a bed and breakfast than a 4 star hotel. The room we booked was really small, around 12 square meters. With a balcony outside to sit. However, the view does not worth sitting and many other neighbors are just checking you. The room itself was clean, but inside the community isn't very clean at all. Probably, the highest disappointment comes from the public swimming pool which is a really tiny swimming pool. Their swimming pool is around 2.5 meters to 2.5 meters. So if you're coming to have a nice swimming experience, don't even think about it in this hotel. We booked a room with breakfast included which was around 50 yuan more expensive than if we didn't want any breakfast. Let me be honest with you, their breakfast doesn't worth at all. There's no salad, no seasonal fruit, no bread, no coffee (broken coffee machine) and no desert. Forget all the things you can find in breakfast of normal 4 start hotel, It's just some dumplings, egg and simple corn which you can buy from any shop outside for less than 10 yuan all of them. Overall, the price doesn't fit the service you receive, specifically about the swimming pool and breakfast."

Each room also has its own little balcony, which is very comfortable. Cleanliness: Very clean. The cleaning staff tidies up daily and does an excellent job. Environment: Just a 100-meter walk to the beach, very chill. Service: Lexie, the customer service representative, is super nice. She brought us fruit daily and even upgraded us to a beachfront restaurant, which was a lovely surprise!👍 “Freezing the South French Romance and Island Enthusiasm of Shimei Bay (including 5 raw photos and a 15-second video, suitable for all ages)”: The photos turned out great, and I once again over-chose!"

"The hotel's facilities are quite good. The front desk staff who handled check-in were exceptionally helpful. However, the breakfast was overpriced for what it was – comparable to a budget hotel breakfast, though it did fill you up. Room service was very poor; it took at least half an hour for anything to be delivered. The pool management was also quite bad; the staff were surly, as if I owed them money, and overly strict about everything. I tried to request an early check-in, and a male front desk employee, who was on the phone at the time, told me all rooms were booked solid the night before and hadn't been cleaned. In reality, less than 1/10 of the hotel rooms seemed occupied. Thankfully, a kind female front desk staff member eventually sorted out the issue. My advice is this: if you don't have high expectations for service and overall quality of experience, the hotel's hardware is fine, but the service is truly abysmal."
