"Excellent location, right in the center but away from the noisy areas. Everything is easily accessible on foot. It's situated in a small square, which is convenient for taxis to drop you off right at the entrance. The aparthotel is new and tastefully decorated. The room is spacious with a mini-kitchen. The bathroom has a large shower (though the door opening inwards is a bit awkward). The sheets smelled wonderfully clean. They provide small individual portions of shower gel and conditioner, useful for a few days. The staff are friendly. The spa is nice, but the pool water was a bit cold. Overall, definitely recommended."

"The hotel is in a great location! Take the bus from the airport to the University Station, then pass through Old Town and you're there in 10 minutes. There are restaurants and attractions nearby, all within walking distance. The room was spacious and provided slippers, which was great. The mini bar items were also very affordable. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful. 5 stars! Highly recommended."

"Stayed for 3 nights in early September 2025. The hotel is located near the old town which is very convenient for sightseeing, as most of the places are within walking distance. It is refurbished from an old bank and retains the charm of the former building including a nice lobby which was previously the banking hall. They also have a vault with a bar within. The room was comfortable and had all the basic amenities including a safebox. They have USB charger built in as well. Wifi was fast. The hotel also does have a swimming pool in the basement with wet and dry sauna facilities. The old town is right behind the hotel. Staff were professional and I managed to have slightly early check in thanks to a trainee lady (I did not catch the name) who took time to helped look for available room."

"First of all, I'd like to thank the staff, who were always very friendly and helpful (there's even a WhatsApp messaging service for requesting information or services). The hotel is in a great location and is a new property, with modernly designed rooms that are spacious and equipped with multiple electrical outlets, perfect for charging your devices. The beds are really comfortable and the bathroom is a great size; I loved the kettle and the coffee machine with its various options, and I found a fresh bottle of water every day. Honestly, I would have liked to try breakfast at least one morning, but paying 150 euros for the room, spending 60 euros for two seemed a bit excessive. However, I understand that these are market dynamics and the price is probably fair. To be honest, I was kindly suggested to check the app to book it at a lower price (here on Trip, if I remember correctly, it was 23 euros), but after a few attempts, I couldn't find it and gave up, lol. Obviously 10/10. That being said, I thank and greet the staff once again for their helpfulness and kindness."

"Fantastic hotel, cannot fault anything. I mentioned it was my partners birthday before arriving and they set up the room with champagne and cake for him at no extra cost. Room service was brilliant, comfortable clean rooms. Amazing city views and entertainment in the hotel. Will deffo book again. Thank you."

"Grand Hotel Continental Bucuresti Review Having recently stayed at the Grand Hotel Continental in Bucharest, I can confidently say this establishment lives up to its grand name. The hotel exudes classic elegance, and the service was nothing short of exceptional. Special mention must go to Daniel, the bell boy, whose dedication to guest satisfaction went well beyond his duties, setting a remarkable standard for hospitality. The hotel's layout is thoughtfully designed, making navigation effortless for guests coming and going throughout their stay. Its pristine cleanliness and classical architecture create an atmosphere of refined luxury that perfectly complements its historical surroundings. Location-wise, the Grand Hotel Continental could not be better positioned. Stepping out of the main entrance, guests find themselves directly on Bucharest's main thoroughfare, with an abundance of restaurants, shops and cultural attractions within easy walking distance. The city's finest museums are mere minutes away, making it an ideal base for both leisure and business travellers. Whilst the breakfast was available, we found it rather expensive for what was offered. However, this was not an issue as we discovered a charming café directly across from the hotel that provided excellent morning fare at more reasonable prices. The rooms maintain the classical elegance found throughout the property, with comfortable furnishings and all modern amenities one would expect from a hotel of this calibre. The attention to detail in both the public spaces and private rooms reflects the hotel's commitment to maintaining its historic charm whilst providing contemporary comfort. In conclusion, the Grand Hotel Continental Bucuresti offers a superb hotel experience in the heart of Romania's capital. Despite the breakfast pricing, which is easily remedied by numerous nearby alternatives, the hotel's outstanding service, perfect location and classical charm make it a splendid choice for anyone visiting Bucharest. A truly commendable establishment that I would heartily recommend to fellow travellers."

"Great location - within 10-15 mins walking distance from most of the main sites. There’s also a metro station about 4 mins walk for visiting the other sites. It’s also a 4 mins walk to the meeting points for most tours. Hotel room - double bed was actually a double bed! :) Not two singles put together. Good amenities provided such as disposable slippers, shower gel, separate shampoo and conditioner, hand gel, body cream, face towels. Surprisingly no bathrobe was provided given the Hilton name but still a good hotel room overall. Cleanliness - generally clean but have knocked 1 star off because a couple of the towels had other people’s hair on them when I arrived. However these were replaced with clean ones during room cleaning. Staff - good level of spoken English and understanding. Most of the staff were friendly. They were able to accommodate my request for a quiet room. Overall, I’d recommend this hotel for its convenient location."
