Popular St. Louis 4-star Hotels

We stayed here over the weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The hotel and grounds are phenomenal. I highly suggest paying the couple dollars extra for valet parking- saves TONS of walking and time! The valet staff were very professional and accommodating. Upon arrival, (it was very late at night) we arrived and pulled up to the hotel- valet immediately came out and offered to assist; I asked for general hotel parking and was kindly directed toward the area- upon arrival to that area (not really close to the entrance- general parking lot is like $35/day)- we chose to return to front door valet for $40.... Parking is overall expensive. But, we were assisted in unloading our car and immediately taken to our reserved room. Hotel is very impressive, the lobby is beautiful- and the property is rich with history (former actual station); the room was nice, very clean, and quiet- despite the multiple wedding events occurring over the weekend. There are many restaurant and food service/delivery options available. The staff was the BEST! The grounds included hourly light shows over pier/Koi fish pond; Landry Seafood onsite, along with- Ferris wheel (my kids loved), putt-putt golf, small slide/park area... It was really a great experience to stay here. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and has multiple on-site entertainment options (along with an aquarium)- minutes SAFE walk to multiple major attractions. Bed was incredibly comfortable. We stayed long enough to need extra towels- I notified/requested the front desk for additional, and they were delivered to our room within 10 minutes. Upon arrival, we were unable to locate the TV remote- called the front desk and was immediately delivered a new remote for the TV. We did not have any major issues, but even our minor needs were met with utmost speed. I highly recommend this hotel for family and couples.

Unfortunately, due to a horrific experience at this hotel on Friday, March 10, but worse yet, how they handled it, more like, didn't handle it at all, it overshadowed any positive feedback I would have liked to have provided for this hotel. My husband and I have received zero communications/acknowledgment/not an ounce of compassion from ANYONE associated with this hotel, which all stems from an absolutely terrible experience - being stuck in this hotel's small elevator for over 80 minutes, late at night with anxiety ridden people and some VERY unfortunate circumstances including bladders filling up! We were told from someone over the speaker that we would be out in 10 minutes when their elevator company arrives, which turned into 30 minutes with no one showing up nor any updates. Not because of the hotel staff, but because of my friends/family insisting, 911 was finally called and the fire department was dispatched. Saturday morning we asked to speak with management and were told that management wasn't there on the weekends. We checked out on Sunday, and asked that a manager call us on Monday. Nothing. 7 days later, and there has been ZERO communication from this property's management. We didn’t even receive an apology nor receive any acknowledgement about our experience from the desk clerks that weekend. Nothing. Unbelievable and inexcusable. I'm disgusted, disappointed, now angry and disturbed by the silence, disregard and lack of compassion from this establishment.

The location is very good, very close to the arch, the family likes hilton's bed very much, Ctrip's booking is super cost-effective, and breakfast is given as a gift. The hotel is not very convenient for parking. On the opposite side, parking is about 27 dollars a night.

It rained on the day we went, the rain stopped and there was a rainbow near the arch. It can be seen in the hotel room. The accommodation is good and the service is also very good. There are restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacies and side doors within 200 meters. Arches and the old court, you can take the subway in ten minutes, it is the subway, don't follow the Google map on the road lost ~ strongly recommend the sushi love on the main road, there is a 20-knife buffet, very good and delicious, right, Please bring your own slippers and toothbrush toothpaste. Many foreign hotels do not provide ~

My boyfriend and I had the opportunity to stay at The Last Hotel at the last minute for a concert in town this weekend. From the check-in to the valet parking option to our deluxe king room on the 9th floor, our overall experience at this hotel has been truly above and beyond. Our room was immaculate, spacious, beautifully designed and very clean. The beds and linens are of top notch quality and no expense has been spared in ensuring the comfort of the guest. Furthermore the hotel staff were all very friendly, professional, and accommodating if we had any questions or needed help with anything. They made us feel welcome and cared for. The final selling point of this hotel is that there is a gorgeous rooftop pool and bar. My boyfriend and I enjoyed a lovely sunny 71° afternoon up on this private rooftop area that is only open to hotel guests. If you are truly on the fence about staying here or the splurge, I cannot recommend this place enough. It will not disappoint! We plan to make this our designated hotel for all future stays. The hotel is convenient for parking. You can enter and exit the parking lot with your room card. There is a microwave oven and a laundry room on the third floor of the hotel. There is a supermarket next to the hotel, which makes life convenient. The bed in the twin room is narrow and not suitable for four people.

If this hotel is representative of what Marriott is doing with Westin's, the Westin brand is deteriorating. Plastic cups in the rooms like a Best Western. Quattro restaurant is poor; asked for glasses for wine and one glass was very dirty. Quattro delivered our dinner to the wrong room; when we got the dinner it was not what we ordered. Thermostat in room was 'dead'; if not fixed management would make us move everything to a different room at 8:30 pm. Maintenance found that when the filters were changed the thermostat was not turned on! And the guest had to discover the thermostat was not working. Westin still has comfortable beds. Fortunately the valet and front desk people were good--although the staffing is very thin until 7am when the nightshift ends! Do not recommend and will avoid Westins in the future.

I booked the hotel when attending Transworld, a trade show that happens in St. Louis every year. The decor is lovely and the breakfast and cocktail hour in the early evening is terrific! My room was well equipped and the bed and pillows comfortable. I will definitely recommend the hotel to friends visiting St. Louis!

The hotel was an experience that we enjoyed. The decor and staff was awesome. We enjoyed your courteous staff: Rodger, Kevin and Mike; along with a few others, who tended to our need. The breakfast was awesome the staff person who prepared the eggs knew how to cook them. The phone booth and guard at the front entrance was amazing you really felt like you were in London. We just had a taste of London which is on our list of things and places to go and try. The Cheshire is a hidden gem. Thanks for a lovely experience.
