Best Hotels in San Cataldo, Italy

Arrived in Lecce hotel to hot rooms, no in room internet, cots in rooms? closed pool and location in middle of no where. Very Late to try to organize a dinner in Lecce (on a Friday night) Hotel food service was disapponting . Limited menu, poor service, unpleasant a**osphere (in a large banquet hall) This hotel was a big disappoin**ent. Too far from the city as we were booked in for three nights as part of a tour package. Hotel tried to tell us that rooms do have wifi internet. Previous reviews on social media say that this hotel has spotty/no Wi-Fi in rooms. Appears to be on going issue. Given it is classed as a conference centre I don't know why they didn't have suitable internet. Throughout our other 3 weeks in Italy it was never a problem. Guests should be informed prior to stay that outdoor pool closes Sept 1st. Would have definitely spent last afternoon at pool if we could. Instead, looked at a green pool through the window. Generally grounds looked a bit overgrown and under managed. Surrounding area around hotel and roads leading into hotel were dirty and unkept.

We stayed 4 nights in this luxury hotel . Although it was in the second half of September all the services required were possible . It is excellent breakfast with a menu with local products and cooked at the moment plus self-service table , gentle and always with excellent tips Giusy Domenico and Martina from beautiful eyes . The spacious room , huge bathroom with equally spacious shower , terrace view large pool with table and cut flowers . The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable and it is very good to stay in the hotel . Good restaurant , not too long menu and pettinates cooked well and especially tasteful . We stayed here for two nights at the end of our cycling holiday. The staff were excellent and the room very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. We got help with the bicycles which was very good. Would highly recommend if you want to stay in Lecce

Nestled within the walls of a high-ceilinged old building, my recent stay at this hotel was quite enchanting. The room was very spacious and clean, with comfortable sitting area. The high ceilings really added to the overall spaciousness and felling of coziness. The bathroom was also very spacious equipped with all the toiletries. I also appreciated the hotel's amenities, including the beautiful dining area. The breakfast options were diverse and tasty, providing a great start to my day. The minor issues: the shower water was not hot enough to my like, and Wifi was slow.

We were welcomed by a friendly staff. The place looks really nice with all sorts of unique Arabic style decorations. A very pleasant place to relax with a hugh 40x40 meter pool. You can also use the spa area. Very nice is the back garden where you can chill out on your outdoor bed and couch. Breakfast was extensive. The only negative thing were the plastic cups in the room and plastic foiled slippers. I would have expected more sustainable solutions.

The city is small and the location is convenient. The room is large and the balcony is very large. It's very comfortable. The city's water quality is relatively hard, and it's not recommended to drink the boiled water with a kettle. The hotel does not provide drinking water, you need to buy it yourself.

People make or break a holiday and Gianluca and Marika ensured our stay was exemplary. From pre arrival contact via watts app, to friendly greeting on arrival ( with a complementary tasty bottle of local wine) ,to bespoke breakfast orders on the roof terrace (the best we have experienced this year in Italy and we have visited Several areas ) local restaurant and trip recommendations ( Il Vico Del Gusto and I Latini were particular favourites - and we welcomed the assistance Gianluca provided in booking them) and genuinely friendly people willing to give you time to chat and enquire about your day and life. Assistance was also given in finding free parking around the corner or guidance to an affordable pay car park if needed. We were in a spacious and immaculately clean room on the first floor with welcome air conditioning (to beat the 43degree extreme and unusual heatwave) luxury toiletries, bedding and fridge . Negatives - none for us able bodied people ( Gianluca assisted with the luggage up the internal staircase) and the terrace is on the third floor You won’t be surprised to hear that we would have no hesitation in returning
