Great hotel! We stayed here for 6days it was a blessing. They change towels every day, clean the room and restock amenities.We asked them several times to take us to the beach in a different time from usual schedule and they took us there with pleasure. You can do your laundry for free, swim at pool till late hours. When you check in they give you coupons for discounts at hotel’s cafe. They even offered a taxi pick up from the airport for free. Lovely staff that tries to speak English and be helpful. The breakfast has a sandwich with fries and unlimited coffee. The hotel itself is stylish and trendy. If I ever come to Sanya I’ll prefer staying here. The distance from food/beach is about 5 min walking. Wi-Fi works perfectly!

We have booked room with breakfast. In China main problem for vegetarian people is Food, here you can’t find vegan food easily. We stayed in holiday inn for 2 night and 2 nights in other hotel, While i checked in i asked front desk to ask restaurant to prepare vegan food for us but he said they have many things inside , you can take vegetarian food by yourself, but first day in breakfast we could not eat anything other than plain rice and fruit because everything contains meat or egg. Then i talked to one of hotel staff Name LUCAS who can speak good english. He helped us to convey our requirements to restaurant manager then on second day we could get proper breakfast. Lucas also helped us to talk to our other hotel manager about our food restrictions so that we could get vegan food over there too LUCAS helped us for other all difficulties too. being non Chinese people its not easy for us to survive in china because we don’t know chinese language and we are vegetarian people. But LUCAS became superman for us and overcome all our problems. Thanks a lot LUCAS for your selfless service in all the way. There were definitely some positives and negatives about this hotel. First off, I will say the staff was very friendly. They would greet you with a smile wherever they saw you on property. I ate dinner at the poolside restaurant a few times and I enjoyed my food as well. Some negatives were that the hallway itself smelt moldy and nasty. Could be due to the carpeting, which was in bad condition, or all the old wood decor or a combo of both. My room smelt the same. The shower smelt like urine and some of the wood in the bathroom was rotting. I guess due to continuous exposure to water. I also didn’t like the fact that there was little accessibility for a stroller. Maybe I didn’t see it, but, to get down to the pool and most of the restaurants I only saw a staircase which was inconvenient to take my baby around. I did like the fact that it was right across the road from the beach, but, also somewhat far from the airport. Another positive is that they had a nice play area for the kids. My baby loved playing there. Everyone is different. Maybe you will enjoy this hotel. That is just a bit of my honest review.

We recently stayed at a villa in Sanya through Trip.com and also experienced the wonderful hospitality of The Palace Resort Yalong Bay Sanya. From the moment we arrived, Bill, a staff member at the resort, added us on WeChat and provided outstanding service throughout our stay. He was incredibly helpful and made everything so easy for us. While January was a bit chilly, we only used the Villa pool on the first day. However, the resort has a hot jacuzzi by the pool in Villa, which was perfect for the cooler weather. We simply messaged Bill on WeChat, and he promptly ensured we had access to it, which was a great touch. The resort’s location is excellent, with Yalong Bay beach just a short distance away, making it very convenient. If you’re traveling with kids under 10 years old, the free indoor play center within the resort is a fantastic feature. Our children had an amazing time there, and it added so much value to our stay. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with our experience and highly recommend this resort. The combination of beautiful surroundings, family-friendly amenities, and exceptional service from staff like Bill made our trip truly memorable. We can’t wait to visit again! Thanks to the housekeeper Xixi for upgrading the room. As soon as you open the door, you can see the Chinese garden and swimming pool. It is also very pleasant to drink milk tea and be in a daze on the balcony. Thanks to the housekeeper Xixi, the fruit sent the next day, the fruit in Sanya is sweet. I have always liked the feeling of staying at Swiss Mercure. The Chinese garden style makes people feel very comfortable. The hotel is very close to Baihua Valley and Yalong Bay Night Market. This time I took my father out for a trip. It is very convenient to eat and go to the beach. We walked from the hotel to the public beach of Yalong Bay for 5 minutes, looked at the sea, and also had the exclusive beach lounge chair of the hotel. Looking at the sea, going swimming, the whole person relaxed, what can't be contained by the ocean. Every day at noon and evening, I strolled around and ate in Baihua Valley, tasting the special Hainan cuisine: Wenchang chicken, mantis shrimp, Boston lobster, cool tonic, shaved ice, dregs vinegar hot pot, various Sichuan fusion dishes, and the mood of traveling was also very pleasant. Take a taxi from the hotel to Yalong Bay Forest Park, the starting price is about 10 yuan. It's only 27 kilometers to Wuzhizhou Island, a half-hour drive. The mood for three days is very good. The hotel's buffet is served from 700 to 11:30 every morning, with a variety of Chinese and Western food: my favorite white radish roast duck, grilled sausage and bacon, dessert bread (love butter jam), a variety of delicious noodles, and my favorite raw beef slices (with salad dressing) and vegetable salad. Sitting in the restaurant and looking at the small fish pond outside, the taste and vision are both double enjoyment. The three-day stay experience is very comfortable. The aunt's room is also cleaned very clean, and two more bottles of water will be sent to us every day. Thanks again to Xixi housekeeper for your attention at any time. I will come again next time and recommend friends to stay (this time I also saw the ethnic torch performance of the Hainan girl, which is also an easter egg) The air conditioning temperature in the room at night is very cool and powerful (very friendly to me, a person who is afraid of heat). In the hot water and comfortable temperature of the shower, you can relieve your fatigue from a day's trip and welcome a new day!

