EEddy MeisterI stayed at Asiatic Hotel Melaka and booked the Family Suite with jacuzzi. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with a living area, balcony, and in-room spa bath. While it’s not a true duplex layout, the suite still felt roomy and comfortable for families or groups. The jacuzzi was definitely the highlight – perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the city. Amenities such as WiFi, smart TV, minibar, and toiletries were all provided, making the stay convenient. Parking is available in front of the hotel, free but limited on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you arrive during peak hours, you might need to circle around to find a spot. Location is excellent – close to major attractions like Jonker Street, A Famosa, and shopping malls (Dataran Pahlawan, Mahkota Parade). There are plenty of eateries and convenience stores nearby, so dining is not an issue even though the hotel doesn’t have its own restaurant. One small downside is the soundproofing; you can sometimes hear noise from the hallway. The lift is also on the smaller side, so it can get busy during peak times. Overall, Asiatic Hotel Melaka is a great choice if you want a spacious suite with jacuzzi, free parking, and a central location. It’s comfortable and good value, especially for families or friends traveling together.

GGuest UserThe location was fine and the house was historical but we had two major issues with this place. First, the water from the sink looked orange. So we were too scared to use it for washing let alone drinking. We had to rely on the provided bottled water. Second, the toilet was outside of the room (we booked a garden room). So we had to sit in heat and mosquitos whenever we used the toilet. Additionally, we didn't like that they insisted on paying the deposit which was never mentioned in the booking confirmation or room information. We also had some communication issues when getting back the deposit after check out as the staff couldn't speak English and had to call another staff to understand what was going on.

WWong GLLocation is great as it is next to Joners Street. However, the seems like a half-hearted attempted to build a home stay. The amenities are really basic and anything who wants to here must be prepared for all the shortfalls. I will highlight just a few. The owner has kindly make available mosquito incense but you need to have your own matches or lighter which we don't have. The water flow from the shower and to the toilet sink is quite poor. It was very low on a couple of days and badly affected our conveniences. Lastly, the wall and ceiling are not well insulated. When there are people staying on the upper floor, every foot steps can be heard very loudly so much as that my partner, who is very tolerant of such things, even suggested to go up and ask the occupants to tread lightly. The place has a lot of potential. But for now it is definitely not one that I would return to stay.

SsYEOkThe room was clean and came with standard amenities. The best part of booking here was the parking they provided. The service was good, and the check-in process was simple and straightforward. No cash deposit was required. Even when I checked out three hours earlier than noon the next day, they still allowed me to park my car there until 12:30 PM until we were ready to go back to KL. I really appreciate that, as usually there are charges. My overall experience at this 3-star hotel was good.

GGuest UserHad a great stay at Grand Flora Hotel Melaka! Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff were super friendly. The room was clean, comfy, and had everything I needed. Location is really convenient — close to attractions and good food. Breakfast was tasty with a nice variety. Overall, a cosy and pleasant place to stay in Melaka.

AAzha SyazriOverall stay was okay. Room felt a bit compact but still comfortable. Nice queen bed with very comfortable pillows. Toilet and shower work well. As for breakfast, choices are limited but still good enough to have a wonderful experience to start my day. The only issue was the parking is located at Hatten Hotel as Estadia does not have spaces for parking. Felt a bit troublesome there. Parked at public parking near the shop rows and took own risk.

ZZhongyang～NioThe room is small and has few facilities. Fortunately, I made a plan in advance and brought my own washing supplies. The surrounding environment is indeed very simple. If you want to go to a more lively place, you should consider staying close to the central area. Eating is not convenient. The rooftop open-air restaurant opens at 7pm and closes at 12pm. It has hamburger-like food and some drinks. The decoration is retro and a little rock. You can enjoy the night view and a moment of peace. The most regrettable thing is that it is close to the sea, but you can't see the sea.

AAnonymous UserQuite clean if you compare to other similar standard hotels in the area, booked it at a cheap rate so cannot complain much for the price paid… Soap is somehow 3-in-1… Wifi was good when I checked in, but got pretty bad when i returned from dinner… not sure what happened… lazy to go down to the reception so just slept early Overall, it was alright. Location was amazing tho, 10 mins to the nearest mall, heng chicken rice balls across the street :)

GGuest UserThe hotel has provided the facilities as committed in their booking-page in the acceptable condition to their customer, i.e. me. Despite it is a budget hotel only and the overall appearance is slightly vintage :D, the room, the bed/mattress/blanket, bathroom, showering water heater, etc. are still clean and in acceptable condition. Besides, if communicated/spoken to the hotel, it has self check-in option for the check-in after business operation hour, i.e. mid night. Travelers can acquire the room key/card by themselves from a locker with a provided pin code. These enable me to have a good rest after making an urgent booking in night time, travel over 100km then reach the hotel at 1.30 a.m. mid night. The attached photos show the self check-in/out facility, public drinking-water-dispenser and fire extinguisher. Although I can't expect much from a budget, I would like to suggest that the air-con in the room to have service/maintenance so that it won't produce much noise. By the way, the noise only distract us slightly from having rest. After all, based on the offered/discounted price, the room is satisfactory and recommended.
