Shengqibobo85haoThis hotel is a scenic spot in itself! The vintage Nanyang-style architecture, from the lobby to the hallways and the terrace, is incredibly well-designed in every corner. Every snapshot is a masterpiece. Our two families took over a hundred photos just within the hotel, no need to even go out looking for photo opportunities.
The room also exceeded expectations – clean, tidy, and warmly decorated with comfortable bedding and excellent water pressure in the shower. We had a very pleasant stay. The location is absolutely unbeatable – within walking distance to Jonker Street. Turn right outside the door and you're just a few minutes away from Jonker Walk, making it incredibly convenient for night markets, delicious food, and night river cruises, saving you the hassle of taxiing back and forth.
If you're coming to Malacca, I genuinely recommend staying here. You can enjoy the tranquil Nanyang old-world charm within the hotel, yet easily immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere of Jonker Street anytime. It offers superb value for money, and I'll definitely choose this place again next time!

Guest UserThe location is incredibly convenient. Just downstairs and around the corner, there are so many food options within walking distance – you'll never go hungry, even without a car. It's also super close to San Shu Gong Red House, about a 10-minute walk. The room itself was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. Plus, the restaurant right next door downstairs is delicious!

The location is great, just a few doors away from the BaBa House which just happen to be a lot more renovated and furnished and they charged $250 for the same period i stayed in at Hereen Palm Suites which cost me $105 via Trip.com. It is just 3 minutes walk to Jonker Street and is on the quieter side so you dont get bothered by car traffic and human yet is convenient enough to all the shops and eateries.
The whole place has only 10 suites and the rooms are HUGE and clean. Bathroom is huge and water pressure is great and heater works very well, if i am to be picky, it will be complete if they have a bathtub and they should install some toilet hangers for the clothes when you shower.
The room aircon is via concealed vents , so its well distributed compared to a standalone FCU unit. Aside from teh bed there is also a daybed in the room, which is comfy and great for lazing and watching the TV.
The only flaw i can pick is the mini fridge was not working in my room.
Outside of the room, i wish they can open the window in the common area/ corridor, as all the internal space are really not ventiated and they dont turn on the A/C, so you cannot really enjoy the common spaces.
Overall, its super value for money and breakfast provided was quite good spread and tasty enough, no complains given that its complimentary.
I would give it 8/10 rating.

Anonymous UserDecided on this hotel mainly due to its ideal location and availability of family room. Room is wide, but quite old and don't think there is any effort done to maintain the room condition. At night the aircon can be quite noisy, this may be an issue to those are sensitive to sound.

Anonymous UserRun by a Chinese owner, the ground floor houses a restaurant that seems to cater to tour groups. The hotel rooms are spacious and well-equipped, featuring central air conditioning and USB charging ports, so no adapters are needed. Its location is excellent, right near Jonker Street and with the Malacca River just behind it. The only downside might be the small and slow elevator. There's a 100 MYR cash deposit required for the stay, which is refunded instantly upon check-out.

The advantage of the room is that it is cheap and close to Klebang Beach, so you can go to the beach. If you have a limited budget, it is good for one night.
The disadvantage is that the sound insulation is very poor. The sound insulation for the outside and other rooms is almost non-existent. You can hear the conversation next door, and there is no shielding for the sound of motorcycles and cars outside. Three bath towels are provided in the triple room, and other toiletries and slippers need to be prepared by yourself, and remember to bring a socket adapter.
The front desk guy's English is average, but his attitude is very kind and friendly, and he communicates patiently, which is great👍

Holly QShower head water pressure too strong, cannot be adjusted. Housekeeping early morning 9am starting to knock the door twice for make up room until I put do not disturb sign. 24 hours receptionist never answer the call, need to take 1 hour to deliver water and towel for me.
Overall, the stay experience was not very good. The room was spacious but felt empty. The price was reasonable and offered value for money, but I would not choose to stay here again. This was a last minute booking. The view from balcony is nice!

The spacious family room offered stunning ocean views, and the hotel facilities, including a large pool, sea view and bath tub . beyond expectation ! but Long waiting for lift to checkout due to The time between a hotel's standard checkout . I understand when housekeeping has the fewest hours to turn over the rooms, so any late checkouts are particularly disruptive.

Overall, the experience was acceptable
the ocation was convenient about a 10-15 minute ride to the city centre, which made getting around quite easy.
However, there were several issues during our stay
Cleanliness: We noticed some smallinsects on the floor. While it didn't significantly affect aur stay, it would be better if the rooms could be more thoroughly checked and cleaned.
Customer Service: All communication had to be done online through WhatsApp, as there was no face-to-face front desk service. This was quite unconventional and sometimes made things less convenient when we needed assistance urgently.
Room Equipment: One of the air conditioners in our room kept switching on and off by itself and wasn't functioning properly. Even more concerning, the hairdryer had a short circuit, produced a burning smell, and even sparked flames. This was a frightening experience, and although it was eventually replaced, waiting a full day for such a serious issue was very disappointing.
