"This property would have gotten 200% points if they had a better parking system. For a 1st timer, things were so confusing for us. Moreover the access card given to us was not working thus we had to go up and down just to get things sorted out. Parking - from the parking level 7 there are different access to different buildings. Had the security guard was not there, it would have been very hassle for us to find which lift entrance to use. The access card was not working and ended going down again to get it fixed and coming up again. FYI the check in place is not in the same tower as the one which are staying. The parking is not well lit at night so it's kinda scary to go there at night. The property - everything was good and satisfactory at T3 12-02 which is a three-bedroom unit. If I come again, will prefer to use this unit again. Breakfast buffet - this must be the highlight of the stay!!! The taste, varieties and price everything was just so good!!! The service was prompt and friendly, and sufficient people on duty. Very satisfied with it. The rate for adults RM30++ and children RM20++."

"The hotel's location is great, within walking distance of Malacca's old town. When I checked in, the Malaysian lady at the front desk collected a 50 RM cash deposit from me (which another front desk staff member refunded when I checked out the next day). Additionally, she charged an extra 28 RM for some unknown fee (Ctrip showed an 8 RM world heritage fee was due). I stayed for two nights, and Ctrip deducted 475.47 RMB upon checkout. Room 512 faces west, offering an open view of St. Paul's Hill. The room didn't have a safe or slippers, but it did have a refrigerator, toothbrush, hairdryer, wardrobe, and hangers. The air conditioning was central and could be set to a very low temperature. Upon entering, I accidentally pressed the 'make up room' button next to the door. Later, after I had gone to bed, a staff member rang the doorbell to clean. They were very responsible; I had to get dressed and explain in person that I didn't need the service before they left."

"Arrived by bus from Singapore, and the hotel is super close to the bus station. There's a 7-Eleven downstairs, and if you walk a bit further, there are two shopping malls. It's also quite near the old city wall ruins. The earliest check-in time is around 2:30 PM, which feels pretty inconvenient. On the bright side, there are plenty of seating areas in the lobby. The room itself is quite spacious, and the bathroom is clean. Overall, it's great value for money."

"My partner and I really enjoyed this stay. The location was close to local hotspots and markets and the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet had the best food we had in all of Malaysia. The room and halls were neat and clean. Extra benefit to have a mall attached to hotel where we could shop and enjoy the cool air. Would very much like to return one day."

"Stayed here with my wife for 2 nights—overall a comfortable and value-for-money stay. Spacious, modern room with a nice semi-partition layout that gives a studio feel. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Basic amenities were neatly packed, and the kitchenette is a useful addition. Location is slightly away from Jonker Street but still just a short drive, which helps avoid the crowd. Service was smooth and efficient throughout. Good balance of space, comfort, and affordability. Solid choice for a short getaway. Rating:★★★★☆"

"The hotel has a pool, which the kids absolutely loved. Downstairs, there are plenty of dining and massage options. Free parking is a huge plus for self-drivers! Plus, there's a fantastic fish ball shop, Guilinggao (herbal jelly), and durian shop nearby!"

"The room was a bit old-fashioned. The window was small and the bathroom sink was tiny, though the shower was decent. Breakfast was just okay and required walking to a separate building. It was also very crowded, with many tour groups. There's no sidewalk directly outside the hotel, so you need to be careful when walking out. It's not close to the main attractions, so if you're not big on walking, you might want to think twice before booking."

"The hotel looks grand and the room is very spacious and clean. The view is great as I can see the city and sea partially. The bed and pillows are comfortable that helped me to sleep well😴 The staff is very friendly and helpful. Upon check in, the staff will provide you with their specially made cookies which tasted delicious😁 The only problem is that walking to Jonker Street is not convenient and you need to drive or Grab there in a few minutes 😅"

"This hotel just opened two months ago, right by the sea near Portuguese Settlement. I didn't have high expectations initially, but I was so pleasantly surprised! The hotel is backed by the ocean, and there's a clean, beautiful pool right in the courtyard. The breakfast was rich and clean – especially the bread, which clearly wasn't pre-made, and the fruit was super fresh. It felt much more genuine than some of the five-star hotels in downtown Kuala Lumpur! Even at 9 or 10 PM, you could still order food from the hotel restaurant, and the quality here was genuinely high compared to outside options. This morning, the hotel even had a lion dance performance, which added to the festive atmosphere. The hotel manager really pays attention to service details, which is absolutely essential for a great hotel. Having a fresh, high-quality breakfast in the morning is a wonderful start to the day, and you can even swim in the pool after coming back at night. A Grab taxi to Jonker Street is only about 8-10 RM away. It's very quiet at night, with a gentle sea breeze and the pool. It reminded us of beautiful places we'd traveled to before and even brought back memories of my partner's hometown. Because of this, we spontaneously decided to extend our stay for two more nights. Highly recommend everyone to stay here! (The only minor thing to note is that the air conditioning in the rooms can be a bit noisy. Hopefully, they can improve this. It gets quite warm at night, so you need the AC, and it would be great if it didn't blow directly on you.) 1) The room cleanliness and linens were excellent; the towels were tumble-dried, and the sheets were neatly ironed. 2) The staff were warm and friendly. 3) The environment was outstanding, quiet, and beautiful. 4) The breakfast was exquisite and clean. The chicken sausage was the only one with a normal texture among the seven or eight hotels we've stayed at in Malaysia. The à la carte restaurant didn't disappoint either; you could tell the watermelon juice was fresh (many places serve overnight juice). Thank you to the hotel for their dedication, which made our vacation wonderful. If we ever return to Malacca, The Lisbon Malacca will definitely be our top choice."

"Overall, my stay was quite disappointing due to multiple issues with the facilities and management, although there are a few positive aspects worth mentioning. 1. The toilet flushing system is very weak and unable to properly flush waste. There is also no exhaust fan, causing unpleasant odors to linger after use. 2. The shower area lacks proper shelving for toiletries, which is inconvenient, especially for female guests. Although the space is not small, the towel rack is installed above the toilet, which is both unhygienic and impractical. 3. The unit is advertised as a two-bedroom space that can accommodate up to five people, which reasonably creates the expectation of having two bathrooms. However, the upstairs bathroom is locked and used as a storage room. This becomes highly inconvenient, as guests have to wait excessively long to use a single bathroom. 4. The doorbell issue that was reported earlier was never resolved. 5. The air conditioner remote control was initially not working, but a replacement was only provided later at night. 6. Only two out of four elevators were functioning. During checkout time, it became extremely difficult to get an elevator. Once inside, it stopped at almost every floor due to high demand. It took my family and me nearly an hour just to get from the 22nd floor to the car park. There was also no proper ventilation or air conditioning inside the elevator, which made the situation very uncomfortable and almost suffocating. 7. There is only a mirror in the bathroom, which makes it very inconvenient for guests (especially women) to get ready or do makeup. On a positive note, the overall room cleanliness was acceptable, although the towels could be improved. The interior design is visually appealing at first glance. However, the layout is not practical. Watching TV from the sofa is uncomfortable as it is positioned at an awkward angle. To face the TV directly, everyone has to sit in a row on the stairs, which is quite inconvenient. Overall, while the design may initially attract guests, the functionality and basic comfort fall short of expectations."
