The overall experience was ok. We arrived and the 24h receptionist couldn't speak any English, but you could use your own phone to translate. We booked bigger rooms but they gave us smaller ones and we paid the same amount, not good.

Even when leaving, I noticed that the crevices by the corner power outlets were spotless – remarkably clean throughout. Service was excellent, and the housekeeping staff were particularly friendly. **Facilities:** Well-equipped, with a sound system in the room.

A big thank you to the front desk for upgrading our room from a 1.35m double bed to a King-size one. We also utilized the complimentary breakfast service. For a hotel with approximately 80 rooms, the breakfast area astonishingly only has 4 tables and 12 chairs. It's baffling that this situation has apparently persisted for over a decade. Have no other guests complained about the perpetually crowded, seat-deficient, and inconvenient breakfast experience? Doesn't corporate management check on these things? I'm truly astounded! Why isn't it mentioned in the hotel's description that it can only accommodate 12 diners at a time? Furthermore, upon using the emergency stairwell, I was genuinely appalled by the condition of the handrails. How did this ever pass a fire safety inspection? (3 photos attached). Am I truly the first person to notice this? Unbelievable! What a bizarre situation!

Great hotel. Clean, big rooms. They allow extensions and you don’t have to move out of your room to get one. I like the robot service delivery when you order food and it gets sent to your room.

My first stay at Hanting, and there won't be a next time. I hardly ever leave reviews, but I truly can't believe a chain hotel would have a broken sink with no running water. Don't the staff even know about it? I'll just leave it at that. I don't even want to get into other things, but the soundproofing was absolutely terrible.

The bed was directly opposite a window that only had a half-length curtain. At night, the drumming of the rain was incredibly loud, and you could clearly hear conversations and even dogs from downstairs. The soundproofing was absolutely terrible. The room itself was tiny, and the bed wasn't even flat.

Overall, my stay was incredibly satisfying. The front desk even provided a complimentary room upgrade, which was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast was excellent as well. The hotel's location is fantastic – just a few minutes' walk to the subway station, with an abundance of dining options nearby, and tourist attractions are also easily accessible. It truly offers excellent value for money, and the staff's service attitude was superb. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Shanghai. Highly recommend! 👍

The room was spotless. Facilities: While the facilities show their age a bit, they seem to have been recently renovated, as they look pretty good. The gentleman at the front desk provided excellent service; he even thoughtfully gave me a bottle of water when I checked out, which was much appreciated given how hot Shanghai summers are!

Facilities: Excellent and offers great value for money. The room was very sunny with plenty of natural light, and they provided a generous array of toiletries. Cleanliness: Spotlessly clean, making it ideal for business travelers. Environment: The surrounding area boasts many great shops. Service: The staff were very friendly and helpful – truly fantastic!

The hotel was quite clean, and for this price point, it exceeded expectations. The bathroom's cleanliness and the quality of the towels were on par with a 4-star hotel. Breakfast was also very good, especially the hot stir-fried dishes like cabbage and dried tofu with pork, which were delicious and clearly prepared by a skilled chef. The front desk staff were attentive, patient, and friendly!

Nice and clean room. Surrounding with nice restaurants. But breakfast is always same menu everyday. Overall I recommend this hotel and we had a nice staying.

Compared to the picture during the booking process, we got a much smaller room with a lot smaller window. Anyway clean room, clean bed and towels, nothing really special but a good accomodation for a reasonable price. Small shops, restaurants and convenience shops around. Moho Mall and subway station about a 10-15 min walk away.

Simple hotel but money worth it. the hotel is a good area full of coffees shops and restaurants, also close to Jade Temple. The breakfast is mainly homemade dim sum and it was ok. If you don’t want to spend lot of money, definitely this one is a good choice

Another excellent stay at this hotel. The service is fantastic and they really di help to solve any issues. A very convenient place to stay and I highly recommend this place.
