Riviera Town House

Lovely clean hotel throughout. Rooms are clean and loads of storage. tea coffee facilities in the rooms. Beds are very comfortable . I wish i could of taken it home with the pillows too. Staff are fantastic and very polite. Nothing is to much trouble. Breakfast was beautiful and perfectly cooked every day. I would highly recommend this hotel. Location was amazing. Multiple storey car park around corner as there is only parking for 3 hours at the front.

really lovely guest house. Nice big rooms comfy beds and really clean. breakfast was amazing and definitely worth the £10 per person. would highly recommend. ideal location and nice little touchs such as extra quilts and fans.

My partner and I stayed at Riviera Town House for 2 nights and it was very pleasant. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable, we had no issues with noise and slept very well, though it was very quiet anyway with it being October. The location of the hotel was great, just a 5 minute walk downhill to get to the seafront. We payed for breakfast as well and it was lovely, there was a selection of cereals, fruits, yoghurts and pastries, as well as a full English breakfast to enjoy. We opted for this both days and it was delicious. Also, the staff at the hotel were very friendly :)

Very clean and well looked after, everything you needed, good breakfast, friendly staff . Room a little on small side but a very large generous Lounge .

Visited and stayed for 5 nights. Very central location to the shops,eating places,train station and seafront all within walking distance . Room although small is practical with all basic amenities. Comfortable bed and very good lighting overhead .Only thing are the floorboards which creaked badly in the room and around the lounge area. Very good breakfast selection . Service was friendly.

Brilliant hotel, very clean, breakfast is available but we decided to have breakfast while we were out, There is no bar but there is a nice pub at the top of the road which is lovely. Very central close to the tram which takes you down to the beach, close to walk into the town centre five minutes away. Would definitely stay here again,

Stayed early September 2023 and the weather started off great. A fantastic location opposite the Grand hotel and central to most things. The hotel is clean and everything works ok. We mentioned my wife likes a cup of tea and before we had unpacked our bags there was a knock on the door and a bag of teabags and milk and sugar appeared. The room was small with a bit of a slope but the bathroom was large and roomy. There was a sea view from the corner of the bay window. The creaky floorboards meant it was noisy in the room and so were everyone else’s and we could hear them all. We could hear people struggling with the lift as well, so we were probably not going to have a quiet night. I should have twigged when I saw the jar of earplugs on the table. Yes we could hear people walking and talking in the adjacent rooms and even someone snoring but the real noise came from the streets three floors below. Between 1 and 4 am there were groups passing by and without fail they were loud and probably drunk. Breakfast was okay but nothing special. The milk on the tables was off and curdled in my coffee as it was probably left out all night but the staff ran around and replaced everyone’s jugs before most had noticed. Staff were generally helpful and friendly. We had booked for four nights but we had done most things and my wife had not slept much at all so we checked out after three. The King Richard lll is a great little sea-front bar for lunch and the Kam Sang restaurant is the best Chinese we have ever had. Can’t say I would stay at the Riviera again though.

Comfy bed rooms clean and tidy bathroom could do with updating lovely hot water from shower breakfast excellent loads of choice , central to everything. Weather was great added bonus. Beware if disabled as a bit hilly .but there are cable cars that take you up and down to beach front .

Lovely place and great location there are different rooms standard double or classic double these have different prices but the classic double is well worth the extra as lots more room and room 4 has a king sized bed and fantastic shower these classic doubles are at the front so offer a sea view lots of choice for breakfast and dietary requirements are attended to just mention these when booking they also will book as bed only but breakfast can be added for an additional cost We are returning customers and have visited regularly we will be returning in October 2023
