Totally it’s not what I expect,very small and noisy And the pictures is not the place I booked ,it just one part of the picture,and it too small to fit a living room

Very spacious, good location super easy to get around. There is a washing machine also. easy to find food in this area. And the view! Amazing

Perfect location, studio was clean and we'll furnished. Enjoy my stay immensely. The elevator however is a tad confusing/ frustrating to use.

A great view in a nice apartment. Make sure you message ahead for the door code because it isn’t sent to you automatically. It will also change after midday on check out day so watch out for that too.

Very beautiful and unique room! We loved the Japanese style decor and spacious environment. Staff were professional, knowledgeable, and very helpful. All amenities were provided, including kitchen supplies and napkins and toiletries as well as slippers. There were plenty of towels and bedding. The view was absolutely beautiful! The elevator was easy to use. We enjoyed cooking using the stovetop. Would highly recommend.

The location is in a great neighborhood and host was quick to respond to questions regarding check-in. Not too happy with the bathroom. Our room (BlackCleanliness of our room was fine, could be a bit better e.g. dust near windows, bed headboard or on top of the washing machine and shower curtain rack.

It is a perfect place with all the needed commodities. Very well located, close to 2 different metro stations. Definitely recommend it. Special word for the support team that are so kind and helpful

I enjoyed my stay at Lotus Homestay. It is located in a central and chic area of Shanghai, near to the SH Conservatory of Music, where I was attending an event. If you enjoy 20s and 30s architecture, you can see many examples of this era in the mansions and townhouses in the surrounding neighbourhood. If you enjoy coffee, there are many cafes nearby to choose from, including a real French bakery with delicious and authentic offerings. People watching features too, with plenty of chic locals parading dainty pooches on leashes, as well as an international kind of vibe. The homestay has everything you need, admittedly in a rather small space. The bed was comfortable and I slept well and the place is very secure with a code for the door passed to you by the owner. You'll need to contact the owner beforehand by WeChat, but, it's actually reassuring to have this contact, and to know you can be in touch easily should there be any issues. In all Lotus Homestay is great for a getaway and I recommend it especially for solo travelers (foreigners as well) who are looking for an accessible and budget friendly stay.

Great location, amazing view and lovely staff. This is a good place to stay for exploring the French Concession and Shanghai in general. The cleaning eas included during our stay and pur contact person was always available and very helpful. The only negative is, that there is a smell coming from the bathroom sink sometimes, but it was not too much of a problem.

Excellent location and friendly check-in, we received many bottles of water and we appreciated the facilities such as the washing machine. It could have been cleaner though, the apartment looked a lot older than in the pictures.

Very clean and comfy. Good location with convinient stores just round the corner and subway within walking distance, surely would stay again!

The little apartment was lovely - clean, comfy, well-organized and well-decorated, with all needed features. The location was brilliant. Only small nitpick is the many many throw pillows - in an apartment that tiny, there's no place to put them. The service was good and efficient, if not the easiest for a foreigner. There is no central location to check in to - you let them know when you arrive, and they send you an address with passcode instructions. While this worked reasonably well, I didn't feel like I got sufficient notice of it in advance - we arrived in Shanghai tired and hot, with no Chinese phone number, and it took a while to figure out where we needed to go. It would be great to receive a wechat contact in advance to make things smoother. There's also not anyone to provide help if you have questions during your stay - I sent a message with some basic tourist questions and didn't receive a response for a couple days. That said, it's very well organized and I would happily stay there again - just make sure you communicate with them direclty before arriving in Shanghai.
