"Great location. Clean hotel. They said the renovations were on the lower floors when I was checking in and therefore wouldn't impact me. But on saturday and sunday, it felt like the construction work was happening in my room so that wasn't great. I only received a message about the construction work after I had checked in and booked. There is no reference of the construction and update taking place at the hotel on the website"

"the location is good. checking in was ok other then you have to pay for parking in the garage. we had to change our room two times. doing to the fact the bathroom every time we took a shower water got every where and we had to keep cleaning it then mold in the bathroom. then the next room ac didn't work . then day of check out when check out was at 11 we left to go get breakfast and when we came back it was around 9:45am and they were cleaning out our room and felt like we were getting pushed out. i wasn't happy about it at all. the pictures they have of the hotel isn't their hotel it's the hotel next door."

"Loved the hotel and the amenities. Especially enjoyed the rooftop bar and pool area, the beach towel and chair being included, and the overall set up of the hotel. Great location, food and drinks. Would highly recommend to others and will happily book another trip here again."

"This hotel is amazingggg, first don’t even get me started on the location the heart of Miami, it is so close to everything and like a 3 minute walk to the beach. It is so clean and the staff were so sweet and amazing. I definitely recommend and I will be coming back.o"

"Maybe it was because the price of Ctrip was low. When we arrived at the hotel, I was told that the room I booked was full. The hotel said that I would give me a free upgrade. I was very happy, but when I saw the room, I found that the room was not upgraded. On the contrary, I have a feeling of downgrading. I booked a balcony, but this room not only has no balcony, but also a room facing the platform on the first floor. The room is obviously old. There is a reception on the platform all night, very noisy. "Appena arrivata c'erano tre ragazzi alla reception che informavano sul soggiorno e sui servizi eccetera./ alla reception viene allestito un servizio di benvenuto Purtroppo non ho usufruito della piscina perché avevo poco tempo ma c'erano delle persone che si sono intrattenute in piscina anche nel tardo pomeriggio/ una stanza pulitissima mi accoglieva e con grande piacere ho visto e posso confermare che c'era la macchinetta Nespress e una bottiglia grabde di lacqua minerale. un fattore in più per la mia scelta! il kit bagno dentifricio cuffia doccia e spazzolino non c'erano, dovete chiederlo alla reception //i prodotti all'interno del bagno erano ottimi e in gran quantità consiglio vivamente questo albergo ottima posizione e trattamento consiglio vivamente"

"Good breakfast, self-service type, but the hotel suggested tipping the waiter, we gave 2 knives, many foreigners I saw there is no, this looks like random, two big beds, we used one, the hotel location Not bad, just near South Beach. I added more than 43 knives in two days. I read the comments in advance and know that I want to add them. It looks like a city tax. Anyway, I need to count about 800 for a night. "We live in Key West and come to Miami every 2-3 months. We have stay at this hotel, the Fontainebleau, or one of the 2 Kimptons for 5 years and always had a great experience at this hotel until this trip. It started at check in The guy at the desk “Carlos” was rude from the beginning. He was a smart aleck about everything. It was my wife’s birthday trip and it was definitely not the way we wanted to start it. Our room was hot and we didn’t have enough towels. We had dinner reservations and were going to see Andrea Bocelli. When we got back the room was still hot but we were exhausted from the day so we went to sleep. At 6:0am it was so hot it woke us up. My wife went to the front desk and a very nice Eloisa was there and helped my wife and they sent someone to look at it after 5 minutes it was working. I asked what was wrong and he said “it had a bubble in it” but acted like he couldn’t speak any more English. The thermostat was on cool and set 60° but the room never got below 74° at 6:00am. When my wife went to ask for a Double Tree Cookie she was told they were no longer a double tree hotel. This is one of the main reasons we stayed there and it has definitely changed. When we got there The Miami Dolphins were playing in Miami and every TV in the awesome bar area was off and I asked “Carlos” if they could turn the game on and was told it was under renovation but there was no sign of construction and if it was it had nothing to do with the tvs in the lobby. The entire vibe here is not what it was the last time we stayed here. This is a great location and one of the only hotels that still has a hot tub “but it only works half of the time”. He was also a **** about the pool towel card policy and said if I didn’t return the nasty reused card I would be charged $25 per card just to get a towel by the pool. If you do decide to stay there and there is a 20 something Spanish guy at the desk come back later for the sake of your peace on vacation."

"Honestly, the Ritz-Carlton rarely disappoints, and this stay perfectly met my expectations for a South Beach getaway. The breakfast was incredibly rich and varied, especially the fruit selection which was abundant and unique. My only minor regret was the absence of a salad option, which felt a bit odd for someone used to having vegetables for breakfast. While the staff kindly brought me some avocado and tomato, it still felt like I was missing out on some Vitamin C. I'm not sure if it's a Southern thing to treat fruit as a vegetable, but the lack of salad was a bit surprising. What truly delighted me was finding out that the lobby featured Krigler, a perfume brand Audrey Hepburn loved. As a big fan of hers, I didn't hesitate to purchase a bottle."
