4-Star Hotels in Bucharest

It's a good hotel, true to its standard. The rooms are clean and tidy. Complimentary tea, coffee, and water are available. The bathrooms and showers are clean and fully equipped. The downside is the Bucharest Expo site nearby. If there's a concert on, you can hear it even in rooms on the 9th floor. The only good thing is that the concerts don't finish until 11 PM. Near the hotel, there's a park where you can stroll, and a Hard Rock café with a great atmosphere and good food!

A very nice, modern hotel right in the center of Bucharest. Many attractions were within easy walking distance. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free. The breakfast was delicious and the service was excellent. Personally, I just missed having natural yogurt and bread rolls. We booked the cheapest room option, which meant it was quite small and a bit cramped, but it was modern and had all the amenities described. The view was good too. The gym had perfectly adequate equipment and was well air-conditioned. The pool was super clean, pleasantly warm, and never too crowded. Overall, it was a great hotel for a good price.

The stay was really great! the communication was smooth. The flat is clean and has everything one needs. I would ask the owner to consider adding a small trash bin in the bathroom, for women who need to dispose of certain things, without having to go back to the flat (my flat had a completely separate private bathroom, so I had to go through a small corridor to go back and forth, but this corridor is protected by a main door and gives access to only the flat and another one). The second suggestion would be to leave a roll of plastic bags, for the bin in the kitchen. The location is a bit far from the center, so if you want to stay for a short period, I would advise another location (it takes around 30min to get to the center). The area is rather quiet, although Bucharest is known for the heavy traffic (and, apparently, many speed drivers and cars with tuned exhausters?). The washing machine and the drying rack was a very nice bonus, they even leave some pods to do two loads. overall really great!

I cannot fault this hotel. So perfectly situated without being noisy, lovely staff, fantastic and varied breakfast (with excellent coffee), a well appointed gym, spotless and spacious. Thank you for making a solo female traveller happy, well fed and safe.

A beautiful place to stay when you visit Bucharest. The hotel has nice, spacious rooms with comfy beds. It also has the most beautiful furniture. You have a fantastic view in the evening. Staff are friendly and helpful, speak several languages - no worries for travellers from any country. Breakfast is fine, and the restaurant looks nice as well. Parking is possible as well, so you don't have to worry about the car.

It was pleasurable trip to Bucharesti and to stay in the hotel .All the staff and services were great ,Location great cross from parliament Uber to down town inexpensive , breakfast was great .we had ten day in this hotel with unforgettable experience .Thanks

Whether you're in town for business or leisure, Mercure Bucharest offers a welcoming and comfortable stay. We left with wonderful memories and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

◯ バス停(368番)の目の前、近くにスーパーマーケットやレストランが多数 ◯ 広くて快適な部屋、プールもあり ◯ 種類が豊富な朝食 ◯ スタッフがフレンドリーで親切 レセプションスタッフのVALENTINAは、チェックイン時にホテル周辺の情報など親切に教えてくれました。後日隣にある同じグループのホテルで会った時も彼女から声をかけてくれて、私の名前まで覚えてくれていました。とても嬉しかったです。ILINCAも親切なレセプションスタッフでした。長い旅行で疲れていると話すと、無料でレイトチェックアウトをさせてくれました。おかげでフライトの時間に合わせてホテルの部屋を出ることができました。 朝食レストランのスタッフのADEはいつも笑顔でとてもいい印象でした。よく声をかけてくれて、ゲストを気にかけてくれているのが分かりました。彼のおかげで朝からよい気分になりました。朝食レストランのスタッフは、このホテルのレセプション隣にあるレストランSharkiaのスタッフのようです。他のスタッフも親切だし、何より食事も美味しいので、Sharkiaが気になる人は行ってみる価値はありそうです。 サーバーキッチンのIzabelaは日本語が話しました。日本語を話す人などほとんどいないので驚きました。キッチンから挨拶に来てくれて、日本語で話してくれて嬉しかったです。 その他、エントランスのセキュリティーやハウスキーパーも親切でした。 スタッフのみなさんのおかげで快適な3泊滞在ができました。ありがとうございました。

In any self-respecting hotel, you would expect basic amenities like toothbrush holders in the bathroom. There were none, so we had to place our toothbrushes on the counter by the sink. Even simple items such as a shower cap were not provided. Housekeeping entered every morning without waiting after knocking. During heavy snowfall, the hotel made no effort to clear a path outside, and we had to walk through snow and frozen puddles to reach our taxi, while other hotels had cleared walkways for their guests. On our last morning, my husband went to buy a coffee and was sent to the dining room. When he made a coffee, a staff member immediately questioned whether we had paid for breakfast and called reception to check, without giving him a chance to say he would pay. She then loudly announced, “Sir! You haven’t paid for the coffee!” as if he were trying to steal. He paid immediately and didn’t even take the change. Overall, this hotel is no more than a three-star property. Management seemed absent, and the staff were unprofessional and inattentive