Rooms and furniture need renovation. Water supply and sewerage need renovation. Breakfast is varied but tasteless (in my opinion). Traditional meal noodles, the person who cooks noodles does it as if he is serving a sentence and does it with contempt, arrogance (in my opinion). The hotel location near to the sea, but this beach is not intended for swimming. The staff at reception did not solve any issues, some bonuses were included in the stay, but it was not possible to use them due to the lack of interest of the staff. All attractions, shops and restaurants are located within 20 minutes walking distance. At Yalong bay the best place for stay is on the western side of the bay.

This is five star resort but stuffs can’t speak english. Communication was so hard for us. Electric problem was every day. Location and facilities were good 👍 We wanted bath with roses like at the trip pictures 😊 But there weren’t roses in the bath

Amazing Family Stay at MGM Hotel! We recently stayed as a family in one of the villas at the MGM Hotel, and it was truly an exceptional experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so warm and welcome. Every detail was taken care of, and the service was top-notch. The housekeepers were meticulous, ensuring our villa was always spotless and comfortable. A special mention to the staff at Neera restaurant—Lukas, Mark, and the lovely female restaurant manager went above and beyond to make sure we were well-fed and that our kids had the best time. Their attention and genuine care made every meal memorable. The buggy rides were a highlight, thanks to Aiger, who made them so fun and engaging for the whole family! And we can’t thank Miko enough— she owas always ready to help with anything we needed, making our stay seamless and stress-free. This was a perfect family getaway, and we can’t wait to return. If you’re looking for warm hospitality, impeccable service, and a great family-friendly environment, MGM Hotel is definitely the place to be. Highly recommend!

Great stay. We booked 2 similar rooms but got a free upgrade for one of the rooms. The villa was awesome but the pool access room was also really nice, both had very easy and quick access to the beach and the staff was always kind and fast in helping us. From the stay to the buffet dinner and breakfast to the way the staff dealt with us made it a chill and relaxing trip. There were a bunch of activities we didn’t even get to do and still had lots of fun!

We have been at different hotels in Sanya during the last years but since the time we discovered Marriot Sanya Yalong Bay we were so delighted and since that time we always come back. This time during national holidays it was not the exception on how a fabulous time we have spent during our 4 days stay. All the hotel maintenance is great, we love to spend the day between ocean and pool area and for that Fish bar restaurant is a spot we like a lot, around 6 PM q couple of great foreign singers play some amazing covers. Marriot Yalong Bay never disappoints us!!
