GGuest UserThis time I chose the Dusit Thani Princess Hotel in Malacca, Malaysia. Since I took a long-distance bus from Kuala Lumpur to Malacca, I arrived at the hotel after 3 PM. At the front desk, the staff upgraded me to a room on a higher floor and gave me a 50 MYR dining voucher. I immediately went to the Western restaurant on the first floor and filled my stomach with warm pasta and a vegetable salad, which was incredibly heartwarming. The room was quite spacious with a great view, overlooking the scenery of Malacca, with the Malacca River below. It's a five-minute drive to the Red Square (Dutch Square), the lively Jonker Street, and other main attractions like the A Famosa ruins. The breakfast offered a rich mix of Chinese and Western dishes. The staff member, Joey, even patiently helped me download a ride-hailing app, which was very thoughtful. This hotel left me with wonderful memories and is highly recommended!

MMeichemeifangmeiqianThis hostel is absolutely fantastic! The location is superb – super close to the Stadthuys, Jonker Street, and St. Paul's Hill. You can get here directly from Malacca Central Station by taking the M100 bus; it's about a 10-minute walk from the Hatten Hotel bus stop. The ground floor is a common area with a washing machine, dryer, kitchen, and even a media room, plus lots of cats! I stayed on the third floor this time, and you do have to carry your own luggage up, so keep that in mind if you have big bags. It's great that the bathroom, toilet, and washbasins are all on the same floor. The only minor point is that each bed only has one power outlet, which might not be enough, but there are extra outlets in the room that you can use with an adapter, so that makes up for it.

PPaste-Melaka is definitely worth an overnight stay; many people just do day trips, but Melaka at night has a special charm. E’ House is run by a Chinese family, so communication in Chinese was very smooth. The room had a lovely Nanyang-style vibe, and the facilities were excellent. Although the soundproofing wasn't great, the customer service assistant responded immediately after we gave feedback, and we still managed to get a good night's sleep. From the guesthouse, it’s just a few minutes’ walk to the Melaka River, and then you can follow the river all the way to Jonker Street.

MMeha BahnanVery comfortable hotel with a pool, suitable for kids. Great location near the River Cruise jetty, and walking distance to Dataran Pahlawan along the riverside path. Beautiful views... worth it. Shops, especially Speedmart99 and Mamak Sri Sahabat, have really delicious and affordable food. The staff, from top to bottom, are all kind, friendly, and welcoming. You should definitely stay at this hotel... it's worth it. I stayed 1 night, then extended to 3 nights! 😆😆

沈沈维聪（沈哥三少）Superb location. Near to major shopping centre and places of interest. Is a small hotel with no swimming pool. Except a small fitness studio. Highest floor is level 6. Use to hv direct access from hotel to the shopping centre. But it is closed after COVID.
Some tips for the prospective customers.
If you are going to the Dataran Pahlawan shopping centre. Please take the lift to G floor walk towards Hatten hotel entrance, walk towards the Baun Buffel direction, u saw a lift near to their sales gallery. Took to 2nd floor (before 9pm) and walked towards the Dataran Pahlawan shopping centre. GSC cinema at L5.
Walk inside the shopping centre where you saw a common area where you saw Mixue or Levis boutique. Walk towards the Brands outlet and you will see an exit. Took that exit it will lead you to the farmosa, red square, St Paul fort, Jonker street.

The unit is enough for 6 adult. Aircon work good at living room, but not at the 3 bed room. They need to fix it.
We have decent stay at the unit, towel and drinking water provided. One thing minus from the building is the Elevator, only 2 slow Elevator to provide all the unit with 26th floor.
There is one time we need to go emergency exit just to go down to the ground floor. 😅

JjaybbThe good... location is near malls, can walk to heritage sites for tourists, price is not expensive, nearby bus terminal at Hatten Hotel. Good for just sleeping and then do your sightseeing. Aircon works, fridge also halfway there. Plenty of food options all around, convenience stores for your needs.
The bad... dated. While it is still relatively clean, the rooms feel dilapidated. Floors are peeling off, curtains torn, windows cannot fully close off, lights dim. I've found too many bagworms that I've given up on throwing them away - in the cabinet, in toilet.
So, if you don't mind all these and just need an affordable place to sleep, this hotel can be an option. If you are those tai-tai who expects high crass place, look elsewhere. Note: Carpark is linked to hotel at Level 2 & 3.

AAnonymous UserI recently stayed at this budget hotel, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. While the check-in process via WhatsApp was smooth and convenient, the overall condition of the hotel was poor.
The biggest issue was the cleanliness. The room did not feel well maintained, and the bedsheets and towels were old, worn out, and noticeably yellowish, which made the stay quite uncomfortable.
