If this hotel is representative of what Marriott is doing with Westin's, the Westin brand is deteriorating. Plastic cups in the rooms like a Best Western. Quattro restaurant is poor; asked for glasses for wine and one glass was very dirty. Quattro delivered our dinner to the wrong room; when we got the dinner it was not what we ordered. Thermostat in room was 'dead'; if not fixed management would make us move everything to a different room at 8:30 pm. Maintenance found that when the filters were changed the thermostat was not turned on! And the guest had to discover the thermostat was not working. Westin still has comfortable beds. Fortunately the valet and front desk people were good--although the staffing is very thin until 7am when the nightshift ends! Do not recommend and will avoid Westins in the future.

Wanted a weekend staycation and it was perfect. Great Friendly staff, shower was one of my favorite things about it, it was in a prime location. The only thing that Dayton rate five stars was the breakfast, with the pandemic we understand the Buffay not being available, but the sack breakfast they provided was a banana and a banana muffin, no drinks, cereal, nothing else. Other than that we really enjoyed ourselves.

This hotel is centrally located in ”downtown” Clayton with easy access to highways and main roads throughout St. Louis. We got free parking for 2 of the 3 nights we were here and discounted parking on the third night. A substantial breakfast with an omelet and waffle bar is included. My only caveat is that there were special functions 2 of the 3 nights on the 7th Floor (ballroom) and we could hear/feel the thump of the bass on the 4th floor (it was louder in the bathroom, for some reason). Front desk staff acknowledged the ”noise” and noted that the event would end at 11 p.m. Not sure I'd stay here again, given the potential for that level of disturbance. Otherwise a clean hotel with attentive staff in a handy location.

My wife and I traveled to St Louis for a weekend trip. The Rennaissance was one of the lower priced options, but the hotel was amazing. Just off the interstate, making it easy to get to anywhere that you want to go. The room was very nice, clean, and in great shape. The breakfast buffet was simple, but the food was great! All-in-all, we will definitely look to stay here again on our next trip!

Really a good hotel. Just besides the car return and I can walk there in minutes.
Free breakfast and free dinner. Although very simple but never expected free dinner. Three drinks per day for free.
Shuttle to airport is provided any time when you are ready to go, not scheduled.
WiFi speed is more than 100mbps and stable. No limitations. Very good for video meetings for my work.
Highly recommended.

I arrived and was greeted promptly by a gentleman at the front desk. After taking care of the incidental hold, he handed me my key cards and directed me to the elevators. My room was large and very clean. It wouldve been helpful to have a guide of channels for the tv and washclothes in the room. The breakfast was ok with scrambled eggs, chicken patties, pastries, waffle makers, and 4 types of cereal. If I was more hungry than I had been, the selection could've been better. It is located near a ton of eateries and shopping.

Excellent
RReedPAn absolutely great location that is right across the street from the new St. Louis city soccer stadium, it's two blocks walking distance from the city market Union station area. It's easily accessible just off of I64.
The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and fairly well stocked. And the one downside would be the in room refrigerator. It was very tiny and had no freezer section, which depending on the visitor they may or may not need. I am coming from far enough away and with children that I needed to refreeze freezer packs for snacks.
The breakfast each morning was okay. It was scrambled eggs or scrambled eggs with cheese plus sausage. One morning it was a choice of turkey, sausage patties or pork sausage patties, while the next day was a choice of pork sausage links or chicken sausage links. Links. Plus they had the standard bread, English muffin, bagels, muffin, fruit. The downside would be the lack of waffle maker. I don't know why that makes a difference, because I don't really eat waffles. But my kid loves waffles and loves to make them. And instead of having a waffle maker, they had a hot plate filled with pre-made bagged frozen waffles that they had preheated for everybody. Oh yeah in my pics you'll see a pic of my kid's milk. IT wasn't expired, but the ad on it was and it gave me quite a scare when I saw it.
And depending on plans, and what I need to be close to, if need be I will definitely stay here again with my family. The area was safe, clean, and I forgot the funniest part... Directly across the street from the FBI. LOL 😂🚓🚔
GGuest Usermy room was on the 6th floor (625)right below the bar/night club. This was on a Friday night. I wanted peace and quiet in my room after a long drive to St. louis. I not only heard the music but felt the bass. Called the front desk. They did lower the music and bass. The front desk did agree to switch my room the next day. If you book, ask Element not to put you on the 6th floor!
GGuest UserLocation in proximity to city attractions is amazing 5/5. Location in terms of safety is 2/5. There isn’t a covered secured lot for your car and I was approached by many people asking me for money while taking a walk around the building. Service is hit or miss. When I arrived, and attempted to open my car door, I was accosted by the valet who yelled at me and asked me what I was TRYING to do. I told him I was checking in to the hotel. And he was aggressively unpleasant, seemingly angry that I had arrived. Conversely, the valet attendant the next day was polite and wonderful. The front desk was nice but did not review any of the amenities nor offer any information about the hotel, which is a shame. Nice but inattentive and uninterested. The service at both Idol Wolf and Good Press were 5/5. The food at both were 5/5. The hotel itself is gorgeous. There’s art set in an old gym. The renovation is well done. Enjoyed it very much. The view from the room was also very nice. The room itself was standard with a few attention to detail things needing addressed. Such as broken handles and non working bathroom fixtures. Overall would recommend this hotel because it is unique. Big plus - they allow pets!!! Yes!
BBubuThe hotel is old, but clean, the location is close to the university town and the forest park, it is more convenient for families to go to WashU. But going to school and other places depends on Uber
GGuest UserThe hotel has been recently remodeled and is lovely. The rooms are very comfortable. The location is great--close to everything. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. I wish I could name them all. The event manager, Neil, was very helpful . We were in town for a wedding and many of the guests stayed here. The lobby was a great space for us to gather in and visit. I would highly recommend this hotel.
GGuest UserMy boyfriend and I had the opportunity to stay at The Last Hotel at the last minute for a concert in town this weekend. From the check-in to the valet parking option to our deluxe king room on the 9th floor, our overall experience at this hotel has been truly above and beyond. Our room was immaculate, spacious, beautifully designed and very clean. The beds and linens are of top notch quality and no expense has been spared in ensuring the comfort of the guest. Furthermore the hotel staff were all very friendly, professional, and accommodating if we had any questions or needed help with anything. They made us feel welcome and cared for. The final selling point of this hotel is that there is a gorgeous rooftop pool and bar. My boyfriend and I enjoyed a lovely sunny 71° afternoon up on this private rooftop area that is only open to hotel guests. If you are truly on the fence about staying here or the splurge, I cannot recommend this place enough. It will not disappoint! We plan to make this our designated hotel for all future stays. Thank you at The Last Hotel!
GGuest UserSuper clean and friendly hotel especially if Dori is working. I use this hotel when I take my daughter to doctor appointments and have always been treated great. Dori goes above and beyond to help me out accommodating our needs for my special needs daughter. Without her here I wouldn't think so highly of the place. Great work Dori!!!
GGuest UserExcept for the location, which is a bit biased, everything is good, breakfast is rich, there is a free shuttle bus within three kilometers, the room is comfortable, the kitchen is complete, and the use is convenient, all in all very satisfactory.
TtutuguangGoing to the exhibition, very close to the location of the exhibition, very convenient, but the others are very general, there is no place to be fun, but there are many restaurants around, eating is more convenient
