As you did not refund my hotel and neither you or The Lord Nelson would credit me for this 7 day stay never confirmed by you until I was debited in July, l presumed the booking was cancelled. So can you not send me any offers or deals in the future. Regards Mike Branton, please Regards

This is a cheap and cheerful town centre pub. Friendly welcoming reasonable prices The ale on tap is gorgeous Proper homemade chips We had chicken sharing platter all served hot and was as expected This is what we call convenient pub food Served quickly and a quick pint just what was needed today. We often just drive around on a day off and find somewhere we haven’t been before We’ve booked a hotel room local and are coming back for the karaoke on Saturday very large friendly pub

The pub was clean, warm and inviting on a cold winters day. We were seved by the landlord who was friendly and welcoming. I was given good information about the ales available as small talk was made. There was a good choice of meals available from the menu and specials were also available. The food was served in good time and was thoroughly enjoyed. The toilets were clean and well maintained. Our only regret is that living in Cornwall, we are unable to visit again.

we had lunch there on Sunday and it was a very pleasant surprise. the food was home cooked as advertised and we both really enjoyed our meal, the atmosphere was very pleasant and the staff could not do enough. All in all it was a very enjoyable experience and i would advise anyone visiting brigg or who lives there, to give it a go.

Food shockingly bad, microwave crap no taste , rude staff , paid fir cider as part of Xmas meal package but had not been offered coffee which we paid for, they actually started cleaning down Our table and around us while we was eating making it clear we needed to go. We was added to attend our tackle at 3om Which we dad and was in time. We was there there one hour thirty mins when it was made clear they was getting ready to go , this was while we was actually eating. The food was shockingly bad as was the service . Then to add insult to injury Accused us of not paying when we paid weeks advance…. 3 staff members came out saying last to go to my disabled mum. I will add we came here as my mum was disabled and it was near and my brother had died less than three months ago so we wanted to get mum out ….. she was so upset paid with drinks over £300. . Not impressed and will Never come again if there was a minis 1I’d be pressing it ‘ maybe worth getting some training in etiquette and being a chef. Disgusting you should be ashamed if your selves. Using microwave and frozen food does not not make you a chef ! 👎

Popped in for fish and chips at dinnertime after seeing the board outside advertised home cooked food . Was very disappointed to get frozen fish and frozen chips also greeted by loads of flys on entering the pub not a very good welcome at all .

The window was broken and didn't stay open... There was a green light on the feeling in the centre of the room that lit the room up all night... Tears in the wallpaper all over. Tea and coffee making facilities sat over the single bed and a shelf with coat hangers on hung directly over my sons head, in the single bed.
