Tldr: I totally love this place. I was really surprised to learn the hotel was built in 1993, I had it marked as 20 years before that. The building, the signage, the fittings, even the coffee cups have a dapple of disco era cool. You can easily imagine some heavy boned made guy in smugglers and a ten tonne 'tache entertaining, I dunno, Claudia Cardinal at the swim up bar. I bet there were scenes. Now, though, the laminate is peeling and the cistern trickles insouciantly. Breakfast is a nespresso and a slice of cake from Lidl, but that's all you need after two gallons of fizzy wine, right? The staff are perfectly good natured as they go about doing the least they could possibly do. But you don't come here to enjoy the present, you come here to breathe the glory of the recent past. Solitamente non inserisco recensioni ma stavolta credo sia necessario per informare i futuri visitatori della struttura. Dalla mia prenotazione risultava che avevo prenotato una camera vista mare ma quando faccio presente che la mia camera non ha la vista mare mi viene detto ‘lo sappiamo ma i consulenti del sito ci dicono di scrivere così in modo da vendere di più’. La struttura è davvero molto vecchia, tutti gli ascensori sono fuori uso, la colazione è composta da un paio di torte e crostate rigorosamente confezionate e un caffè fatto con la classica macchinetta casalinga frog. Inoltre la reception chiude alle ore 22 e tutte le zone alberate esterne sono completamente non curate e piene di piante secche. Consiglio una grande rimodernata perché al momento, a mio avviso, non è da considerarsi un 4 stelle.

Pessimo hotel vecchio in abbandono con condizionatori datati e non funzionanti con termostati che segnavano 32 gradi nelle camere. Un albergo pubblicizzato come un hotel a stelle ma fasullo...una truffa.

Era un albergo che dava tutti i servizi di un 4 stelle, non distante dalla tangenziale di Catania e con un bel giardino pieno di piante grasse. Oggi praticamente non ci sono servizi: la colazione è impossibile perché mancano sia il bar sia il ristorante, la reception termina alle 22 e quindi non si può arrivare tardi. E ‘ rimasto solo il giardino.

un nobile decaduto, questa è l'idea, credo che 20 anni fa era tutt'altro. Camere d'epoca, con wifi poco funzionante, Assenza d bar e personale ridotto al minimo. Bello il salone principale con affresco del 600 in bella mostra anche se con tappeti e divani che palesano l'età L'opzione vista mare è inspiegabile tenuto conto degli alti alberi che non ne danno l'opportunità. Doveva essere ben altra cosa, peccato. Ma tutto sommato ci si sopravvive bene, certo che la colazione non servita (ma era scritto) rappresenta un handicap
